Ever since I was a little kid, I have played a wide variety of sports, ranging from baseball to football and much more. At 32 years of age, these sports have taken a toll on my joints, and I found myself waking up and having a hard time getting the “kinks” out.

I know your probably thinking, “Wow, this kid is only 32 years old and he’s complaining about his joints already!?” The fact of the matter is, I never took serious time warming up or cooling down after my workouts, and I would say my poor diet probably hasn’t helped either.

Destined to find something that works, I decided to test out a few different glucosamine supplements that help with joint pain, one of which is a product called Joint Advance. This formula promised to start working immediately to promote long term joint comfort for hands, knees, shoulders, and pretty much every other joint you can imagine.

What is Joint Advance?

Joint Advance is an all natural formula (a pill) designed to help relieve joint pain through a proprietary formula of ingredients that includes Glucosamine Complex, Chondroitin Sulfate, MSM, Vitamin C, Ginger, and White Willow Bark. We all know that taking glucosamine regularly in combination with MSM helps to effectively reduce pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, but what do these other ingredients do?

joint advance reviewWell, the secret is in the ingredient Chondroitin Sulfate, which has been shown in some clinical trials to interfere with the progression of osteoarthritis. Combined with Vitamin C, Ginger, and White Willow bark, it makes for an interesting and highly effective combination for anyone suffering from joint pain.

My Results With Joint Advance

As I stated earlier, I have been suffering from joint pain for the past few years now, and was looking for something to help relieve the pain and stiffness. I tried a few other products, but nothing seemed to work just right. After getting a 4 months supply of Joint Advance, I started to notice a difference within the first few days. Most notably, my knee pain (I had “jumpers knee”) started to subside, and I didn’t have to wear my knee band while playing basketball or volleyball.

After about a month my shoulder and neck pain was virtually eliminated, and I attribute it completely to Joint Advance. I wasn’t having to pop 6 Advil a day just to keep the pain away, it was just a really good feeling overall.

Recommendation

While my situation is pretty specific, I do feel that Joint Advance could help pretty much anyone of any age suffering from joint related pain. Obviously this no substitution for medical advice from your doctor, but if you want to try something that doesn’t involve a prescription, I think that Joint Advance could be a suitable alternative for you. I recommend you order a 6 months supply to take advantage of their steep discounts.

what is best brand of glucosamine without chondroitin -Marina

If you don't want the Chondroitin, your best bet is a pill that's purely glucosamine.  Almost all composite pills have both.- Rob

I have had a bad left knee for about 14 or 15 years. I just pivoted to the left and felt some thing pop. I thought it would go away but it didn't. I take SAME-e which does some good but it gets stiff if I stand too long. Could I take it along with SAM-e to try it out or would it be best to take it by itself. -Jack

I'm actually not well-versed in prescription medications and how they interact with various supplements. It may be perfectly fine, but you will need to check with your doctor to be sure.- Rob

I take Eliquis for my A-Fib heart problem. I was told to stop taking Naproxen with the Eliquis as it could cause internal bleeding. I currently take Glucosamine and Tylenol Arthritis with a prescribed knee pain killer, Finasteride. Could Joint Advance be taken with the Eliquis so I can get off the other stuff which isn't working that great. Thanks -tom davies

Not being a doctor, I really can't answer how this or any supplement will interact with your prescription medication. You'll have to consult with your doctor.- Rob

  1. what is the best joint supplement for my rheumatoid arthritis.
Everyone mentions osteo arthritis but not rheumatoid

    1. Hey Genny,
I haven’t done a review or tested it, but with a quick look at the website, it looks like it has a good ingredients list – maybe too good. It’s got 15 ingredients, but doesn’t reveal amounts.

As a result, it’s tough to know if there’s enough to be effective.
  2. I noticed Joint Advance doesn’t show the list of ingredients (i.e. the back of the bottle). I don’t usually buy supplements that don’t show that and fully disclose what they are selling.

Is this just an oversight? Is that info available somewhere else?

    1. Hey Connley,
Yeah, I totally understand. The active ingredients include: Glucosamine Complex, Chondroitin Sulfate, MSM, Vitamin C, Ginger, and White Willow Bark.

  3. I would like to try Intraflex to help with the aches
and pain in my body but I cannot take anything that
contains aspirin because I am taking Coumadin. does
    this product contain aspirin?
    1. Hey Jo,

It does not contain aspirin, but it does contain White Willow Bark, which has some similar properties as aspirin. You might want to check with your doctor about whether or not it’s okay in your situation.

  4. My mother is 67 and suffering from joint pains. Is it safe for her to try Joint Advance?

    She is hypertensive.
    1. Hey Mike,

With her high blood pressure, she should check with her doctor to make sure there are no contraindications.

  5. Hi Rob, I’m just wondering if JointAdvance also works for dogs? right now he is getting glucosamine and chondroitin and it really does help. Do you think Joint advance might be a better option?

    Most Sincerely,
    Sophia

    1. Hey Sophia,

That’s really out of my area. You could check the dosage the vet recommended and see if it matches what’s in Joint Advance.

But you’d probably do better budget-wise to stick with generic supplements in this case.

  6. A few months ago, a trusted supplement store owner suggested I take MSM after mentioning a mild rotator cuff injury years earlier. It’s the NOW brand.

Is weigh more on the side of prevention or waste of money? AND, if it is effective against osteoarthritis, should I continue for prevention, even if I’ve no idea I’ll ever have the malady?

    Thanks.
    1. Hey Certo,

I don’t have any personal experience, but for the price, you should give it a try. It’s a trusted supplement and a trusted brand, so even if it doesn’t improve your symptoms, it’s safe to take.

  7. My daughter is a lax player and also has juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. While she is under medical care of a physician and on medication for joint pain, she still has joint pain at times.

Wondering if this would be possible to add to her regimen to help her pain? She’s 18 years old.

    1. Hey Jennifer,

I think it could help, but since she’s being seen by a doctor and taking medications, she should consult with him first.

  8. Are these products for people who are overweight with joint pain? or are they supposed to work better for people who are not overweight with knee and joint pain?
    1. Hey Suzanne,

If the weight is part of the problem, that will still be there, but the supplement should help with some relief.

  9. Rob, are you endorsed by either Instaflex or Joint advance? if not which product would you reccommend thanks….. shane.
    1. Hi Shane,
I am not endorsed by either product, but I am an affiliate for Joint Advance. To be honest, both products work very well, the only gripe I have with Instaflex is their price.

The free trial is basically a sham to get you locked in an auto rebill program, where they keep sending you the product and continually charging you until you cancel. If you don’t mind paying for it, go with Instaflex.

If not, I would recommend Joint Advance.
