Apparently, in a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show”, Will broke his silence on this supplement that literally doubled his IQ in minutes.

The name of that supplement is none other than Neuro 3X, a nootropic based supplement that claims it is the REAL Limitless pill….

This was also apparently featured in this “Discover Magazine” article, which talks all about how great this supplement is and even go’s through a testing phase with the editor, James Rickman. There’s ton’s of other supporting evidence that Neuro3X is the real deal, with references on Twitter from the official Limitless movie account, features in Forbes magazine, and even other celebrities who’ve “broken their silence” on this amazing pill.

Well, we did a bit of research and the truth was SHOCKING! Not only did Will not talk about this supplement in a recent interview, but the whole page is completely FALSE. Will Smith (as well as every other celebrity who’s cited) did NOT use this supplement…they simply used his name and likeness (illegally, of course) to sell more of their product.

More and more these days, we’re seeing these “articles” about how this latest supplement combination is taking the world by storm.

The articles will be on sites called something like “Men’s Life and Health”.

These sites are meant to fool you into thinking they’re legitimate magazines, but really they are just marketing ploys to sell these two “wonder supplements” together, because why sell you just one when they can sell you stack at twice the price?

One of the latest combinations I’ve seen is Pure Muscle Pro and Alpha Genix.

It was on Facebook,a dn the link took me to the fake magazine article, claiming to be what all the celebrities use to get ready for their next action films.

The funny thing is, it’s the same exact article that they use for all the other supplement combos.

They all say these were the products Gerard Butler used to get ready for 300. The funny thing is, these supplements probably didn’t even exist when Gerard Butler was filming 300. So ignoring the ridiculous marketing scheme, lets figure out if Pure Muscle Pro and Alpha Genix even work.

For me, that clinches the fact that this combo is BS, plain and simple.

They don’t even seem to care what information is out there and whether or not it’s true.

That’s an indication that these are companies you can’t trust and don’t want to deal with.

They didn’t even take the time to fact check themselves, so it makes you wonder what other key steps they decided to skip out on and whether or not it is worth the risk of finding out.

Both Pure Muscle Pro and Alpha Genixare only available through “free trial” offers online. You sign up to get what you think is a free trial, but it’s anything but.

You could walk through a supplement store and get a combo of vitamins and supplements and make your own stack for a fraction of the cost that would more than likely be twice as effective as either of these.

Neuro3x Review – Too Good to be True?

There was a movie a few years back called “Limitless”. You may have seen it.

It was about a guy who took a pill that made him crazy smart and super productive.

I may be a little fuzzy on the details but I think he wrote a novel in a night and made millions in the stock market the next day. It’s a movie, of course, but is there such a pill? Neuro 3x says there is.

This is a nootropic available on the internet that makes some pretty out there claims.

Let’s see, Neuro 3x:

  • Increases focus and concentration by 200%.
  • Increases your IQ by up to 77% in just minutes.
  • Boosts memory.
  • Improves intellectual skills.
  • Helps you efficiently store learned information.

If you think this all sounds a bit over-the-top, I agree with you.

There are nootropic supplements that can help improve your cognitive functioning, but the idea of a 77% improvement in IQ is a little ridiculous. So if you start out with an IQ of 100, Neuro 3x will make it 177.That’s higher than Einstein’s IQ!

So does Neuro 3X really work the way they say it does? Well, we recently got a chance to dive into everything there is to know about this supplement, read more below.

What Got You To This Review

While I was browsing through yahoo.com, I came across an ad that said Will Smith reveals the One key to a limitless mind. Intrigued (like many of you), I clicked on the ad and it took me to a page that seemingly looked like the Discover magazine website. (see below image)

On that page, it talks about a supposed interview with Will Smith that reports him saying he takes a brain booster that doubled his IQ in minutes. This so called “miracle pill” has been seen on CNN health, ABC News, and Men’s Health, and is apparently the “real life” limitless pill.

The editor of the story, who gos by the name of James Rickman, said he decided to take the supplement and evaluate it’s effectiveness. He chronicles his testing over a period of 3 – 4 weeks, and talks about the numerous benefits he saw from it. Improved clarity and focus, longer attention span, and an increased memory are all mentioned.

When you scroll around you will see comments towards the bottom where guys and girls are talking about taking Neuro 3X, and confirming the great results. Seems a bit fishy to me, so I decided to look into this alot further.

So What’s Our Problem With Neuro 3X?

When I dove into the nitty gritty details, I found some shocking evidence…Red Flag #1: there is no reporter at Discover magazine named James Rickman. I checked with them and they never heard of him, and certainly never heard of Neuro 3x. Also, this apparent article is not REALLY a Discover magazine article. I you try to click around on links in the article like “Brain Foods” or “Yoga”, it automatically redirects to the Neuro3X official website. Check out this screencast below:

You can’t even click on the social sharing icons like Facebook, Youtube, or Twitter, much less “subscribe” to their magazine.

Red Flag #2: Will Smith did not talk about taking any brain boosting supplement (including Neuro 3x) on the Tonight Show interview. I watched the entire 3:29 interview, and not once does he mention that he takes any supplement to help motivate him to work. Don’t believe me? Watch the youtube clip below:

As you can see, he never talks about any kind of supplement. I wonder if Mr. Smith knows his name is being used to promote this supplement???

Red Flag #3: As you will see in the image here, the Discover magazine article shows a tweet from the official Twitter account for the Limitless Movie. It clearly shows them thanking Neuro3X for the inspiration behind the movie.

However, if you visit the REAL official twitter page, you’ll see no mention of Neuro 3x on their March 19, 2011 tweet. Check it out below:

Red Flag #4: Within the supposed “Discover Magazine” article, they also mention that Neuro3X was given an honorary mention in Forbes printed and online magazine, touting it as a pill that can turn you into “the quickest thinker on the planet”. They even go so far as to call it “Viagra for the brain”. Here’s a quick screenshot of what they have posted below:

However, if you visit the REAL Forbes article online, there is absolutely no mention of Neuro 3X. They (whoever is advertising this) clearly photo shopped in the part about Neuro 3x being some “previously banned genius pill that is stronger, safer and more like to be banned again”!!

They did the same type of deception with a few other supplements, including Alpha ZXT.

Update – Now They’re Using Tony Robbins!!

So when I originally saw the first ad, it was just Will Smith. Now, as I browse through my Yahoo stories, I see that Tony Robbins now is touting this is the “ultimate secret to unlocking your mind and achieving laser like focus.” The storyline is relatively the same as the above, with them making claims that Neuro3X will increase concentration by up to 32% and skyrocket your IQ.

They quote Tony Robbins as saying “Neuro 3x has the potential to completely transform your life and future success.” While I can’t find any proof that he said this, my guess is it’s just as fictitious as the Will Smith ads, but with a different twist on it. Check out the ad below:

Neuro 3x Ingredients and How They Work

Crazy advertising schemes aside, we want to know if Neuro 3x works.

And one of the best ways to find out is to look at the formula, and give the product a shot. The ingredients on the label include St. Johns Wort, Glutamine, Phosphatidylserine complex, Bacopa Monnier, Acetyl L-Carnitine, DMAE Bitartrate, Gingko Biloba, and Vinpocetine. Let’s go over a few of these ingredients in detail, as well as their quantities, so you can see what you’re getting yourself into:

The primary ingredient in Neuro 3X, Phosphatidylcholine (125 mg), is said to stimulate the growth of new brain cells. It is also used as a naturopathic treatment for ADHD sufferers, as well as helping to prevent exercised-induced stress and improved athletic performance. (1)

St. Johns Wort has long been studied for its ability to help treat symptoms of depression, as well as its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. (2) Neuro 3X contains about 250 mg of Hypericum Perforatum, which is a very modest amount.

DMAE Bitartrate (50 mg), or just DMAE for short, is actually produced in the human brain, albeit at very low levels. DMAE was actually almost released as a medication for ADHD symptoms, but was later classified as a supplement because the substance is commonly found in fish.(3)

Gingko Biloba (50 mg) is a very popular supplement for men and women suffering from Alzheimer disease, and is said to help with short and long term memory. Not much is known exactly about how Ginkgo works, but some studies suggest it may be effective for patients with mild to moderate dementia. (4)

You should also avoid taking it if you are under the age of 18, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking ANY prescription medications.

Reviews Of Neuro3x On The Internet

I think it’s worth taking a few minutes talking about the various “reviews” and “testimonials” on the various websites I’ve been seeing out there. When I first wrote about Neuro 3X just a few weeks ago, I was surprised at the lack of “talk” I was seeing about this product. There was noone posting in any forums or discussion boards about the supposed benefits of this product, no Youtube video reviews from anyone, and certainly no legit reviews popping up.

Then, in the last couple of weeks or so, I noticed a common (and worrisome) trend starting to arise…I started seeing websites with names like “Neuro3xadvice.com” and “Musclegainhelp.com” start talking about the supposed benefits they got from taking this supplement. Here’s a quick blurb from one of them, who says he got a chance to test it out (verbatim):

“It is the my final opinion after the great description that this Neuro 3x is the magical supplement that increase cells production for brain performing and it make my mind cool and relax.

I am more wise and intelligent now with the using this Neuro 3x brain booster hence before use it I was very dull and was very upset due to my aggressive behavior, people often stay away from me and no one was like to talk me even I tried a lot to stay cool and positive but it was not in my control so I became too much irritated but after use this brain booster supplement my all the worries and irritations just disappear from my mind and now I am cool minded with the great power of decision so this Neuro 3x is the best supplement according to my opinion.”

WHAT….THE…F$%K IS THIS GUY TALKING ABOUT??? This was clearly, I mean CLEARLY, not written by someone in India….No, No, No, this was written by someone in the United States or some other native English speaking country accounting for his experience with Neuro 3x.

It’s almost quite comical that there are websites out there that are even like this, but it’s certainly not the first time I’ve seen this.

Youtube Videos of Neuro 3X

Finding credible Youtube Video reviews of Neuro 3X was also equally useless. EVERY, SINGLE, video I found was simply some weird sales type video with a bunch of graphics added to it, some eerie music added to the background, and photo clips taken off their website which made absolutely no sense at all. As you can see, even though these 2 videos are trying to pawn themselves off as “reviews”, they are nothing more then a big garbled sales pitch, if you even want to call it that. In fact, the only credible Youtube video I found was this guy below, who does a pretty good job of outing Neuro3X as a scam:

Frequently Asked Questions We Get About Neuro3X

How long is it supposed to take to start working?

That depends on who your asking…the ad that I saw said that Neuro3x is supposed to start working within minutes, even as much to say that it will boost your IQ 200% in an hour. If you go to their website though, it paints a completely different picture. They say that with continued use, you should start to see gradual effects from their supplement.

Is Neuro3X FDA approved?

No, and it doesn’t have to be. Because it’s a dietary supplement and not a pharmaceutical drug, Neuro3x falls outside of the realm of FDA compliance and testing, therefore, is not subject to scrutiny by the FDA.

Did Will Smith really use it?

Most likely NOT. I tried reaching out to Will Smith’s agent / publicist, but unfortunately could not get through. I only wish he (Will Smith) knew what was going on and helped to do something about it.

Do they offer any free trial / sample of their product?

At the time of this review, I could not find any evidence of a free trial or sample of Neuro 3X available. This is actually a GOOD THING, because typically these trials end up funneling you into a costly auto-rebill, auto-shipment program that may end up costing you hundreds of $$.

How do I take it?

The directions on the label state that you should take 1 capsule daily 30 min. before you morning meal with an 8 oz glass of water. They also recommend that you do not exceed 2 capsules per day.

Is Neuro3X anything like Adderall or Ritalin?

From my experience, it is in NO WAY an otc adderall equivalent. With adderall, the effect comes on quickly and you can feel it working within 15 min. or so. With Neuro 3X, as you can see from our testing below, it does not work even close to that.

Will it cause any side effects?

From our personal testing, Neuro 3X did not cause any side effects. However, if you read the label it does mention that you should discontinue use if you feel nausea, sleeplessness, or nervousness. It’s also recommended that if you are pregant, nursing, or if you have any known medical condition like hypertension, pre-hypertention, diabetes, cardiovascular disorder, heart disease, hypothyroidism, or are taking antidepressants that you refrain from using Neuro3X.

Was it really seen in the news?

I checked with the various news outlets that Neuro 3X claimed to be in, including CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and others, and NONE of them has ever heard of it. This was direct contact with the advertising agencies for these companies.

Our Personal Results – UPDATE 10/16/2014

We ordered a bottle of Neuro 3X last week (monday Oct. 6) and our product tester John has been trying it out for the last 7 days or so. Here’s his initial thoughts:

neuro3x review“I started taking Neuro3x about a week ago, and I have to say I don’t see any noticeable improvements in memory, focus, or concentration thus far. The directions on the label state that you should take 1 capsule 30 minutes before your morning meal, and I did just that. In the ad that Rob noted in his review, apparently this stuff is supposed to start working in minutes.

Well, I took the pill at exactly 8:00 am the first day, and then just waited…As the minutes ticked by, I wasn’t feeling any surge in energy or focus, not like I would with a prescription drug like Adderall. There wasn’t any sudden moments of clarity, and I wasn’t able to focus on my usual routine in a more productive way.

After about an hour or so, I DID start to feel a little bit different. I felt a small increase in my attention, and felt like I was thinking a little bit more clearly. It wasn’t anything “mind-bending”, and I certainly didn’t feel like my IQ had jumped 200%, but it was noticeable to the point that I could report feeling “different”. I don’t know if it was a placebo effect or what, but there was a noticeable change.

As far as side effects, I didn’t notice any, but the label does warn you to immediately discontinue use if you experience nausea, sleeplessness, or nervousness.

Does it really work?

If you’re looking for success stories from men who’ve used Addyzoa, you’re likely to come up short. Since I originally published this, we’ve only had 1 review posted.

Let’s face it. Youre interested in Addyzoa for it’s supposed increase in sperm benefits. It may work, but the bottom line is it’s not the only thing you can do to increase sperm production.

Here’s a few other helpful tips to get you started:

1.) Do Kegels / PC muscle exercises.

While there is no direct correlation between exercising the PC muscle and sperm production, doing these exercises WILL help you shoot loads much further. VERY important when trying to get pregnant.

2.) Try some other supplements.

Our biggest gripe with Addyzoa is it is clearly lacking some KEY ingredients that can help with sperm production. For example, the amino acids L-Carnitine, L-Lysine, and L-Arginine have both been shown to increase both sperm speed AND production.

3.) Drink Less

It has been clinically studied that drinking just 5 drinks per week can reduce the quality of your sperm. Most guys know this, but some don’t.

4.) Refrain from masturbation

The more times you have an orgasm / ejaculate, the less thick your sperm becomes. Limit masturbation to just once a week, and have sex more often.

5.) Improve your diet

Did you know that processed meats can actually be VERY bad for sperm count? Try to eat less processed foods, skip the cheeseburger, and eat more lean proteins like fish.

This product is sold and presented in a really straightforward manner on several different vitamin and supplement retailer sites.

But if you’ve ever used a diet pill before, this is probably a familiar description.

And you’ve likely been disappointed.

Ultimately, weight loss is a result of your efforts, and ideally, a weight loss supplement will help you along.

So, let’s look into Dexyfento see if it’s a good choice.

Dexyfen ReviewDexyfen Ingredients and How They Work

One very positive thing about Dexyfen that the ingredient profile is listed and explained.

Not only does that allow us to really know what’s in there, but it also engenders trust in the company.

With so many pills not even telling you what they’re made of, it’s nice that Dexyfen is not one of them.

So what is Dexyfen made of?

  • Thiamin which is also known as Vitamin B1. It helps convert fat, protein, and carbs to energy.

    It also contributes to a healthy metabolism, good digestion, and increased muscle tone.
  • Niacin which is also known as Vitamin B3. It helps the body convert carbs to energy, and it also increases blood flow throughout the body.
  • Caffeine which increases metabolism and gives you energy.

    Dexyfen contains about as much caffeine as 3 cups of coffee.

    This is actually quite a lot, and could cause side effects for some people.

    As a stimulant, caffeine also helps control your appetite.
  • Oryza Sativa Seed which is basically rice.

    It provides fiber which can reduce your appetite by making you feel fuller.
  • Mentha Haplocalyx Leaf which is a member of the mint family.

    It helps break down fat and acts as a diuretic to reduce water retention.
  • Zanthoxylum Piperitum which is a Japanese pepper that increases metabolism in the short term.
  • Pausinystalia Yohimbe which is a stimulant that can also burn fat.

    Yohimbe is a pretty controversial ingredient that can cause both mild and serious side effects, so you want to be careful.

    Unfortunately, Image Sports doesn’t reveal how much yohimbe is in Dexyfen, so it’s tough to tell what the effects will be just be knowing that it’s in there.

The recommended dose is one Dexyfen capsule per day taken before breakfast. (on an empty stomach).

They strongly recommend that you don’t take more than one Dexyfen pill per day.

  • You only have to take one pill per day which is much more convenient than a lot of other options.
  • It’s pretty affordable compared with a lot of alternatives.

Disadvantages of Dexyfen

  • When you look at all the Dexyfen reviews from customers available online, you’ll see that many many people have suffered side effects like a racing heartbeat, jitters, heart palpitations, tingling and/or burning skin, and anxiety.
  • The Dexyfen formula has so much caffeine that you really have to avoid ALL other caffeine sources, which is not realistic for a lot of people.

At least dozens use shilajit, but all shilajit is not PrimaVie. I found a couple options for you.

When you’re deciding on which herbal ingredients you want to include in your supplement routine, the question of how pure and potent those ingredients are rarely gets asked.That’s mainly because answers are difficult to find. But in the case of PrimaVie, we do know.

    Clinical studies have proven that Eurycoma Longifolia has the ability to release free testosterone, resulting in an increase in your t-levels.

    One added bonus you may notice is the sudden spike in libido.

Tribulus Terrestris

  • Another very popular testosterone-boosting ingredient, Tribulus Terrestris has been, and continues to be, a part of the diet of man since ancient times.

  • Another ingredient I’m always happy to see in any supplement, Bioperine does not boost testosterone; however, it does something just as important. Bioperine boosts the absorption and utilization of the nutrients that it is ingested with.

    It essentially turns any supplement into a super supplement, ensuring your body can utilize more of the ingredients, instead of just excreting most of it out.

    You always want to see this on any supplement you buy.

Bulbine natalensis

  • This is a relatively new ingredient on some testosterone boosters, but it’s sure to explode in the near future.

    Bulbine natalensis is native to Southern Africa and, like a few of the other ingredients on the list has been used as an aphrodisiac for a number of years. While some studies are still in progress, the ones that have been completed and released show great promise.

    One recent has shown that Bulbine natalensis promotes significant increases in anabolic and angrogenic processes in the body that could potentially result in a huge spike in testosterone.

    If the human trials are successful, you will be seeing this ingredient everywhere. (“Anabolic and androgenic activities of Bulbine natalensis stem in male Wistar rats” 2010. Para. 1)

MaxGenics also contains a few key vitamins that are important for testosterone production such as Zinc and Vitamin B12.

The recommended dose is two MaxGenics capsules a day with food.

They also recommend that you follow a healthy diet and exercise program to achieve best results.

The website does include a money back guarantee. It’s good for three months.

You simply call and tell them you were not satisfied.

According to what we’ve heard, they honor the guarantee easily, without a lot of questions.

Conclusion

MaxGenics is an average testosterone boosting supplement.

It only feature two proven testosterone boosters with a plethora of libido boosters.

For the ingredients you are getting, the price of $50 for a one month supply is pretty high.Something along the lines of $30 to $35 would be more reasonable.Despite the ingredients, the paid review is a bit unsettling.

It makes you truly question the integrity of the company that supposedly operates by five superior principles. Case in point: There are other, far superior testosterone boosters out there.

The fact that it contains the soon-to-be very popular Bulbine natalensis is the only reason I would recommend this supplement.

If you can snag a bottle for $20 cheaper than what they are selling it for, I’d say give it a try.Otherwise, look elsewhere.

BPI Sports has a reputation for making hardcore bodybuilding supplements, and BPI Sports A-HD is no exception.

BPI refers to it as a stimulant based testosterone-boosting supplement that you can feel right away.

The focus of the supplement is to increase your testosterone levels while blocking its conversion to estrogen. BPI claims that this is the product to take if you want to get that shredded, hard, dry cut look.

So what’s in this stuff exactly and does it live up to its promises?

BPI Sports A-HD Ingredients and How They Work

BPI Sports A-HD comes in both powder and capsule form, and it is meant to be used as a daily supplement.

The BPI Sports A-HD formula contains a number of ingredients in its proprietary blend including:

  • Typically grown and pressed for the vegetable oil contained within, Safflower Seed is a high protein, high fat food.

    Studies suggest that it is more anti-estrogenic than a direct testosterone booster.

    Similar to pumpkin and hemp seeds, Safflower helps block the production of estrogen within the body.

    What’s more, studies with mice have shown that Safflower has the ability to boost libido.

    That same study showed that the testosterone levels of the mice were barely affected.

    While it does not play a direct role in encouraging your testosterone levels to increase, it is a valuable ingredient for its anti-estrogenic properties.

Flax Seed (Linum Usitatissimum)

  • Healthy as it may be, for a man with low levels of testosterone, Flax Seed is not a food that you want to add into your diet.

    Flax Seed is used heavily as an alternative method to block the conversion of testosterone into DHT.

    You’ll see it being prescribed to men who are experiencing inflammation with the prostate or coming out of prostate surgery.

    While this sounds great, keep in mind that you need DHT to keep your estrogen in check.

    If you’re already suffering from low testosterone, then there’s a good chance your estrogen levels may be high as well.

    Preventing DHT from doing what it does best (blocking estrogen production) is not a wise move. Flax Seed has no place in a testosterone booster.

Ginger Root (Zingiber Officianale)

  • There’s simply nothing bad to said about the Ginger Root.

    It’s been used for centuries for a number of medical ailments.

    It can improve your digestions, increase circulation, boost cognitive function, and, lucky for you, it can also boost testosterone. Ginger has been the subject of much study and for men, it plays an important role in aiding the body with the stabilization and production of testosterone.

    While human trials are still pending, studies performed with mice had very favorable outcomes.

    Despite the lack of human studies, Ginger Root has so many additional benefits that it is a must-have on anyone’s dietary list. (“Stereological study of the effect of ginger’s alcoholic extract on the testis in busulfan-induced infertility in rats” 2013. Para. 1)

Indian padauk (Pterocapus Marsupian)

  • You will find this ingredient being tested on rats for diabetic research and metabolic conditioning. You’ll even find it in shampoo.

    You’re going to have trouble finding it in a study dealing directly with its ability to boost testosterone.

    However, even though studies are lacking in proving Pterocapus Marsupian as a direct testosterone enhancer, let’s not overlook its role with the production of insulin.

    Studies have found that low testosterone levels directly correlate with higher levels of insulin resistance in men. Pterocapus Marsupian has been shown in studies to help regenerate cells responsible for producing insulin. It is possible that by encouraging proper production of insulin in the body, Pterocapus Marsupian may play a positive role in the boosting testosterone levels.

Turmeric (Curcuma Longa)

  • It makes your dinner taste great and it is one of the most anti-estrogenic foods around.

    Turmeric, a common spice in many Indian dishes, is an anti-inflammatory and a powerful anti-oxidant that has been used as an alternative medicine for centuries throughout many cultures.

    Outside of the laundry list of additional benefits that Turmeric can provide, studies show that it helps to block the production of estrogen in the body.

    This is one serious anti-estrogenic spice, capable of supporting healthy testosterone levels in the body.

Cardoon (Cynara Scolymus)

  • Found in the same family as the artichoke family, Cardoon is another ingredient on the list that turns up few results when you try delving deeper for information.

    It was part of a study testing the efficiency of a botanical blend on sex hormones.

    The results showed little impact on estrogen and an overall decrease in testosterone and DHT.

    Again, this was a blend and Cardoon was not the sole ingredient.
  • One thing to consider is that Cardoon is a part of the artichoke family and the artichoke has been considered a testosterone friendly, libido boosting food. While studies are lacking to prove Cardoon as a natural testosterone booster, it should be comforting to know that it comes from a long line of testosterone supporting vegetables.

Propolis (Caffeic acid phenethyl ester)

  • Anything that bees touch seems to instantly become a super food and Propolis is no different.

    Collected from the sap of trees, Propolis is used within the hive to seal up open spaces.

    Taken as a daily supplement, Propolis can boost the immune system as it acts as an anti-microbial and anti-oxidant.

    It’s also used to treat allergies. One thing that animal studies have shown is that Propolis is capable of increasing testosterone levels.

    Again, this was confirmed in studies on rats.

    If this were any other ingredient, I would suggest discrediting the animal lab results, but seeing as how this is a product of the honey bee, I would consider giving it a try.

    Plenty of human studies have shown the long list of benefits of raw honey and bee pollen. With animal studies under its belt and the history of bee ingenuity, I’d say this is one ingredient that could be useful for overall wellbeing as well as testosterone support.

The BPI Sports A-HD formula also includes Yohimbe for its stimulant properties; however, they also have a version that is Yohimbe free.

For those of you who are not aware, Yohimbe is a powerful stimulant that is used in hundreds of supplements ranging from pre-workout boosters to male enhancers.

As a stimulant, there is always the risk of side effects for those who are sensitive to it.

Be sure to consult with your physician prior to using it.

Instructions are to take one scoop mixed with 4-8 ounces of water or juice in the morning on a full stomach.

It is recommended that you cycle it on for 4 to 8 weeks before taking a 4-week cycle off.

For the capsule version, you’re supposed to take 1 pill daily, typically in the morning as well.

BPI Sports A-HD Pros and Cons

Advantages

  • A majority of the ingredients in the blend are testosterone friendly, if not a proven testosterone booster
  • The product is priced well
  • The company has a long standing history and a number of favorable reviews

Disadvantages

  • The presence of a known ingredient considered to be a phytoestrogen
  • It was difficult to find data and research on a few of the ingredients
  • Reviews are mixed on this particular product

A-HD Vs A-HD Elite

Recently, BPI came out with a new and improved version of A-HD called A-HD Elite.

This formula is surprisingly different, and contains the following ingredients

Montanoa tomentosa

  • Found in the mountains of Mexico and Central America, Montanoa tomentosa has been shown to have aphrodisiac properties on male rats.

Chenopodium album

  • Used as a natural ecological pest control, this ingredient has no evidence backing it up as a testosterone booster.It is sometimes used in thermogenic or fat burning supplement as an appetite suppressant.

Caesalpinia benthamiana

  • This African herb has been used as a libido booster and an aphrodisiac for many years.

    Research studies are just now catching up.

    While it was positively tested on rats, many people swear by this ingredient to boost their bedroom performance.

Curcuma Longa

  • I can only say great things about Turmeric.

    Refer to the review of this ingredient above for full details.

Trichopus Zeylanicus

  • Used in India as an alternative medicine, Trichopus Zeylanicus has been shown, in animal studies, to be a powerful aphrodisiac.

You can pick up BPI Sports A-HD at GNC or online through a variety of different retailers. The 28 serving tub sells for about $27 through most of the retailers I found.It comes in fruit punch and watermelon flavors.

If you want to avoid the hassle of mixing, you can pick up a bottle of the capsules for slightly less at Bodybuilding.com for a price of $24.

As for the BPI Sports A-HD Elite, you can find that on the BPI website, as well as on the same retailers listed above. The price is comparable to the original, depending on the serving size.

Conclusion

My biggest reservation with A-HD are a few of the ingredients.It would be nice if hard facts and research could be found on these ingredients.

Instead, your left to make associations to plants in the same family that have shown promise.

The worst offender on the ingredient list is Flax Seed as this is a known pro-estrogen compound, used to block the conversion of DHT. Still, even with these little hiccups, I believe that A-HD is worth a try.

For a one-month supply, you can’t beat the price compared with other testosterone supporters.

You could go to the trouble of isolating those ingredients and buying them separately, but if you’d rather save yourself the trouble, go with A-HD.

As for the new and improved version (A-HD Elite), I would NOT recommend this formula.

It’s an overpriced supplement that has the sole claim of being an aphrodisiac, based solely on animal studies.

If you’re looking to boost your testosterone, Elite is not worth your money.

If you’re looking to boost your performance in the bedroom, Elite is still NOT worth it.
