Pre-workout supplements come in a wide variety of forms, as well as effectiveness. It seems like a new one pops up nearly everyday, and one recent one I learned about is called Optimal Stack. Often paired with other products like Alpha Cut HD, Nitro Shred, and Alpha Fuel XT for maximum effectiveness, this formula promises a host of benefits. But do you really need to stack Optimal Stack with all of these other products for maximum results. We dive into the details of this product and get to the bottom of it.

What is Optimal Stack?

Optimal stack is labeled as a pre-workout energy and focus amplifier, which promises to increase your endurance, reduce post workout fatigue, and help you achieve a leaner, more muscular look. It is also said to help remove unwanted waste from your body, the type of waste that blocks the progression of muscle growth.

optimal stack reviewFinding out what the ingredients list in Optimal Stack is was nearly impossible, as it is not mentioned on the products official website and we couldn’t find a label of it anywhere. We ordered a bottle of Optimal Stack today, but it probably won’t be here for a week or so, so until then we can only speculate what the ingredients actually are. My guess is that it contains L-Arginine, which is a precursor to the production of Nitric Oxide. L-Arginine is used in several other types of supplements, and is used to help facilitate blood and oxygen flow through the body, helping to deliver nutrients more efficiently.

I would also imagine, based on the claims made by the company that makes it, that it probably contains some sort of stimulant. Caffeine is probably likely, as well as ginseng and ginkgo biloba. Of course, were not completely sure, so it is best to try to find out what’s in it before you take it.

Pro’s of Optimal Stack

  • Apparently rave customer reviews
  • Ships Quickly

Con’s of Optimal Stack

  • Not available in stores
  • Numerous complaints on RipOffReport.com and PissedConsumer.com
  • Only way to buy is via free trial

Where To Buy Optimal Stack

The only place you can buy optimal stack is on their official website, OptimalStack.com. It is also only available as a free trial, where you basically pay $4.59 for shipping and handling, and if you are satisfied with the product your credit card will be charged $87.47 at the end of the trial period. You are also enrolled in what is commonly known as an auto-rebill program, where a new supply of Optimal Stack will be sent to you every 30 days, and your credit card is charged $87.47 for this new supply until you cancel.

Recommendation

Based on our initial outlook, there is too little information about Optimal Stack to say with any confidence that it actually works. The official site is missing the most critical of details, especially the ingredients list. It’s one thing to promise a host of benefits, but it’s another thing to not properly label exactly what ingredients will produce those benefits. We suggest that if you choose to try optimal stack yourself, that you do so with extreme caution.

More than anything though, I do not think that it is worth taking things that you don’t have full access to all of the necessary information to determine whether or not something is safe because when that is the case you are essentially taking a gamble with your health, and there is absolutely nothing more important than your health so I would say either skip it, or if you take it, closely monitor how you are feeling in the following hours.

It sounds like you signed up for their free trial and got put into their automatic shipment program. You’ll need to get in touch with them directly.

The numbers I got off their website are: USA / Canada: 1-866-330-2928 and Australia / New Zealand: 1-800-768-105. If those don’t work, check with your credit card company or bank. They should have a number that can get you through.

  5. Hey there I’m also going through the same bs but have cancelled my credit card and finally got my refund. I still have both bottles but haven’t used them.

Need to know if there are any side effects with these pills?
    1. Hey Vas,

Without knowing the ingredients, I really don’t have any idea if it causes side effects. If you still want to try it, start at a half dose, or even less.

  6. Don’t even go there. I’m yet another person caught up in this scam.

Tried calling the Australia/NZ number and it is no longer connected!! The only other way to contact them is via addresses overseas or their US phone number. Time to cancel the credit card.

Looks like that will be the only way to stop them. Thanks a lot Mens Health.

You think they would do their research before promoting a scam 🙁
  7. Can’t believe that Mens Health magazine would get caught up in a scam like this, and I can’t believe that I fell into the BS trap.
Yes Mens Health magazine had promoted it on their FB page, now I can’t get through to cancel my order.

Pissed now that I’ll have to go through the process of cancelling my credit card, these rip off merchants should found and prosecuted accordingly.
    1. Not sure if they even know this is happening. I’ve tried reaching out to them in the past, but received no response.

  10. Ah shit after reading all these posts feeling a little scammed now , I got my bottle of Masspm couple of weeks ago and now got a phone call to receive the next couple of bottles and of course just pay shipping , as soon as they get here gonna put a block on the credit card I going .
  11. Optimal stack and Mass PM works brilliantly. Makes your bank account very lean.

Apart from the pricing, the product does work but would assume coffee with 6 sugars would give similar results.

Wont be going pass the apparent free trial which is at 117.00 at the moment
Cancelled my credit card just in case.
  12. Offer it free, then ask ,for shipping fee now they’ve got your info your paying for it and if you try to cancel they hit you for the full price
  13. I too have been screwed over by this company. I made my purchase, paid the shipping and handling and got my order pretty quickly.

Little did I know, my credit card would be charged 10 times more then the original purchase, if not cancelled right away. Luckily i did not open either container yet.

And can get a portion back once they recieve the product. At the expence of the consumer once again.

DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. Unless you have money to throw away.

  14. Hi! I’ve just come across all of this Info about using Mass PM & Optimal Mass together for best results, but after reading so many complaints here and on other sites, I think I’m gonna pass?

Can someone recommend some product(s) similar (used solo or with another product), that’s very similar, gives great results, and would/is available at GNC Canada or Popeye’s Canada?

    Thanks for reading.

  15. Idk if it’s a scam but I got my bottle and I’m going to use it. I’ll give my review at the end if I see any results.

  16. I order optimal stack. an bs they toke out four extra payments. i look at my bank statements. is there any way i can my money back..i called them on it bs
    1. Hey Dustin,

Yeah, you’re not alone. Lots of guys have been taken by this scam.

You can try calling them to ask for a refund, but I wouldn’t hold your breath. At the very least, make sure they stop charging you.

Call your credit card on that if you have to.

  17. I’m sorry to say but I firmly disagree with any individual on positive reviews for this product or most products for that matter when it comes to reading a post online. They are usually paid employees or friends of the manufacture just promoting the product to catch purchasers off guard.

I got scammed hard on MassPM and Optimal stack and the fairy dust thats inserted into these supplements are simply fillers with some caffeine and sugar. A smart and long journey for a few buddies to accumulate some wealth at the expense of everyone else.

    Its stealing. Pure and simple.

My free trial has since cost me in excess of $200 even though i have called and canceled, called my credit card company, and am now talking to the law on how to stop this sort of scam in the future. I’m normally better than tis as well, but the geniuses see you visited the website and maybe went as far as putting in some info, then they call you very ignorantly in the middle of a work day and read off some script to you so fast you don’t know whats happening, all recorded…. for their protection.

So in the end its supposedly legal, but still stealing. A scam.

Never ever order online. Go down to your local GNC or popeyes and just pick up some hard goods.

    1. Hey Mark,

I completely agree with you when it comes to any of these products that are only available through phony free trials. But there are plenty of legitimate products sold online.

You just have to be careful and have a good bullshit detector.
      Rob
      SupplementCritique.com

  18. Complete scam. This company goes under many names and sells (offers) many different products and they are all marketed the same.

They provide a “free sample” and then bil you immediately for it of which you don’t know they are doing that. Stay away from these types of sites..nothing is for free and by the way, it’s main ingredient is caffeine!!

  19. Everyone is so concerned about being “scammed” and actually having to pay for the product, nobody is saying if the product actually works…..If it works, $90/mth is peanuts compared to what most spend on supplements monthly. Does it work?

    If so I’m in.
    1. Hey Bullet,

If this product were worth $90, they wouldn’t be using the shady marketing practice of catching people up in the fine print. They wouldn’t need to.

And I disagree that $90 is peanuts. Guys using stacks are paying more than that, but not on each supplement.

      Rob

  20. There is no star rating! Bunch of scam artists!

Does not work ! I failed to cancel the product before the trial was over and they both charged my card!

Poor customer service as the lady on the phone was talking over me and an ignorant bitch!! Stay away from these scammers! I should’ve checked out the reviews before I ordered!

  21. I got me free bottle, they use a “proprietary blend” so they don’t have to disclose any of the amounts of ingredients. They can do something called “pixie dusting” where they just use a pinch of everything else and load it up with the cheapest one.

This most likely is a caffeine pill. After reading all the “scam” comments screw them I’m cancelling my credit card they can bite me.

  22. Hey guys, I find the product is okay. It does give me a boost and I have found myself to look leaner lately and here’s how I’ve gotten around their system and have been getting free trials for the past two months…

Sign up for the free trials under different names, addresses and using different I.P addresses, like work or home, that sort of thing… If you’re using a friends house as the address let them know something is shipping there haha.

The MOST important thing is DO NOT use your credit card, they will bill you automatically every month.

The key here is to use a prepaid credit card every time ($15 dollars worth) or the next smallest amount.

By doing this the automatic charges of $90 every month after will bounce and you can buy a new prepaid card every month to continue getting the free.

I hope this continues to work and let me know how it goes for you!

If they wanna screw us over with fine print, let’s screw them back, HARDER!!

    Cheers
    1. Hey Taylor,
Yeah sometimes that tactic works, sometimes it doesn’t it just depends on the manufacturer. But keep us posted on your results.

    2. Cheating the company out of its product is definitely not the answer. If the supplement is working for you, at least provide the company with fairness from your side and have the decency to use their telephone number and work out a straight sale price with whoever serves you on the customer service line.

My friendly advice to you is to find middle ground and discriminate between customer entitlement to the best prices and stealing the company’s product and benefiting without providing it the respective compensation.
Good day to you, sir! 🙂

  23. This is a SCAM. They say 10 day free trial but take 2 days to ship out the product, then bill you the 10th calendar day (despite legal holidays and weekends) so you essentially get a 1 day free trial.

If you fail to cancel within 10 days of ordering, they charge you a cancellation fee and 1 month’s supply. I called customer service and they refused to let me speak to a supervisor – Dillan T was NOT helpful.

  24. I ordered this product and Trig X as they are supposed to be combined for a better result. As soon as I got the bottles in the mail, I called and cancelled future orders stating that this short amount of time is not enough to fully evaluate the product.

Trig X did not charge me anything and provided me with a cancellation number (I hope they are not planning on charging me or want the product back, that is yet to be determined). With this product however, I was given a lifetime “Employee” discount from a very friendly Samantha which is 50%; this will be one time charge (I hope) with no further obligation or shipments.

If I reengage and want to continue the product, I will continue to pay half price. I read all of the terms and conditions prior to ordering to ensure myself that I knew what I was getting into.

I can’t expect a miracle and they need to make their money as a company. I hope I am completely satisfied with the product and look forward to some results.

Most of what I read as far as scams goes is mostly consumer ignorance from not reading reviews and more so, not reading the terms and conditions. Yes, 14 days from ordering is not enough time to evaluate a product.

By the time you get it, you have about 3 days. I would suggest calling them as soon as you get the order to cancel.

Ensure you get cancellation numbers and that they will not bill for future shipments. If they do, call them and send the product back.

At a minimum, you will get some of your money back. You will have to pay for shipping and handling (about $5), but you should get the rest.

You can cancel at any time! Sorry for those who have had issues.

If anything changes with the results of my cancellation, I will be sure to post them to this site. On the same note, if I get half of the results I am looking for, I think I will be satisfied enough to continue this product and Trig X in the future.

    Wish me luck!
    1. This, by itself, is one of the best customer reviews I have seen all over the internet. Thank you for sharing your knowledge on this product which I will be trying soon.

    1. Hey Terry,
It’s actually quite a common practice for some of these supplements to offer these trials and then sign you up for monthly shipments. They bury the agreement in the fine print, hoping to catch unsuspecting customers like yourself.

And believe me, a lot of guys get caught up in these scams! Call the number on the product website to cancel future shipments.

Hopefully you’ll be able to recoup some of your money, but I wouldn’t count on it.
      Rob
      SupplementCritique.com

  25. This product is a scam. When you go to cancel it, they charge you a $35 dollar restocking fee in addition to the shipping and processing you already pay.

It’s either that or ship back to them at your own expense and pray that it gets to them in time, lest you be charged the full amount. I’m embarrassed to say that I fell for this scam, I usually know better.
