Anna And Samantha Martin Were NOT On Shark Tank
By: Rob MillerI was skimming through my Facebook feed the other day when I came across the following post:
I clicked it, and couldn’t believe my eyes…
It was the EXACT same thing I saw just a few months back.
The short answer is this: Anna and Samantha Martin are not real people, and were never on Shark Tank. While it may appear legit, the article you were just reading is a complete fabrication. It was designed to trick you into thinking that whatever weight loss supplement, wrinkle cream, or keto pill they were promoting landed “the biggest deal in Shark Tank history”. The simple truth is, there isn’t any.
Here’s the long version…
Before you scroll down, let me make a couple recommendations for supplements that actually do work.

Shark Tank Weight Loss Episode 2018
Back in late July, I posted an expose on how there was no such thing as some miracle weight loss pill seen on Shark Tank.
The jist of it went like this…
Anna and Samantha Martin, 2 sisters from Skokie, Illinois, appeared on an episode of Shark Tank in 2018 to pitch their product “SlimFit 180”.
The Shark Tank panel of judges was so impressed, that they offered the Martin sisters a $5 Million offer for 42% of their company.
They happily agreed to the offer, and everyone lived happily after ever.
Or Did They…
Back to the ad I just saw.
When I clicked on it, it took me to a page that looked eerily similar to the one I was talking about back in July.
Same picture of the Martin sisters at the top of the page, but this time they were saying they invented some moisturizer.
So which one is it?
Well, the answer to that question is…
Neither!
That’s right folks, this entire blog post is a fake.
I’ve already explained this in pretty good detail in this post, but I’ll touch on a few things here.
Anna And Samantha Martin Part 1
The first thing that may not be so obvious to the casual reader is the url of each of these websites.
At first glance, each page looks like the Entertainment Today website.
However, if you look closely, you’ll see that the urls for all of these just don’t match up.
The other dead giveaway is the side by side pics they show on the right hand side of the page.
They use the exact same name (with different before and after photos), but for completely different products.
How I Know Anna And Samantha Martin Weren’t On Shark Tank
Back to the sisters in question.
If you google their names, the first thing that shows up is this playlist on Youtube.
However, if you actually watch the video, this is not the sisters you were looking for.
This is a completely different pair of women who appeared on Shark Tank pitching a completely different product called Tippi Toes.
They are, in fact, sisters. But their names aren’t Anna and Samantha Martin.
They’re Sarah Nuse and Megan Reilly, and they ultimately landed a deal with Mark Cuban for 30% equity in exchange for $100,000.
Unfortunately for them, like so many others that have been on Shark Tank, the deal ultimately fell through.
Further down the search results we see a Facebook post by someone asking about a face cream called Allegro.
It’s not until we get a bit further down the results until we see the real truth.
This article, which was originally published on the UK Mirror site, shows that con men have been using Sandra Bullocks name to pitch a wide variety of products.
In fact, Sandra Bullocks image has been used in several of these deceptive ads.
The story is always the same, but the names of the products change on a continual basis.
The UK Mirror site specifically calls out the fact that Anna and Samantha Martin are actually two sisters named Shelly Hyde and Kara Haught.
They developed a moms swimwear product line, and consequently landed a deal with Barbara Corcoran.
You can watch the full shark tank episode below.
Conclusion
Clearly this is scam designed to trick you in to thinking that some revolutionary skin care product, weight loss pill, or face cream landed some huge deal on Shark Tank.
It didn’t…
And Anna and Samantha Martin?
They don’t exist…
Well, at least not by those names. Keep in mind that there are literally dozens of products that have been claiming they were seen on Shark Tank.
The moral of the story is that people will go to great lengths to try to dupe you into falling for their product, and if something seems suspicious, it’s probably just too good to be true.
Here’s a list of all of the ones I’ve come across in the past few months:

In Short: I would NOT recommend this to a friend.
So I was a sucker and fell for it not once but 3 times. Each time I received the pills it was only for the cost of shipping but every time it was named something different and every time not only did I not loose any weight, but the company kept trying to bill my card.
Luckily my card company stopped the payment and contacted me for suspiciousness on account.
This is fraud to me and they should not be able to false adverse. So with that being said I am still battling my weight.
I really had my hopes up and then turns out it was too good to be true. So Do Not ever order.
One thing that I realized was that the advertising was for a drink for before bed, and everytime it was capsules and directions were different everytime as well.
Hopefully this makes available for the viewers of the product.

Sheesh
In Short: I would NOT recommend this to a friend.
I really got tricked into buying a moisturizer which worked really good but then they tried to charge me $100 and told me pay or send the cream back!!! Idk how any of this is legal but I wish the government would put a stop to it.

But wait a minute!
I recognize those ladies I have seen those very same before and after photos advertising a totally different product. This stuff is a rip off and a scam.
Stay away!
Be on the look out for “Keto Bodytone”. It even hacked my friend’s email to send me a link to the website, and was going to charge me 60$ more than it said.
After doing more research I found out it was a scam. Now I know to do more research before I purchase something online.
Thank you so much for making this!!
Found the video but about dancing. 🙁 I thought I had goofed in my searching and then came upon your site. Thanks for the info.
What do you recommend people like me do. I received the product…but under false pretense.
They did a good job of putting a lot of their own articles about the scam with fake reviewers all saying it was in “fact” a great product. I tried to cancel my order the next day (about six weeks ago, but still haven’t received it).
Customer service said my only option was to try the product and return the unused product after 60 days (the funny part is that they said I couldn’t cancel because the order had already gone to shipping. Must be on a slow boat from China). The day after I placed the order they sent an email saying that my order was still in my cart and wanted me to finish up that order.
At that time I smelled the rat and asked my bank to-reverse/contest the charge (result TBD). Thought you would interested in my experience.
One question, did anyone let you know about the success or failure of the product? Thanks again!
No problem, glad to help save as many as possible from this scam. Regarding your question, nobody has come forward with their results.
They (i.e. the companies making them) change up the products so often, often weekly, that no one even knows where to turn to post their review.
In my experience, NONE of these supplements work…which is why they revert to using this type of deceptive advertising to drum up business.
Hope this helps and good luck!

This was a pop up from Facebook.
DailyTrendingTodayNews gives its address as 1515 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, FL 33432 which is a virtual office address.
What a scam!
Maybe a 1- 800 # would work . Anything you have that wound work for me would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply. What’s the name of the product you’re having issues with?
I emailed the company and told them I knew it was a scam and that there are other victims. I also told them that I had reported them to the FTC and BBB.
I soon got a reply offering me a full refund! Thank you for your help.
They do reply to my emails but cannot cancel my order as it has already been shipped apparently. The parcel tracking number doesn’t work and although they respond they do not actually answer my questions.
Any advice on getting my money back would be much appreciated.
Unfortunately I can’t seem to find a UK number for them. I would recommend you get in touch with your credit card company and explain what’s happening, they should be able to help.
Have a great day knowing you have helped so many people!
I got an info message while playing a game on my ipad about Keto Lean but also discovered another name, supposedly also connected to the Shark Tank (Pure Life). Them I found your page and learned there were even more names.
Completely confused, I’ve decided not to buy any of them. Are you saying that they are all illegitimate?
Yeah, complete scam. There’s literally 100’s of products that have been claiming they were seen on Shark Tank.
If the advert you saw looked anything like I mentioned above / in the video, it’s 100% a scam.

Here is another link. Thanks for this!

Thank you for your post!! Saved me from getting scammed! I saw this post on Facebook marketplace.
The name of the product is Organa Keto, for anyone who was wondering.
Here’s another one.
I finally had to get a lawyer involved.. I wish I had seen this video before, I am a paraplegic veteran and was looking for something to add to my yoga to help try to get weight loss.
Sad that so many of these companies take advantage of people.. and I am not sure why fox or entertainment today are not suing these companies… or shark tank even.. truly false advertising.

You screwed up the picture with the story
Then … I’m going to make their loved ones cry… collect their tears in a jar and freeze them into ice cubes so I can enjoy it later in my Whisky and Coke!
I shared your article on FB to hopefully help any of my friends and family.
But for anyone else that’s reading this the name of the supplement was KetoGen RX.
Thank you so much for the warning on this product. So glad I researched it before making a purchase.
Do you have an email so that I can send you an article that I received to buy “Nulante”, an anti aging moisturizer, also claimed to be made by the 2 sisters. People are HUGE frauds.
I’ll send you the article so you can nip this one in the butt too. Email?
Regards Melissa
I actually don’t really critique skin creams like that, but send it over anyway. My email is contact at supplementcritique.com.
My wife owns WomensBlogTalk.com, and she specializes in it way more than I do!
As far as I’m aware, nothing. That doesn’t mean I haven’t tried to reach out to Shark Tank, they just ignore my emails.
It took 25 min because I refused to accept their answers. We have rights as consumers.
This company thinks they are above the law when it comes to consumer affairs. Don’t take no for your refund fight it!
(ET, Sunday, February 24, 2019) – It was the most watched episode in Dragons’ Den history when sisters Anna and Samantha Martin won over the Dragons’ Den panel.
NOW THEY ARE USING DRAGONS DEN! THIS IS FAKE.
SAME PICTURE. Wow
I’ve been keto for almost 3 Years!! Suppliments are unnecessary if it’s done correctly.
I nearly fell for it but I’ve learned to do my research and came across your article and video. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah now it says “Keto Factor Forskolin” haha, see below.
Unreal, isn’t it?
Thankful I paid through PayPal and disputed the charges and got my money back. Too many people lose out because of this false advertising and not researching before they purchase.
If you call 1 800 481-0206 or 800 838-4926 you will get a real person and they will cancel the trial. It’s not easy.
But it can be done.
Claim to also be the most watched, every judge, 2.5 m
Also a scam. Basically if it has the word “Keto” in it and they are saying it was seen on Shark Tank, it’s a scam.
Thank you for the heads up. I didn’t believe it anyway
I did the trial offer and have been using it for about 1 1/2 weeks. I actually feel like its working to control my appetite and boost my energy level. What do you know about this one?
I need to cancel by 2/3/19 to avoid my credit card being charged. They lowered the price as well to $22.49 a month. Thoughts?
Yes I saw it advertise on a Facebook pop up. I know….was I suckered too?
Yeah it’s certainly possible that some of these products will actually do what they say they will. With that said, we simply just don’t agree with the marketing they’re using to pitch their products.
Totally up to you as to whether or not you should continue with it.
It sounds like you understand their billing procedures, and ultimately that’s what matters the most.
Then I saw this and knew it was fake and called right away and told them they are scammers and cancelled. Weird thing is they didn’t even argue with me.
Thanks so much for calling out these fake ads and hopefully saving people a lot of money!
The Sharks are much too smart to believe a product can produce all the results that these Super S Keto ads claimed!
Thanks.
Sorry for the late reply. Is there any chance you can send me a link to where exactly you saw that? Just paste it in the comments section below or email it to me using the contact form here.
Nothing could be done because of the T&Cs. I tried to ring numerous times and could not get an answer.
I finally got through in mid January and canceled the account. They offered 50% discount to not cancel.
I threw the tablets in the bin. Heaven knows what’s in them.
Every time I see any kind of advert, I immediately research it. Everyone should do that.
Doing that is what helped me find your post. I’ve seen the advertisement on a Skip-Bo card game app on my iPhone.
Thanks a bunch and keep up the good, sleuthing work!
I just ordered the “Keto” product….!?
Please tell me I’m not out all this money?? 🙁
Most of these Keto supplements will charge your card after 14 days, so you’re likely in the clear for now. Just mark your calendar 14 days and be sure you CALL TO CANCEL IT BEFORE the 14 days are up.
What’s the name of the supplement you ordered? I can help you find a phone number, but there’s about 10,000 supplements out there with the word “keto” in it.
Hope I’m not screwed!
I emailed them and requested my order be canceled. What else can I do
I would give them a call as well. They usually claim they never received the email, which is usually a lie.
Which product did you order?
I myself am mother of 2 just trying to expel that pesky left over belly fat from the kids 9mo appartment and I seen something being endorsed by dr Oz and this kept popping up about the brand change on shark tank and I then come across your beautiful research!! I thank you for your digging and examples shown. I wasn’t taken this time and I appreciate you and your team of exposers!
In the website below was their customer service!!
I don’t know if they are legit but I would be more than happy to document this journey so we can see a real live person from start to finish. Lmk if you want to follow too.

Or just reply to this comment. Looking forward to seeing how it goes!
Thanks for exposing this.
I just found on Instagram we’re they are peddling the same product.
Keto Advaned weight loss 800 mg and referencing the same girls and shark tank show.
Glad I could save you from a costly scam!
I plan on getting a full review of that one up soon, thanks for the heads up.
