What The 5G Male Video Was All About

Note:  If you’ve already watched the video and just want to know if 5G Male works, click here.

When I started researching 5G Male, it didn’t take long to get the idea that this stuff uses a sort of old school, unsophisticated marketing that I haven’t seen much of in a while, but used to be very popular.

It was almost refreshing in its unabashed in-your-face hard sell, complete with a 76 year old male porn star surrounded by two young female starlets. The 76 year old is a Dave Cummings, who calls himself the “oldest active pornstar”. He didn’t get started in the industry until he retired from the Army after 20+ years, and at this point, he’s well known in the industry for his sexual stamina.

5G Male Dave Cummings ImageThe official 5G Male website is dominated by a very long video presentation that starts out with Dave Cummings telling his story of how he came to dominate the industry well into his 50s, then moves on to 5G Male’s head researcher, Ryan Masters, talking more explicitly about the 5G Male product.

The story is that while Dave was fighting for the US Army in Vietnam, he was eating a lot of a Vietnamese dish called Xao Toi, and he noticed the sexual benefits he got from it. He had strong hard erections, and more importantly, they lasted and lasted… and so did he. He took note of the 5 main ingredients in the dish, and has been using them ever since to bolster his renown abilities.

Working with Dave, Ryan Masters and his company called Supernatural Man, created 5G Male using those “secret ingredients”. The result, they say, is a sexual performance supplement that surpasses all others in it’s ability to get you hard and keep you there, even if you’re an aging porn star who’s job depends on it.

5G Male Ingredients

So what are these 5 ingredients, and how do they work together to boost your sexual prowess?

5G Male Ingredients Image

You’ll find many of these ingredients in dozens of the best erection pills on the market.

The original formula includes:

 • Garlic which is rich in an ingredient called Allicin that improves blood flow to the genitals, creating better, longer-lasting erections and better sensitivity. The biggest drawback is, of course, the smell, which gets addressed in the updated version, 5G Male Plus.
 • Ginseng which can increase blood flow as well, but more importantly, it boosts libido and helps your body respond appropriately to physical stress, allowing you to maintain the erection once you achieve it. There are also studies demonstrating that Ginseng increases sperm count, which in addition to fertility support, can lead to more intense orgasms.
 • Ginkgo Leaves which can increase the effectiveness of nitric oxide when it comes to opening up blood vessels and allowing increased blood to flow through and sustain your erection.
 • Ginger which again, increases blood flow to the genitals to help achieve and maintain your erection.
 • Green Tea which has multiple health benefits including antioxidants and the strengthening of blood vessels, and the reduction of inflammation.

These are the original ingredients – the 5 Gs in 5G Male. Since then, the formula has been upgraded to 5G Male Plus.

5G Male Plus Ingredients ImageChanges include:

 • The addition of Vitamin C, which boosts immune function and increases the effectiveness of the other formula components.
 • The switch to American Ginseng which is thought to be more healthy overall.
 • The choice to use Odorless Garlic so your pores don’t ooze the unattractive smell.
 • The addition of Rhodiola Rosea which is known as a powerful adaptagen. It allows your body to respond better to mental stress and fatigue, which could otherwise hinder your relations.

The Supernatural Man crew boasts that all ingredients in the 5G Male formula come from the most reputable sources and are handled by experts only in an FDA approved facility.

Where to Buy

5G Male is sold online through its official website. If you search for it in Google, you’ll get hits for tons of blog and review websites written by guys who’ve supposedly used the stuff and loved it. These testimonials may or may not be true, but the fact is they exist to funnel customers to the official 5G Male website where they see the Dave Cummings/Ryan Masters video and buy the product.

A one month supply of 5G Male costs $69.95, but that’s just one of the 3 packages you can choose. There’s the 3 month supply for $179 and the 6 month supply for $317 with free shipping.

You’ll need to be careful of the 3 month supply, which they say is the most popular:

5G Male packages Image

The default with the 3 month package is the 90 Day Auto-Ship option. This means that every 90 days, they will ship you another 3 month supply and charge you $179 plus shipping for it. You can choose to opt out of this, but it’s not uncommon for customers to miss the fact that they are choosing this. When this happens, they get a shock 3 months later when the unknown charge shows up on their credit card bill.

In fact, I searched everywhere for further information on the details of the autoship program, yet couldn’t find any. This may have changed if I had put in my credit card details – which I did not do – but you shouldn’t have to provide payment information before knowing all the details of your potential order.

If you try 5G Male and find it effective, the Auto-Ship plan may be exactly what you want, but it would be much better if they were more upfront about it so customers don’t get caught off guard and end up paying repeatedly for something it turns out they don’t want anymore.

5G Male Image 15G Male Bonuses

The 5G Male product comes with several bonuses, 7 ebooks and videos to be exact:

 • The 5G Enhancement Bible which includes tips, tricks, and techniques to improve erections and increase size.
 • The Multiplier Method which is a 5-minute workout to improve performance and burn fat.
 • The XXL Formula which contains exercises and diet guidelines to increase size.
 • Magic Words That Drive Her Wild which contains all the best “dirty talk” lines that’ll have her eating out of the palm of your hand.
 • The “Text to Sex” Course with the exact messages to send with the exact words that will have her begging for sex when you both get home.
 • Female Confessions which is a set of video confessions from women about what they really want. Knowing women’s secret fantasies and how to fulfill them is a sure fire way to give you an advantage.
 • Become Supernatural: Extreme Sexual Performance Secrets which is a membership program that includes Playboy Radio host Jessica J sharing the secrets of the hottest women. 5G Male gives you a 3 month subscription for free. After that, it’s $19.98 a month if you choose to continue. (They don’t specify if the subscription continues automatically or you have to re-up, which is a little concerning, considering all the free trial scams that automatically trigger ongoing monthly billing).

5G Male offers a 90-day money back guarantee, and freely displays its contact phone number and email address on the order page.

5G Male Reviews

Depending on how you look at it, there are either lots of 5G Male reviews from customers… or none at all.

See, there are plenty of review websites that are set up as though they’re unsolicited customer feedback, but really they’re a marketing strategy. On those review pages, there are several links that take you straight to the 5G Male where you can place an order.

Let Me Explain A Bit Here…

Let’s take the very first result that shows up when you run a search for 5g male reviews on Google.

5g male fake review

At first glance, this looks like it might be somewhat of an impartial review.

It’s not until you land on the review itself that it’s pretty clear these guys are simply trying to sell the product.

I mean, there’s ads for 5G male sprinkled all over the page.

5g male ad gotham

That’s the real goal of these sites, not to inform, but to funnel customers. This isn’t to say that the reviewers haven’t used the product. I don’t know if they have or haven’t. It just means that selling 5G Male – not informing the public about it – is their primary function.

But what we don’t see is any unsolicited, independent customer feedback, which is a shame because that can be really useful.

I should highlight a particularly sketchy (though not uncommon) move here on the part of 5G Male and Supernatural Man. At the top of there website, they claim to be “Certified As Secure & Trustworthy By the Leading Companies”:

5G Male Business Verification Image

But I checked with the Better Business Bureau, and not only does Supernatural Man NOT have an A+ rating. They don’t even have a file with the agency:

5G Male BBB No File Image

5G Male and Supernatural Man are not the first product and company to say they’ve been sanctioned by organizations or showcased on media outlets. It happens all the time actually. But that doesn’t take away the fact that it’s shady and it can be damaging to the company’s reputation.

5G Male Pros and Cons

Advantages of 5G Male

 • The ingredients are all natural.
 • It comes with several bonuses
 • Your purchase is covered by a 90 day money back guarantee.

Disadvantages of 5G Male

 • We found no real, independent, customer feedback about how actual users feel about 5G Male.
 • You have to be careful when ordering that you know what you’re signing up for – you may end up with future charges you weren’t counting on.
 • They claim to be endorsed by the Better Business Bureau, but the BBB has no record of the company or product.

The Bottom Line

My feelings on 5G Male are somewhat mixed. It’s not the best product I’ve seen by any means, but it’s not awful, and it’s not particularly scammy either.

While a lot of their claims are a little bit too good to be true and definitely are an exaggeration, it is not to the point of a full on scam and the product itself really can yield some somewhat good results.

Despite the testimony of Dave Cummings, 5G Male looks like a pretty mediocre performance enhancing formula. Most of the ingredients are geared toward increasing blood flow for great erections, but the truth is there are better ingredients for that than Garlic and Ginger, like L-Arginine for instance. I like the 90 day money back guarantee, and I’m sure there’s some value to the 7 bonuses that come with your order.

If 5G Male has caught your interest, I see no reason why you shouldn’t try it. Just pay attention during the ordering process to make sure you don’t sign up for any autoship payment plans you don’t want. And if you don’t find it to be all you’d hoped, make sure you contact them for a refund.

At the end of the day, when there is a huge spread of reviews ranging from horrid to glowing accompanied by bold language and wild claims, caution should be exercised and red flags should be at least slightly raised.

Pros and Cons
Conclusion

When you think of a pill to improve your sex life, you probably think of Viagra – the little blue pill that changed everything back in the 1990s.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp
Yep, I’m talking about that little blue pill.

But since its introduction over 20 years ago, a lot has changed.

Once improving your sexual performance became an actual possibility as opposed to pure fantasy, supplement companies got to work trying to create natural formulas to mimic the Viagra effect.

I’ve tested a HUGE amount of over the counter viagra alternatives over the years, too many to count.

viagra alternatives I've personally tested

To some extent, many of them actually do work.

There are plenty of natural supplements on today’s market for improving your sex life.

They can boost your libido, help you get a stronger erections, help you last longer, and help you ready to go again sooner.

Obviously, these are all great benefits, but there’s one thing often missing in the natural supplement world – speed of action. Many effective sexual performance supplements like Vigrx Plus, Vydox, and Extenze are designed to be taken every day.

virectin vs vigrx plus
Pills like Vigrx Plus take several weeks / months to fully kick in.

The ingredients build up in your system, and work gradually over time. After a few weeks or so, you’re feeling more sexual, your erections come more easily, and you regain some of the confidence you may have lost over the years.

And that’s great, but a lot of guys don’t want to wait a few weeks, and they don’t want to have to remember to take a pill every day. These guys have had a much more difficult time being served by the natural supplement market.

But according to Red Fortera, those days are over.

red fortera reviews

Guys who want the take-only-as-needed, works in under an hour, solution, but want it to be natural, can use Red Fortera.

How I Learned About The “I Take Red” Pill

I came across it when I got a random phone call from a 1-800 number I didn’t recognize.

If you want to listen to it, here it is:

The voicemail went like this:

Hey it’s me. I totally have to tell you about my weekend with John. You have to call me on Friday we left and we got that was really great really romantic and everything else and you know he says and I’m gonna take Red.  And I’m like, ‘your gonna take red?’ and he’s like ‘yeah I’m gonna take red’.  I had no idea what he was talking about. So he takes this, you know where we’re having a couple drinks and he takes this little red pill and you know we’re talking a little bit because in a little bit. Things are getting that you know we got to it and when I tell you it was amazing! I could not believe that he took the pill but I could totally feel the difference it made. I mean it made a big difference huge. It was huge! It just felt really crazy so I have to tell you all about it. And the best part about it is that we were away the whole weekend he only took that one pill. It lasted the whole time and needless to say we never made it out the bedroom. So give me a call when you can. We have to talk about this. It’s crazy so just tell him that you want him to take red and I actually have a phone number that you can call to get it. It’s 1-800-711-4987. Give a phone number tell him to call he has got to take Red. It is amazing. Okay, bye.

Interesting, but something seemed fishy about it.

First off, I ran a google search for the phone number, and it seems there’s been a few other guys that have gotten this ‘accidental voicemail’.

i take red voicemail

I tried calling the number and an operator answered “Thanks for calling Next Gen Health solutions”.

I googled that name, and sure enough they’re the company behind Red Fortera.

next gen health solutions

Then I was watching TV late one night and this infomercial popped up:

Ok, now I REALLY gotta check this thing out.

Of course, we’ve seen this claim lots of times before, and more times than not, it turns out to be little more than wishful thinking. So we dug deep into the claims, benefits, ingredients, customer feedback, customer service, and company reputation of Red Fortera.
[/areaonpage]

What is Red Fortera?

Taking its cue from Viagra’s nickname of “the little blue pill,” Red Fortera calls itself the “little red pill”.

red pill red fortera

They make alot of the same claims that you see with other fast acting male enhancement supplements, including:

 • Bigger, Longer-lasting erections on demand
 • Surge in sex drive and energy
 • Increased sexual confidence

According to them, one pill will start working in 30 minutes on the nose.

I mean, it says that right on the front of the package.

red fortera works in 30 minutes

If it works, this is potentially the biggest draw for Red Fortera.

In addition to the quick results, there are two benefits Red Fortera is particularly proud of:

 1. You can use it with alcohol.

According to the official website, Red Fortera can be used with alcohol, but the wording of this claim is strange and a bit confusing.

Red Fortera Alcohol Claims Image

On one hand, it states not to drink alcohol within 30 minutes of taking the pill. On the other hand, they say you don’t have to worry about such things anymore. It seems they want you to feel comfortable drinking while using Red Fortera, but they also want to cover themselves legally in case anything goes wrong.

Related Article:  4 BEST Male Enhancement Pills You Can Take With Alcohol

It’s a pretty clear example of hedging, as far as I can tell.

2.  The effects are long lasting

According to them, the effects can last up to 72 hours.

how long does red fortera last

This is a good thing because, as we’ll get into a little more later, Red Fortera is expensive.

But first, let’s take a hard look at the formula as a first step toward determining whether or not it can fulfill its promise.

Red Fortera Ingredients

The website lists and explains each of the ingredients in the formula, and provides an image of the label as well.

red fortera ingredients label

However, what it says on the label and what they list on their official site are a bit confusing and contradictory.

For example, you see the ingredients listed on the label above, right?

No, take a look at the ingredients listed on their official website.

conflicting info on the red fortera site

They’re missing several of the ones they are showing on the label, including:

 • Kre-Celazine
 • Theobromine
 • Cayenne Pepper
 • Theophylline

Given these ingredients are not as important as some of the ones missing on the website, but it would be helpful if they listed ALL of them.

The Exact Breakdown of Red Fortera

Unfortunately, the exact information regarding ingredient amounts is only available for 2 of the formula components. The rest are lumped together into a proprietary blend, hiding those important individual amounts.

Here’s what we know:

 • Niacin (80mg) (aka Vitamin B3, aka Nicotonic Acid). Niacin provides what’s known in the business as the “niacin flush”. It triggers a quick release of histamine in the body, which opens up blood vessels, sending blood rushing through your body, including to just beneath the surface of your skin. Some find it slightly uncomfortable – especially if they’re taken off-guard by it – while others find it exhilarating. It mimics the rush of histamine that occurs during arousal and climax, so it supports sexual excitement in that way as well. 80 mg, however, is a low dose compared to what’s been studied to improve erectile dysfunction.
 • Zinc (25mg). Zinc is commonly used in both sexual performance enhancers and natural testosterone boosters. It’s been found to be crucial to the chemical reaction in the body that produces testosterone. (Source)

The 545 mg Proprietary Blend containing:

 • Korean Ginseng which is believed to boost several aspects of sexual performance, including libido and erectile function.
 • Tribulus Terrestris which is thought to improve erections due to its ability to increase natural testosterone. (Source)
 • L-Arginine which, as a pre cursor to nitric oxide, can widen blood vessels, allowing more blood to flow toward your genitals for better erections.
 • Maca Root Powder which is known to be a very powerful natural aphrodisiac.
 • L-Tyrosene which is used in stress reduction supplements and has been shown in mice to improve erectile function.
 • Octacosanol which is chemically similar to Vitamin E, the “sex vitamin”.
 • Cinnamon which may lower blood sugar levels, which can increase libido in women, and may improve blood low for better erections.
 • Gingko Biloba which supports circulation for better blood flow and better erections.
 • Yohimbe Bark which is known to be both an aphrodisiac and an erectile dysfunction aid. It works most similarly to the way Viagra works, in addition to opening up blood vessels and working as a central nervous system stimulant.

It’s not a bad formula on the face of it, but I have a couple comments to note.

1. The Arginine Dose is TOO SMALL

L-Arginine can be a very effective supplement to improve erections.  However, in order to be effective, WebMD recommends doses in the 3-5 gram range.

l arginine dose for ed

In Red Fortera, it’s the third ingredient in the 545 mg proprietary blend. This means there’s probably not more than a 100 or so milligrams. This isn’t going to get you very far.

2. Yohimbe Works, But Has MAJOR Side Effects

Yohimbe Bark can be a very effective aid, but it can also come with side effects, including:

 • Dizziness
 • Headaches
 • Nausea
 • Drooling
 • Increased blood pressure
yohimbe side effects infographic
Source: WebMD.com

This is probably not much of an issue in this case, again because of the low dosage.

It’s the last ingredient in a small proprietary blend, so you’re likely to be safe, but you’re also likely not to gain much benefit.

Clinical Study

One unique factor in Red Fortera’s favor is that the company that manufactures it has commissioned an independent clinical study of the formula.

Lots of supplements point to clinical studies of a couple of their primary ingredients, but most do not have studies of their actual complete formulas conducted.

Let’s take a look at the findings.

Study Details Summary

It was a 7 week randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled trial using healthy adult males, though they do not specify how many. Results were as follows:

 • 18% improvement in partners’ self reported sexual satisfaction rating, which is 26% higher than those who’s partners were taking the placebo.
 • 13% improvement in the subjects’ own self reported arousal rating.
 • 12% improvement in erectile quality and performance.

Additionally, no safety issues or adverse events were reported by the participants.

As with the formula, I have a few comments of note on this clinical trial:

1.  They don’t mention how many subjects participated in the trial.

This is important to know as a trial of 10 participants is a lot less illuminating than a trial with 1000 participants.

2.  The numbers don’t reflect very significant improvements.

3.  They don’t provide detailed information on the study or a link to view the study results directly.

Instead, they provide basically the bullet points they want to highlight. This is understandable from a marketing point of view, but not so much from the standpoint of providing results of a clinical trial.

Red Fortera Side Effects

We’ve already talked about the “niacin flush” that you might experience when taking Red Fortera, but beyond that, I wouldn’t expect there to be any adverse effects. Like we mentioned earlier, Yohimbe has the potential to cause side effects, the amount present would appear to be low enough as to not be an issue.

Red Fortera Reviews

Red Fortera is sold on Amazon.com, which means Amazon reviews.  In fact, there’s 109 of them at last count.

The first thing we noticed about these is that the bulk of the reviews are either 5-Stars or 1-Star:

red fortera reviews on amazon breakdown

Most of the 5-Star reviews are short and sweet, simply stating in so many words that Red Fortera works:

Red Fortera Amazon 5 star reviews image

Though one spelled it out very clearly and precisely:

Red Fortera Big 5 star review image

The same is true of the 1-Star reviews, where most of them are very succinct:

Red Fortera 1-star reviews

The sharp divide makes it tough to know what to believe, although I have this nagging suspicion that many of the 5 star reviews are fabricated.

One of the classic signs of fake Amazon reviews are BIG disparities in the ratio of good and bad reviews.

With that said, the website Fakespot.com (which analyzes Amazon reviews for authenticity), grades the Red Fortera listing on Amazon a B.

red fortera rating on Fakespot

Of course this doesn’t mean that the rating couldn’t be “gamed”, but it certainly lends some credibility in Red Forteras’ favor.

Where to Buy Red Fortera

Red Fortera is primarily available through its official website, and there are several packages to choose from. The one at the top of the list is the “Free Trial”.

Red Fortera Try It Free Image

If you sign up for this package, they’ll send you 1 capsule for the price of shipping, but there’s a catch. Trying Red Fortera for free automatically signs you up for monthly autoshipping of 6 capsules at a price of $79.99 per month. This is also true if your original order is 3 capsules for $39.99.

Red Fortera Free Trial Terms

How do I cancel my order?

They don’t lay out the procedure for canceling your monthly shipments, but the website does list their customer service number as 1-800-908-6213, and they profess to have a 30 day money back guarantee as long as you’re willing to ship the product back to them at your own cost.

If you don’t want to sign up for ongoing shipments, you have two ordering options. You can order one capsule straight up for $15, or you can order 6 capsules straight up for $89.99 (this package comes with free shipping).

If you want, you can order Red Fortera from Amazon.com as well. They sell a box of 4 capsules for $39.99.

This all adds up to being a pretty expensive male enhancement supplement no matter which way you slice it.

Red Fortera is NOT sold in stores like GNC, Walmart, Walgreens, or CVS, so don’t bother looking there.

Who Makes Red Fortera?

The company behind the product is called Next Gen Health Solutions, headquartered in New Rochelle, NY.

There’s not much information available about them online. According to the Better Business Bureau, they’ve been in business since spring 2015. They currently have an “F” rating, apparently due to 3 unaddressed customer complaints.

next gen health solutions llc BBB rating

Unfortunately, the complaint details are not available.

Consequently, we’d share them here if they were.

It seems to me that some customers were caught off guard by the monthly charges, and had difficulty getting them stopped.

Of course, this is just a guess.

With that said, we get similar complaints about similar setups from our readers all the time.

Red Fortera Pros and Cons

Advantages of Red Fortera

 • The ingredients are all natural.
 • They have performed a clinical study on the product.
 • There’s a money back guarantee.
 • It contains ingredients that have been known to be effective.

Red Fortera Disadvantages

 • The ingredient amounts are likely too low to be very effective.
 • Some customers may get caught up in the free trial/monthly auto-shipment trap.
 • Customer feedback on Red Fortera is very hot and cold, which makes it tough to get any guidance there.
 • The company has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau.
 • It’s expensive.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Red Fortera formula doesn’t stand out as particularly good or bad. It’s very much like dozens of others we’ve tested. That means there’s a decent chance that you’ll derive some small benefit from using it.

That said, this product claims to work almost instantly. You may get the “Niacin Flush” we discussed earlier, but that is probably the only immediate result you’ll notice.

Of course you should do your homework and make sure that you are not allergic to anything inside Red Fortera, but its low risk for side effects and interactions makes it seem like a safe bet to add to your supplement regiment.

In fact, the Red Fortera formula is much more like that of a daily pill, one that can produce its best results over time. But at a cost of $15 a pill, the cost of taking this stuff every day is prohibitive.

Bottom line, does it work?

In a nutshell, this product will likely NOT give you the immediate results they claim.

Furthermore, it’s too expensive to use every day, which would be your best shot at any real results. Those two factors taken together form the one big reason Red Fortera does not get our recommendation.

The need to push oneself to productivity has really driven people to find ways to enhance their focus and concentration to allow them to do more and accomplish for within a day.

It’s really no surprise that wakefulness promoting drugs like Modafinil have become the go-to drug for a lot of people who need to fight off fatigue and stay focused for longer hours.

Adrafinil, another wakefulness promoting drug which happens to be quite related to Modafinil, has grown in popularity as well. Lots of people opt for Adrafinil for its accessibility for the same reasons why others would take Modafinil.

It’s no surprise that people easily confuse the two.

Considering that they both have the same functions, how do the two compare to each other?

Off-label, it is used as a cognition enhancement agent because its primary effect involves the promotion of wakefulness.

Modafinil comes under brand names like Alertec, Provigil, and Modavigil, and is classified as a schedule IV controlled drug.

Getting one therefore requires a prescription from a doctor.

Most people would think of Modafinil as an alternative to caffeine or amphetamines, but without the usual jitters.

Of course, they must be taken with the proper dosage and have shown their own fair share of side effects as well.

What is Adrafinil?

adrafinil reviewWhile Adrafinil became popular after Modafinil, the two were created roughly the same era. Adrafinil, however, was developed during the early 1970s, when it was first developed and marketed in France to elderly patients to help manage their attention, mood, and focus. (Source: 2
)

It pretty much promotes wakefulness as well.

It was sold under the brand name Olmifon until it was discontinued in 2011 because the drug took a while to take effect – roughly 45 minutes on an empty stomach – compared to its alternatives.

Adrafinil was also regulated as a prohibited drug for athletes, and it was also classified as a prescribed type of medication because of its potential for being used as a party drug.

Adrafinil, however, is more widely available for purchase online compared to its alternatives.

A notable characteristic of Adrafinil, however, is that it is a pro-drug for Modafinil. This means that Adrafinil is taken and is them metabolized into Modafinil by the liver, resulting in the same effect.

This explains why Adrafinil takes longer to have any effect and will normally require stronger doses to be as effective as its counterparts.

What is Armodafinil?

armodafinilPeople who have been using Modafinil and/or Adrafinil will surely have heard of Armodafinil as well.

More known under the brand name Nuvigil, Armodafinil is yet another alternative for wakefulness promoting agents. (Source: 3
)

Users who opt for Adrafinil would take lower doses and still have the same effect as Adrafinil and Modafinil.

Just like its other counterparts, Armodafinil is a regulated drug prescribed usually to people who need to deal with sleeping disorders or mood problems and, in some cases, treat schizophrenia.

How Do They Compare?

Now that you know what the similarities between the two are, the best way to compare Adrafinil and Modafinil is to look at where they differ. This review will focus on the following factors:

Adrafinil Dosage Compared To Modafinil

adrafinil vs modafinil (provigil)

People who take Nootropics will know that Adrafinil generally requires a higher dose to have nearly the same effect as Modafinil. This is mainly because of the fact that Adrafinil is a precursor to Modafinil.

That is, Adrafinil takes longer to take effect because it still needs to be broken down in the liver into Modafinil – something which obviously is no longer needed in the case of Modafinil.

The general consensus is that 150 mg Adrafinil is equivalent to 50 mg Modafinil.

But since, the generally recommended dose of Modafinil is 100 to 200 mg (such that a 50 mg dose would hardly have any effect), the recommended dosage for Adrafinil would be somewhere between 300 to 600 mg.

But because Adrafinil’s character as a pro-drug to Modafinil, it is more prone to issues of tolerance and might therefore have different results among different people even within the same dosage mentioned above.

This is why some people have gone as much as 1,200 mg of Adrafinil daily.

These varying cases are likely due to the fact that people of varying health levels produce enzymes that breakdown Adrafinil at different rates.

Of course, there are other reasons but the long and short of it is that this happens simply because people’s bodies respond to the same medication differently.

Recommended Use of Adrafinil

Adrafinil users, however, are advised to start with smaller doses and see how it affects their body. This is to make sure that they take only as much as they need. Otherwise, they risk having their body tolerate the drug which will make it ineffective in the long run.

Risks of abuse and dependency might also result from taking too much of it.

In comparison, those who take Modafinil shouldn’t go beyond the 200 mg dose.

While there have been those who hit the 400 to 600 mg mark, these exceptions should are best taken only with the advice or recommendation of the prescribing doctor.

One of the main reasons why Adrafinil was discontinued was because counterparts like Modafinil act faster than it. Again, this is because Modafinil no longer needs to be broken down in the body before taking effect.

Recommended Use of Modafinil

Since Modafinil tends to be more potent, people usually take them once in the morning – at the time of waking – and no more. Those who feel the need for a stronger dose would simply take caffeine or, in some cases, take an additional dose during the noon.

For example, a person would either have 200 mg in the morning and then drink coffee later or take another 200 mg after lunch, having a total of 400 mg per day.

Meanwhile, those who take Modafinil would take two 300 mg doses – one in the morning and another in the noon, just like with Modafinil.

Some doctors would prescribe the dosage to up to two 600 mg doses, but these are usually given to people with narcolepsy and similar sleeping disorders.

Whether taking Adrafinil or Modafinil, it’s important to make sure that you don’t take any of it in the late afternoon, much less in the evening.

Otherwise, you might not be able to sleep because of the effects of the drugs – which might hurt more than help you.

Another important recommendation is to take both drugs in cycles, which means that you allot a specific period of time when you are not using these drugs.

Most people would take them twice or thrice a week and then not take any at all during the following week.

This greatly reduces the chances of your body developing either tolerance or dependence on the drugs, which could be bad.

With proper planning and dosage, you’ll be able to enhance your focus and productivity at times when you need it the most without experiencing the adverse effects Adrafinil or Modafinil in the long run.

Stacking With Other Nootropics

As the name suggests, stacking refers to the act of taking more than one type of nootropic to achieve more effective results.

Generally, there are many kinds of combinations out there that involve either of Adrafinil or Modafinil with other nootropics:

 • Modafinil is usually combined with coffee, yohimbine HCl, along with some multivitamins and other supplements.
 • Adrafinil, on the other hand, have been used alongside with Noopept, Phenylpiracetam, and Piracetam

These combinations are not limited to what’s mentioned above and could vary between users. What’s in a person’s stack will depend greatly on what works on him or her.

But there are a couple of things that have been generally observed when stacking either of the two.

Should I Stack Adrafinil and Modafinil?

First, Adrafinil and Modafinil are never stacked with each other or at least it’s highly advised against. This is because the two almost have the same function, with Adrafinil only being a pro-drug to Modafinil.

Taking these two means overworking your liver and exposing your body to basically the same chemical compound which will increase the risk of developing tolerance.

Basically, stacking them means taking more than the recommended dose.

Note: There are, however, claims that instead of stacking them, you can take them alternately in order to reduce the risk of tolerance. But what’s important is that you don’t take them together.

Second, Modafinil tends to be harder to stack with other drugs compared to Adrafinil because Modafinil’s potency makes it more likely for it to cause anxiety, hyper stimulation, and other adverse side effects when taken with other nootropics.

If you want to try increasing the potency of Modafinil, you can take it with caffeine.

Adrafinil, on the other hand, has been known to work quite well on its own. Some people do stack other nootropics with it, but again it’s still taken on a case-to-case basis.

Just remember that stacking has to be purposeful. That is, you need to know what you’re stacking up for.

For example, the nootropics you will be using with Modafinil will be different if you wanted enhanced cognition (i.e. focus and wakefulness) from when you would need to improve your mood.

This is because nootropics differ in terms of effects.

Side Effects and Toxicity of Adrafinil and Modafinil

As far as adverse effects are concerned, Adrafinil and Modafinil are pretty much the same:

 • headaches
 • stomach problems
 • nausea
 • fever
 • skin disorders
 • hyperactivity
 • sleeping problems

What makes Adrafinil lose out to Modafinil, however, is its toxicity. Because Adrafinil still needs to be metabolized in the liver, it strains the liver more than Modafinil does.

As such, it is believed that Adrafinil has higher levels of toxicity compared to Modafinil. This, however, is still being studied. Toxicity, after all, is associated more with high dosage and long term use than the enzymes needed to break down a particular drug.

Legality and Availability

Both Adrafinil and Modafinil have been banned as performance enhancing drugs for athletes under the World Anti-Doping Association. But since its discontinuance, Adrafinil has been left unregulated across many countries and can be available over the counter.

Modafinil, on the other hand, is listed as a Schedule IV controlled substance and cannot be purchased without a prescription. (Source: 4
)

This is the case for the U.S., Canada, and most European nations.

This distinction would means two things:

 1. Adrafinil is generally cheaper than Modafinil. The cost for a 20-tablet prescription of Modafinil alone would cost as much as $300. In most stores, Modafinil drugs would cost about $300 to $500 for 100 mg doses and $400 to $800 for 200 mg doses (that’s 20 capsules per bottle). Meanwhile, Adrafinil capsules, however, can cost somewhere between $30 to $100 per bottle of 150 capsules.

Aside from the fact that Modafinil is highly regulated, it tends to be more expensive because of a lack of generic alternatives.

 1. Because it is not regulated, Adrafinil tends to be easier to find online. Of course, Modafinil can still be found for sale on the internet, but sites that sell them would have to adhere to regulations.

The fact that Adrafinil is widely available on the internet is, however, not entirely a good thing. This makes it possible for consumers to fall prey to sellers of fake Adrafinil which can either have no effect or have dangerous effects on your body.

As such, you should be careful when purchasing Adrafinil online: take heed of accreditation marks and always check for reviews on online sellers.

If the Adrafinil you purchased is tasteless, then you may have been duped. If a bottle of Adrafinil is sold online is at a price that it’s too good to be true, and then it probably is.

Be careful.

My Personal Results – Adrafinil Vs. Modafinil

adrafinil vs modafinil review

I’ve had the opportunity to take both Modafinil AND Adrafinil, and I can say without a doubt that Modafinil is superior in terms of effectiveness.

It doesn’t take a heck of a lot of time to “kick in” and the effects seem to last a VERY long time (almost too long).

The focus and concentration aspect is hard to beat when it comes to Modafinil.  It WILL make you alert and focused for hours on end, helping you to complete tasks quickly and easily.

However, in my personal experience, I actually like Adrafinil better.

Why?

For me, the effects of Modafinil came on a bit too strong, and that lingering feeling left me with a couple of pretty sleepless nights.

No insomniac like, but just a REALLY hard time falling asleep.

You get this with Adrafinil as well, but to a MUCH lesser extent.

Another downside to Modafinil was the headache, which seemed to just pop up out of nowhere after about 7 hours.

It wasn’t “migraine-like” in its intensity, but it was REALLY annoying.

I didn’t get this with Adrafinil.

Also, for me, Modafinil feels kind of weird.  It’s hard to describe, but you get the feeling that you’re taking a harsh chemical when you take this stuff.

It doesn’t feel “clean” like Adrafinil does.  A lot of people will say the opposite, but this was simply the case with me.

The downside to Adrafinil, of course, is that it takes THAT MUCH LONGER to kick in.

How long?

That depends on a lot of factors, but for me, the onset of Adrafinils effects seemed to take about 3 hours, Vs. about 45 minutes with Modafinil.

It really depends on your bodies metabolism, how much food you have in your stomach, your overall mood before taking, and a few other factors.

The other downside to Modafinil is it’s legality.

I obtained mine legally from a doctor, but the vast majority of people that decide to try Modafinil out go through the black markets.

This is not only dangerous, but of course, illegal.

If you can get Modafinil legally, I would highly recommend it.

However, if you’re concerned about getting thrown in jail for possessing a Schedule IV substance, and are looking for a legal over the counter alternative, I highly recommend giving Adrafinil a try.

I buy mine from a site called AbsorbYourHealth.com.  At $33 for 30 capsules, its WAY cheaper than Modafinil and the effects are relatively comparable.

My Personal Results – Armodafinil Vs. Adrafinil

adrafinil vs armodafinil review

I recently got a chance to try out Armodafinil, and to be quite honest, I didn’t seem to get hardly any effect from it.  I don’t know if I just got a bad batch or what, but I took a standard dose and really didn’t feel anything.

As a matter of fact, I ACTUALLY felt more tired when I took it.  On top of that, I had this weird pressure sensation in my head that for the life of me would just NOT go away.

Luckily I didn’t have a sleepless night, but of course, I didn’t have a very productive day either.

Some users report a bit more of a kick to Armodafinil Vs. Adrafinil, but I didn’t notice any similarities.

I would stick with Adrafinil if I had to choose between the 2.

Conclusion

Like most drugs, both Adrafinil and Modafinil are very useful at the right dosage. While they are not EXACTLY the same in terms of effectiveness, Adrafinil is very comparable.

And consequentially, legal.

But when choosing between the two, make sure you consider the factors discussed above, weigh your pros and cons, and even consult your doctor, before making a choice.

What Is IT Works Fat Fighter?

IT Works Fat Fighter is not a traditional fat burner.

In fact, it’s not a fat burner at all.

It’s more like a fat absorber. Taken AFTER a meal, it absorbs the fat you’ve just consumed, not allowing it to be stored in your body. Fat gets swept up with the special fiber in the supplement and eliminated as waste.

It’s the idea of no more guilt. You want that tempting dessert? Go ahead. IT Works Fat Fighter makes it possible to indulge, without the worry of consequences. You don’t need to take it on a regular basis, but you can if you choose to. If you’ve just eaten a fatty or carb loaded meal, take 1 or 2 pills anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour after the meal, and you’ve negated a portion of the fat and carbs you’ve just eaten. Or you could take it regularly, twice a day, after your two largest meals.

IT Works Fat Fighter is promoted is as a product you carry around with you, so it’s available when you need it, especially when you’re eating out and it’s difficult to stick to your healthy eating plan.

I have to admit, this is a great benefit… if “it works”. So let’s dive into the ingredient profile and find out if it does.

IT Works Fat Fighter Ingredients

it works fat fighters ingredients label

The primary ingredient in focus is called NeOpuntia. It’s a fiber that comes from the Prickly Pear Cactus, which has been given the nickname of “fat-fighting cactus” because of its ability to bind to fat and carry it away, not allowing it to be absorbed by the body.

In 2014, a small double-blind placebo controlled study showed that subjects taking cactus fiber after meals showed significantly more fecal fat excretion than their placebo taking counterparts. Essentially, subjects taking the cactus fiber pooped out more fat that those who weren’t taking it. The conclusion then is that this particular cactus fiber prevents the absorption of fat, which leads to weight loss.

When comparing studies to actual supplements, it’s important to note the amount of ingredient used. In this study, subjects took 2 500mg pills 3 times a day after meals. That’s a total of 3 grams of cactus fiber a day.

Each IT Works Fat Fighter pill contains 250mg of NeOpuntia. With a serving size of 2 tablets, that’s 500mg after each meal as opposed to the 1,000mg after each meal in the study. Additionally, subjects in the study took it 3 times a day. The recommendation for IT Works Fat Fighter is twice a day or even “as needed”.

These differences in context are important to note when we look to scientific studies to prove or disprove a product’s effectiveness. In this case, while the study is encouraging regarding the active ingredient, it says less about the ability of IT Works Fat Fighter to do what it claims.

But NeOpuntia isn’t the only ingredient in the profile. There’s also Chromium (150 mcg per serving), which can help control blood sugar and is often used as a supplement to help manage diabetes.

You can find Chromium in literally HUNDREDS of other supplements, including the GOLO weight loss system and Regenify.

The rest of the ingredients are all included in a 510mg per serving Proprietary Blend. We don’t know how much of each is used, but with a total of only 510mg to go around for the 8 components to the blend, it’s safe to say it’s not much. Here are the eight:

 • Garcinia Cambogia which is a very popular weight loss ingredient these days. It contains Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) which is said to work in a few different ways. It suppresses appetite, it increases metabolism, and most importantly in this formula, it prevents carbohydrates from being stored as fat. Studies of Garcinia’s effectiveness when it comes to weight loss are inconclusive.
 • Green Tea Leaf Extract which contains caffeine and EGCG which is a polyphenol that may increase metabolism and fat loss.
 • Phaseolamin (White Kidney Bean Extract) which is the carbohydrate blocking ingredient in the mix. The way it works is by blocking the enzyme that digests carbs. If you can’t digest them, they must instead be eliminated. The only study I’ve seen of Phaseolamin was small, not particular conclusive, and in it the subjects took 3 grams of it a day, far more than what’s possible within the 510mg proprietary blend.
 • Bitter Melon Fruit Extract which may increase fat burning and decrease in fat gain. There really aren’t any relevant human studies, but at high doses, rats have been shown to resist weight gain while using Bitter Melon Fruit extract.
 • Banaba Leaf Extract contains Corosolic Acid which may decrease insulin production and improve glucose transport, having the effect of balancing blood sugar. Minimizing blood sugar fluctuations can be beneficial to maintaining a healthy weight.
 • Gymnema Sylvestre Leaf Extract which may also regulate blood sugar by decreasing absorption of sugar while increasing insulin. According to WebMD, a study of the use of Gymnema Sylvestre in combination with Hydroxycitris Acid and Niacin, can lead to weight loss in overweight or obese subjects. IT Works Fat Fighter contains all three.
 • Wheat Amylase Inhibitor which blocks carbohydrate absorption.
 • Vanadium which may reduce blood sugar in a similar way to insulin. Research on this, however, is slim.

To summarize what we’ve found by looking at the formula, I’d say IT Works Fat Fighter does contain some potentially effective ingredients, but almost all are present at levels too low to have results approaching what we’ve seen in the scholarly research.

How To Use IT Works Fat Fighter

To recap the dosing instructions, IT Works recommends you keep Fat Fighter with you at all times, and there are two ways to approach using this product.

IT Works Fat Fighter Indulge Image

 1. You have the option of taking 2 tablets twice a day, about 15-60 minutes after each of your two biggest meals.
 2. Alternatively, you can keep it on hand for those times when you need it most. In this case, 15-60 minutes after a particularly fat or carb heavy meal, pop 2 tablets to prevent the extra fat and carbs from staying with you.

IT Works Fat Fighter Side Effects

In general, we would not expect IT Works Fat Fighter to cause side effects other than what you might expect on occasion with any supplement – headache, gastrointestinal discomfort, etc.

Several of the ingredients attempt to lower blood sugar, but at such low doses of each, it’s reasonable to assume this won’t reach unwanted levels.

What is IT Works?

With the explosion of social media over the last decade, there has been a resurgence of products sold using the framework of Multilevel Marketing, or MLM. I won’t get into the minute details, but if you’re familiar with the idea of a pyramid scheme, then you’re close. In a nutshell, within a Multil

evel Marketing company, there is a hierarchy of sellers that not only distribute products, but also recruit additional sellers. A marketer receives commissions not only on their own sales and enrollees, but also on the sales and enrollees of their recruits, and their recruits, and so on down the line. The best way to earn money as a member of an MLM organization is by recruiting distributors into your network.

IT Works Fat Fighter Pyramid Image

MLM organizations are legal, but pyramid schemes are not, and there’s a very simple distinction between the two. In an MLM program, there is an actual product being sold, whereas in a pyramid scheme, there’s no product at all.

The whole thing exists to be a money-making scam.

IT Works clearly fits into a multilevel marketing company framework, selling weight loss and healthy lifestyle type products.

The Company was started in 2001 by Mark Pentecost when he was looking for his next entrepreneurial venture. It started with body toning wraps he found being manufactured in Mexico. He quickly scooped up the rights to the products and began selling them to the network of associates he’d amassed from earlier enterprises.

It took a while to catch on, but by 2008, IT Works was well on its way to global success. Having begun in Michigan, they are now headquartered on the Gulf coast in Florida.

The company focuses on recruiting young college graduates, and uses the notion of paying off college loans as a way of getting their attention.

How Is IT Works Rated as a Company?

IT Works currently has a Better Business Bureau rating of C+. A big reason for the mediocre score is the number of negative reviews and complaints it has received. At the time of this writing, the file indicates 104 positive reviews, 35 negative reviews, and 321 Customer Complaints.

We drilled down to see what some of the unhappy customers were saying, and most of the issues seem to stem from customer service and billing problems. In many cases, customers were not happy with the products they purchased, attempted to either get a refund, cancel future shipments, or both, and were met with the inability to do so.

A frequent problem occurred when customers signed up for the Loyal Customer program were shocked by an unexpected $50 “cancellation fee”. Here’s what happens:

Customers are enticed to sign up for the Loyal Customer program because it allows them to pay a significantly lower price for each product (usually more than 40%). To get this low price, the Loyal Customer must sign up for automatic shipping every month. Apparently, not all customers are aware that this is what they’re signing up for, and they certainly don’t know that they are required to stick with the automatic shipping program for at least 3 months, and if they cancel before that time, they will be charged a $50 “Membership Fee”.

It’s easy to miss this small detail. Take a look at what you see when you’re almost done with the ordering process.

IT Works Loyal Customer Image 1

Ah the old “Certain Restrictions May Apply” game. But you’ll never know what those “certain restrictions” are unless you find find this tiny disclaimer:

Teeny Tiny Image

Here’s the operative wording you need to see within that long and complicated Terms and Conditions document:

it works fat fighters terms and conditions

Some complaints stem from the IT Works return policy, which is basically that there is none… sort of.

IT Works Return Policy Image

They don’t offer a guarantee on results. You can only return unopened, unused product, and if you don’t do it just right, you won’t get anything back. They attempt to explain how the $50 membership fee factors into returns, but frankly I don’t think they explain it very well.

I read through pages of complaints, and most are upset about the company not handling the situation in an acceptable way when the customer wasn’t happy about the product and wanted to discontinue using it. But this brings up a very important point:

Lots of customers are trying to return these products because they don’t think they work. Now this applies to all the products, not just the IT Works Fat Fighter. But it’s certainly worth noting.

As for customer opinion of the Fat Fighter itself, I couldn’t find much feedback that doesn’t come from distributor websites, who’s main goal is not to research the product but to sell it. Of course they’ll say IT Works Fat Fighter works. Their livelihood depends on it.

My Personal Results

IT Works Fat Fighters review

So as far as my personal results, I got a chance to try IT Works Fat Fighters out for about 2 weeks, and I have to say I’m actually very impressed.

I really didn’t have a ton of weight to lose, but I noticed my portion sizes were getting a bit out of control.

As a result, I definitely felt (and even noticed on the scale) that I was gaining a few pounds over the last month or so.

I basically went in to this experiment to test out it’s appetite suppressing qualities, rather than it’s fat burning qualities.

The directions on the label state that you should take 2 tablets within 60 minutes of eating the largest meal of the day.

They don’t really specify, at least on the label, whether you should take it before or after your meal, but I figured it would probably make more sense to take it before.

On the first day I could definitely tell that it as working.

Usually my largest meal of the day is dinner, which I tend to eat ridiculously late in the day, like 10 oclock at night sometimes.

I took the 2 capsules like an hour or so before I ate, and after like 5 or 6 bites I was already starting to feel kind of full.

I ended up eating only like half of my plate and felt like I was gonna pass out I was so full.

I continued taking 2 capsules everyday for like the next 7 days and it was literally the same result every time.

I would eat just a little bit and be full super quick.

At the end of the week I stepped on the scale and noticed that I lost about 2 pounds, which is an average amount of weight loss if you ask me.

One thing I noticed was I felt like I was getting really bad dry mouth with this stuff.

I’m not actually sure if it was this supplement that gave me the dry mouth, but I was sucking down water at a rate that I don’t normally do and it was like no matter how much I drank I felt real thirsty.

I’m not sure if others have gotten this same response, but I figured I would throw it out there.

Where to Buy

If you’re interested in trying IT Works Fat Fighter, you can go online to the IT Works main website, or you can find a local or online distributor to buy through. The MLM system is designed to have you working through a distributor, so if you don’t have one going into the order process, you will be required to sign up with one they choose for you.

To buy as a one time retail customer, a 60-count bottle costs $42. If you take 2 pills after each of 2 meals a day for a total of 4 pills a day, the bottle will last half a month. If you sign up for the loyalty autoship program, you’ll pay $25 for the same bottle.

It’s difficult to avoid signing up for the Loyal Customer program, as ordering this way is the default. If you want to pay full retail price with no obligation, you have to search pretty hard and navigate through several screens to get to that possibility.

IT Works Fat Fighter Pros and Cons

We’ve laid out all the significant details about IT Works Fat Fighter, how it works, and what it’s all about. Now, as we wrap up our discussion, it’s time to summarize our findings into positives and negatives.

Advantages of IT Works Fat Fighter

 • The ingredients are largely backed by research.
 • Deep discounts are available
 • The ingredients are all natural.

Disadvantages of IT Works Fat Fighter

 • The ingredients in the formula are underdosed as compared with the relevant research findings.
 • The way the company is set up encourages confusing contracts and monthly billings.
 • The Better Business Bureau file is filled with complaints from customers about these confusing contracts and monthly billings.
 • There are no customer reviews regarding the actual product and how it works for the customers using it.

The Bottom Line

IT Works Fat Fighter may have the potential to be a decent weight loss supplement.  But even if it does work, it wouldn’t be wise to count on it as your go-to weight loss product. It’s better situated as a “supplemental supplement” for when you need something to counterbalance your occasional overeating.

The biggest problem with the product itself is the low dosing of clinically studied ingredients. This could squash most of the potential for effectiveness.

Clinical studies can go a long way in selling me on a product or at least getting me to dip my toe in the water.

More than that, I’d caution you to be wary of getting involved with the company because of its reputation for confusing contracts which lead to unexpected one time fees and ongoing charges. All MLM companies are based on a core product or group of products, and ideally the products are good and effective. But the predominant focus is placed the marketing network and distributors making money.

Take a look at any IT Works distributor’s Facebook page. There’s at least as much push to get you to sign up as a distributor as there is for you to use the product. This doesn’t mean the product is garbage, but it does make you wonder what the company’s priorities are.

Chances are you’ve heard of Adderall, the drug prescribed to children and adults diagnosed with ADD/ADHD.

And chances are you’re aware that it’s commonly used by college students and others as a study and productivity aid. In users with a diagnosis of ADD/ADHD, it has a calming yet focused effect, while in users without attention deficit disorders, it acts as a stimulant and mood elevator. As a result, there’s a thriving black market for Adderall in and around college campuses all over the world.

adderall abuse in college campuses

There’s also a huge market for those looking for an over the counter version of Adderall.

The same is true for Modafinil.

Also known by its brand name Provigil, Modafinil is prescribed mainly to patients with narcolepsy and shift work sleep disorders, but like Adderall, its off label use has exploded in recent years as healthy people have come to realize its potential.

What is Modafinil and How Does It Work?

Modafinil is a medication to promote wakefulness.

Modafinil Image

Because of its potential for cognitive enhancement and its use by students for attention and focus, it’s often lumped in with Adderall and Ritalin. But Modafinil is not a traditional stimulant in the way the other two are; it does not contain amphetamines, and it acts differently on the neurotransmitters of the brain.

The amphetamines in Adderall are what’s called psycho-stimulants. They stimulate central nervous system activity by increasing dopamine, serotonin, and noepinephrine, three neurotransmitters, or brain chemicals responsible for affecting behavior, mood, response, and motivation.

In contrast, Modafinil is a eugeroic  which promotes wakefulness, not central nervous system stimulation. It’s exact mechanism of action is not known, but it appears to be a weak, yet very selective, dopamine reuptake inhibitor that works by binding to the dopamine transporters. The presence of increased dopamine encourages both wakefulness and motivation. Modafinil has less of a propensity toward dependence than Adderall, though there has been no conclusion made that Modafinil is not addictive at all.

Who Uses Modafinil?

The official patient population for Modafinil includes narcoleptics, people with obstructive sleep apnea, and overnight shift workers who have difficulty adjusting their sleep patterns to their work schedule. But Modafinil’s ability to promote wakefulness makes it a popular study and productivity aid as well.

In fact, a survey conducted in 2014 found that 1 in 5 university students in the United Kingdom has used Modafinil to help them stay awake, study, and/or prepare for exams. Many report improvements in concentration and memory recall, but these effects have not borne out in clinical studies as the well as the wakefulness has.

Is Modafinil Prescription Only?

I get inquiries every day from readers who want to improve their cognitive abilities. Some are looking for better focus to conquer a huge research paper or presentation. Some have noticed their memories falling a little short lately, and want something to counteract the decline. Some just feel sluggish and “off” and hope there’s a way to get back to their old energetic selves.

Modafinil requires a prescription from a doctor, though as you know, online pharmacies have a way of getting around such requirements. Basically, if you want to find Modafinil for sale without a prescription, you will.

In fact, I just got done reviewing a company called Afinil Express, who specializes in just that.

But that’s not the point. Taking prescription drugs without supervision by or consultation with a doctor has the potential to be dangerous. This doesn’t mean you’ll take these and die. I supposed it’s possible, yet it’s highly unlikely. But your doctor will take into account your medical conditions and history, along with any other medications you’re taking, and determine if you’d be safe taking Modafinil, or any other prescription drug for that matter.

Consulting with a doctor will also give you as the patient the opportunity to ask questions and have a conversation that can lead to a deeper understanding of what to expect and what not to expect. For instance, one of the reported potential side effects of Modafinil is suicidal thoughts and consideration of self harm. A conversation with a doctor gives you an opportunity to know this and be prepared for it if it occurs to you. If you didn’t know this is possible, and it happened to you while taking Modafinil, the outcome could be much much worse than if you knew to be on the lookout for these kinds of thoughts.

On top of the safety concerns, buying illicit drugs can lead to any number of unintended negative consequences. At $5-$20 a pill, it’s expensive, and buying a controlled substance without a doctor’s prescription is against the law. Side effects may be an issue as well. Headaches are the most commonly reported (at about 10% of users), and some people may experience a severe skin rash. Best to find legal alternatives that give you the same or similar benefits at a lower cost, both financially and personally.

OTC Modafinil Alternatives

Option #1 – Adrafinil

adrafinil review

Buy Adrafinil Online Cheap:  https://www.absorbyourhealth.com/product/adrafinil

Adrafinil is the closest you can get to Modafinil over the counter, and that’s because it actually turns into Modafinil once it’s in your body. Like Modafinil, Adrafinil promotes wakefulness. You get the benefit of remaining alert and focused on the task at hand, but you don’t feel jittery and restless like you would when taking something containing central nervous system stimulants.

As Adrafinil passes through the liver, it is converted to Modafinil.

In fact, I would literally characterize it as legal over the counter Modafinil.

Related Article:  Adrafinil Vs. Modafinil – Which Is Best?

Because Adrafinil is a precursor to Modafinil, the required dose is higher than it is for the real thing, and it takes longer to kick in. Whereas the recommended dose for Modafinil is 100-200 mg per day of use, the comparable Adrafinil dose is more like 600 mg, though there is plenty of variation among users, which we’ll talk more about a little later.

One of the best ways to describe the effect of Adrafinil is that it causes wakefulness and alertness by fighting fatigue and sleepiness, not by amping you up or causing hyperactivity. Your focus I spot on as well. It’s also possible that it improves memory. There is some anecdotal evidence to support this, though no clinical studies thus far have proven it.

How To Use Adrafinil

The effects of Adrafinil will kick in in about an hour when taken on an empty stomach. It takes this much time because it has to pass through the liver before converting to Modafinil. A typical dose is 600 mg, but you’ll want to start off lower, say 100-200 mg, to assess the effects, and build up from there. It comes in powder form, and when you mix it with hot water, the solution will turn clear (HINT: This is a good way to make sure you have the real thing).

Which brings us to a potential issue with Adrafinil worth noting. Be careful where you buy your Adrafinil as there have been cases of outlets supplying fake product. Make sure you use a retailer you can trust, and know that your solution, once mixed with water, should be colorless, and you should be able to fine a certificate or stamp of purity associated with the product.

Adrafinil, like Modanafil, has a much lower probability for abuse and addiction than other drugs such as Adderall, but it’s still best to guard against this by cycling your use. One good method would be to use it for a week then go without for a week. Alternately, try 2 days a week with a good few days between each use. The goal in both cases is to make sure you go a significant amount of time without to make sure you don’t end up dependent.

It may take a bit of experimentation to get to the best balance, but once you get your timing and dosage squared away, Adrafinil can be a very close alternative to the real thing, mainly because it is structurally similar to the real thing.

The best part about Adrafinil is that it’s safe, it’s legal, it doesn’t require a prescription, and it’s quite literally the closest thing to Modafinil you can find.

Where to Buy Adrafinil

Adrafinil comes in powder and pill form. The advantage of powder is you can easily adjust your dose up and down. It usually comes in 5 gram to 30 gram packaging, with an average price of about $ in The advantage of pills is convenience. When buying powder, you can get15 grams (about a one month supply or more depending on how you use it) for about $35. For pills, you usually see 300 mg doses. You’ll get about 30 capsules for your $35.

You won’t find Adrafinil, or other over the counter modafinil alternatives for that matter, at stores like GNC, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, or Vitamin Shoppe.

However, you can find it conveniently from a number of reputable online providers.

I get my Adrafinil from AbsorbYourHealth.com. It’s actually a part of their Nootropics All Star Pack, and is great at helping to wake you up and keep you focused.

Option #2 – Noopept

modafinil over the counter alternativeBuy Noopept Online Cheap:  www.AbsorbYourHealth.com/product/Noopept

Noopept works in a very similar way to Racetams, only stronger, and in my opinion, better. It was first synthesized in Russia where it is currently prescribed as a nootopic. Here in the US, it’s available over the counter, and in effect works as a very suitable Modafinil substitute.

It’s actually a pre cursor (or pro drug) for cycloproglycine. As a result, it’s not active as a nootropic until after it converts to cycloprolylglycine in the body.

Like most nootropics, the exact mechanism of action for Noopept is not completely understood. If you look at the scarce research associated with cycloprolylglycine (CPG), you’ll see it’s been found to reduce anxiety and alleviate the fear response. This explains its reputation for being extremely neuroprotective. Yet Noopept is widely understood, and has been anecdotal shown, to improve cognitive functioning.

The feeling you get from Noopept can be described as calm and alert, with heightened awareness or your surroundings. Feelings of calm confidence and increased productivity are also reported.

But beyond that, it’s believed to have the same neuroprotective qualities as Racetams, as well as a positive effect on the production and movement of neurotransmitters like acetylcholine, dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. By increasing the speed of transmission between synapses, Noopept improves several aspects of cognitive function, and does so with a much smaller dose than is necessary with traditional racetams.

The most commonly recommended dose is between 10 and 30 mg daily. As always, I recommended starting low and working your way up if needed. The extremely low dose works to your advantage in that the potential for side effects is quite low. The most commonly reported being a feeling of pressure in your head.

Noopept is taken orally. Many recommend taking it sublinqually for optimal and speedy absorption.

One drawback is the short duration of effect. With a half-life of one hour, the effects of Noopept only last for up to about 4 hours max. You can experiment with taking another dose in the early afternoon, but as always, go slow and monitor yourself for any adverse reactions.

You can purchase Noopept in either capsule or powder form. Capsules usually come in 10 mg weight, and you can get 100 for $20. If you take only 10 mg per day, that $20 will take you through 3 months, while if you go with 30 mg per day – either in one dose or a couple throughout the day, you’re looking at one month.

If you opt for powder, a 10 gram jar also goes for $20. In this case, your $20 will last almost a year.

This highlights one of the advantages of Noopept. It’s very inexpensive, so it makes a great add on to a stack. And when trying to effect a Modafinil alternative, you can make up for the lack of a stimulant effect by adding Adrafinil or Phenylpiracetam.

Just like with Adrafinil, I pick mine up at Absorb Your Health.

It’s one of the cheapest available, but the quality is 2nd to none.  Here’s a link to their site:   www.AbsorbYourHealth.com/product/Noopept

Option #3 – Sulbutiamine

/wp

Buy Sulbutiamine Online:  www.AbsorbYourHealth.com/product/sulbutiamine

Sulbutiamine is a derivative of Vitamin B1, or Thiamine. Thiamine itself has similar abilities to provide energy and boost mood, but there’s one very important drawback. Thiamine is not well absorbed and cannot cross the blood-brain barrier, which it would need to do in order to have its pronounces cognitive enhancement effect.

Sulbutiamine solves this problem because the molecule is different enough from that of Vitamin B1 that it can readily cross the blood-brain barrier, effectively unlocking the door to its potential benefits. It was discovered and developed in Japan by scientists working on a way to improve Thiamine absorption in order to fully utilize its cognitive enhancement benefits. That mission was accomplished with Sulbutiamine.

The most commonly reported benefits are increased energy and improved mood. These would indeed make it a close substitute to Modafinil. To further drive that point home, Sulbutiamine is frequently used as a treatment for chronic fatigue.

The mood elevating properties of Sulbutiamine come from its action on the functioning of certain neurotransmitter receptors in the brain, notably those for choline, glutamine, and dopamine. This results in not only clearer thinking, but also better mood and increased sociability.

Sulbutiamine Side Effects

At normal doses, Sulbutiamine is not known to cause any serious side effects. Like most nootropics, headaches and head pressure are fairly common, but don’t rise to the level of a problem for most users.

Something to watch out for thought is a potential for dependency. Research has not necessarily borne this out, but the fact that Sulbutiamine acts on dopamine receptors means it could lead to a situation where you need the help in order to feel right, not unlike the way cocaine works. Again, this is not settled business by any means. But it would be best to not use Sulbutiamine every day to make sure you’re not creating a difficult situation for yourself down the road.

How To Use Sulbutiamine

There is not clear consensus on the optimal daily dosage. General wisdom, along with the few studies that have been conducted, seem to point to 400-600 mg per day as best. Arcalion, the most common brand name for Sulbutiamine, cautions against using more than 600 mg per day. On the other hand, you’ll see recommendations of up to 1000 mg a day or more, which solidifies the notion that the evidence just isn’t conclusive at this point. It’s best to start on the low end of the spectrum and assess your response from there.

Sulbutiamine is fat soluble which means it’s best taken with a meal, milk, fish oil, or some other form of fat. Most suppliers recommend splitting your daily dosage into 2 or 3 doses with your meals.

Where to Buy

Sulbutiamine is available in capsule and powder form. Capsules offer the advantage of convenience. Powder makes it easier to adjust your dosage, and it’s cheaper. Capsules usually contain 200 mg and cost about $15 for a 90 count bottle. For the powder form, you can expect to pay $10 for a 25 gram tub.

Just like with the others, I recommend buying it from Absorb Your Health (www.AbsorbYourHealth.com).

They sell a 100 capsule supply for just $22.99, and you’ll literally get your order within a few days.

Here’s a link to their Sulbutiamine page:  https://www.absorbyourhealth.com/product/sulbutiamine-500mg-100-capsules-powerful-nootropic/?ref=4349

Stacking Sulbutamiane

Just like Noopept, Sulbutiamine is often used in nootropic stacks. In fact, it makes a great addition to the Adrafinil/Noopept stack we mentioned earlier. It adds more of the energy component and introduces a more pronounced mood elevating effect.

Option #4 Phenylpiracetam

phenylpiracetam imagePhenylpiracetem is a close derivative of the original nootropic, Piracetam. Romanian psychologist and chemist Corneliu Giurgea developed Piracetam in 1964, and subsequently coined the term Nootropics, used to refer to brain boosting supplements. Since then, while it hasn’t remained the strongest or most effective option, it still is one of the most popular.

Like most nootropics, the mechanism for how Phenylpiracetam works isn’t entirely understood. It’s not a quite a stimulant like Adderall, but it is known to produce a stimulant effect (In fact, it’s known to be the “stimulant racetam”.

It acts on neurotransmitters (specifically acetylcholine, dopamine, GABA, and gluatamate) within the brain, increasing movement along neuronal pathways. Additionally, it improves blood flow, which increases oxygen delivery to the brain. A third benefit is that it improves the permeability of cell membranes, leading to better communication overall.

One of the advantages of Phenylpiractetam over Piracetam is that while very similar, it’s 30-60 times stronger. This is because phenylpiracetam is far more easily passed through the blood-brain barrier. For this reason and others, it’s a closer imitation of Modanifil. In addition to the general cognitive boost you’ll get with Piracetam, Phenylpiracetam also provides a clean, jitter-free stimulant feel, akin to Modafinil. It’s that “up, but not speedy” feeling that keeps you alert and going, but not fidgety. And it doesn’t lead to the subsequent crash. With Phenylpiracetam, you’re alert and motivated, but not edgy, stressed, or anxious.

It’s no wonder so many of the nootropics message board members declare Phenylpiracetam is their favorite Racetam!

How To Use Phenylpiracetam

As a result of its much higher strength of action, you can take much smaller doses of Phenylporacetam than Piracetam.

As a consequence of the fact that it hasn’t been widely studied for its nootropic effects on healthy people, a standard dose has not been established. A common dose is 100 mg taken two times daily as needed. Because of its stimulant properties, you’ll want to avoid taking it later than early to mid afternoon. For a number of reasons, I generally advocate for using the lowest effective dose. It’s less likely to cause dependence or create tolerance, not to mention it saves you money as well.

It comes in both powder and capsule form. Most capsules are dosed at 100 or 200 mg per, so if you want to experiment more minutely, you’d be better off with powder. 30 count bottles of 100 mg capsules run anywhere from $15 to $20 to get an idea of price. If you go with powder, you can get a 5 gram jar for under $20.

Option #5 – Semax

Semax ImageSemax is another option from the stable of nootropics developed and used in Russia. It comes in liquid form, and is similar in chemical make-up to Noopept. Having been around since 1982, having been discovered while searching for a treatment for stroke-induced brain damage. As is often the case, while researching a cure or treatment for one condition, a compound with unexpected benefits was found. Today in Russia, it is still primarily used to treat circulatory system disorders, ie stroke, but also for memory and cognitive disorders.

Like all nootropics, how Semax works as a cognitive enhancer is, at least in part, something of a mystery. Certainly the improved circulation can increase blood flow to the brain, meaning more beneficial oxygen.

It also appears to improve the way your brain responds to stress, providing a clear and calm sense with which to proceed.

Semax may also present as a neuroprotective due to its strong antioxidant properties. It has been shown to increase the presence of BDNF (Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor) in animals, a protein that acts on neurons and the central nervous system to encourage growth of new neurons and synapses. Its most active areas within the brain are the Hippocampus, Cortex, and Basal Forebrain – all of which are crucial to memory, learning, and higher level cognition.

The increase in BDNF has its most pronounced effect on long term memory. Other components of Semax have a positive effect on serotonin and dopamine receptors. The effect is not quite euphoric, but it combats depression and inhibits anxiousness, especially when faced with stress. Semax has been considered as a treatment for both depression and ADD/ADHD, but studies have not been conducted to further this hypothesis.

Looking around on the message boards is a good way to learn what users are experiencing with Semax. In general, they report a pretty impressive list of benefits including:

 • Increased alertness
 • Better reasoning skill.
 • Improved perception and concentration.
 • Greater energy.
 • Elevated mood.

Another interesting benefit is the lessening of perceived strain, both mental and physical. Take one example I came across on Reddit. The guy said he was doing push ups. He knew he was doing them, he could “feel” that he was doing them. But he felt none of the strain or effort of doing them, almost- yet not quite – like he was watching himself.

How To Use Semax

Semax comes in liquid form, and is most commonly used as nasal drops or a nasal spray. The .1% concentrated solution is commonly used in nootropic applications with instructions to apply 1-2 drops into each nostril twice a day – once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Alternatively, Semax can be injected, but it cannot be taken orally.

Semax generally comes in a small vial dispenser that should be kept refrigerated.

Where to Buy Semax

Semax is sold online, though its availability is not as wide as some of its counterparts. A 200mcg solution spray bottle costs $32.99 while the larger dose of 600mcg bottle comes in at $77.99. These are the prices including refrigerant. If you want to add to your order, the price is a little lower because you don’t have to add extra refrigerant.

Widely accepted dosing protocols simply don’t exist at this point for Semax, so if you’re just starting out, it’s best to go with the 200mcg solution. If it’s not cutting it, use 2 or 3 sprays at a time, and next time order the 600 mcg.

Recommendation

Modafinil serves as a fantastic study and productivity aid. The problem is, most people either can’t get their hands on it, can’t afford it, or don’t like the idea of sneaky around using illicit substances without a prescription. That is precisely why we have safe, legal alternatives.

They’re easier to get, in many ways are just as effective and possibly even safer.

We’ve gone over 5 of them here in this article. They’re my top picks, but this list is by no means exhaustive. One of the reason the nootropics world is so fascinating right now is that people are experimenting, coming up with their own combinations, adjusting and fine tuning components and amounts, and sharing them with the community.

While I might like this better than that, and you find x more helpful than z, we all have something to learn from each other. And that brings me to my recommendation for the best Modafinil alternative. In my opinion, your best bet, because it’s so closely related, is Adrafinil.

Be sure to make sure that none of these Modafinil alternatives interact with medications you are currently taking or if you allergic or not before deciding to go with any of them and always take as recommended.

Priamax Review

For a healthy young male, sexual performance is – at least in theory – never much of an issue. Hormones raging, the young organism is ready for “action” seemingly around the clock, causing problems with its incessant yearnings rather than its inability to perform.

For older men though – and for an apparently growing segment of youngsters too – ED (Erectile Dysfunction) is indeed a very real problem, one that is viewed by most as affecting their overall quality of life.

As such, for many people, ED is the nemesis that has to be defeated at all cost. A proper approach to the ED issue would obviously be to track down the roots of the problem, which may indeed be psychological, hormonal or even mechanical in nature, and then to address it through the medically recommended methods.

Men on the quest to reclaim their apparently lost masculinity though have never been the most logical and level-headed bunch. The eagerness of the public to buy into various pseudo-scientific solutions has promoted the rise of an entire industry preying off the gullibility of ED-sufferers.

This industry is never shy to offer solutions to every possible masculinity-related problem people may think they have. Charlatans and online snake oil salesmen will readily “solve” issues way above and beyond ED.

They will give people medications and supplements that won’t just defeat their ED, but will also make their penises longer, thicker and their erections more enduring. On top of all that, in that same swoop, they will build muscle, improve bone-density and turn back time on one’s entire metabolism.

If all that sounds too good to be true to you, that’s because it is. The worst of it isn’t though that the male-enhancement industry makes all those promises, but the fact that its claims seem anchored in actual science, and as such, they’re much more likely to convince people.

PriaMax fits wonderfully into the above painted picture. It is a male enhancement compound which – based on its promises – is God’s gift to the aging and hormonally challenged section of the male population.

What exactly is PriaMax?

priamax reviewPriaMax is a supplement targeting males who are unable to attain or to maintain an erection. When I say “targeting” I mean aiming for their pockets and wallets rather than offering them an actual solution.

According to the official PriaMax site, the compound is a “triple intensity” male enhancement solution, which provides “improved libido and sex-drive”(too bad the two are synonyms, and thus this “label” doesn’t just reek of hype, it is grammatically incorrect too), bigger, harder and longer erections, increased staying power, an increase in the size of the organ, and improved sexual confidence.

The approach taken by PriaMax is a two-pronged one, targeting the hormonal aspect of the problem on one hand, by supposedly increasing the amount of free testosterone in the consumer, and increasing nitric oxide production, to directly help with the biochemical processes involved in erection. Let’s not cut ahead of the chase though.

Taking a closer look at the “official” PriaMax website will yield plenty of clues in regards to the true nature of this product. The site consists of classic sales copy which those versed in the art of marketing will immediately recognize as such.

The promotional effort starts off by stating “the problem”. It then goes on to offer a fully exhaustive “solution” for all its facets, plus a handful of added benefits, concluding with a call to action and a number or urgency-inducing twists, such as the “free trial” offer, which supposedly only costs a little under $3. The stocks are obviously also “limited” so those interested shouldn’t waste any time having their bottles rushed.

The homepage is adorned with the logos of a number of high-profile news organizations, such as CNN, CNBC and MensHealth, which have all supposedly covered PriaMax.

priamax claims to be seen on the doctors, cnbc, cnn, and usa today

Obviously though, none of that is true.  When I searched the Men’s Health website for the term “Priamax” I came up short.

priamax mens health

Furthermore, the promotional copy contains several other inaccuracies, fabrications, and – let’s call a spade a spade – lies. It is claimed for instance that the product is “clinically proven” and that it’s “doctor recommended”.

No, it isn’t. There’s absolutely no evidence brought to bear in this regard, simply because there is no evidence. The testing and the paperwork that would have to be done to obtain proper certification and approvals is truly massive, on a scale far exceeding the abilities of the “team” that’s behind the Priamax product.

Where is PriaMax made though and what’s the name of the company that’s making/marketing it? Good questions, none of which are answered in any way on the PriaMax website. Not knowing who sells this product is extremely disturbing indeed, especially when it comes to something buyers will eventually ingest.

The “problem” formulated at the beginning of the homepage promotional copy is misleading as well. It states for instance that 63% of men suffer from what’s known as “small penis syndrome”. While the condition is indeed real, according to webmd.com, the percentage of men who suffer from this problem is 45%. While much smaller than advertised, that number is still high-enough to have brought an entire industry into existence, based on miracle cures and penis lengthening solutions.

priamax official site

Nothing on the PriaMax webpage really holds any water though, and nothing makes PriaMax stand out from the multitude of other similar anti-ED supplements, in any way. One is almost tempted to think that the people pushing these schemes and products simply stick a new label onto their supplement-bottles once their previous scheme is exhausted and debunked.

Fake PriaMax Reviews

If you run a search on PriaMax, you will find that there is no shortage of reviews about the product, pushed almost exclusively by shady operators, fake websites and second-tier scammers, looking to cash in on the hype they themselves create. Some of these fake PriaMax reviews are quite detailed, although when it comes to dissecting the ingredients, they sometimes fail to provide the same list of extracts.

Others shine a light on some of the major holes in the PriaMax narrative, only to end up concluding that the supplement is indeed legitimate. One can’t help but notice that these reviews are – without exception – badly written and rife with glaring grammatical mistakes. Some of them hardly make sense…

priamax reviews on other sites

Others stray into ridicule. There’s one such piece, probably intended as a fake testimonial, which references Brad Pitt’s use of the same product. Angelina Jolie is quoted in it too, “making” one ridiculous, hair raising and cringe-worthy comment after the other, complete with bad grammar and limited vocabulary.

brad pitt and angelina jolie priamax

Obviously, this bit is advertised as having been covered by Fox news, CNN, Yahoo, AOL and Doctor Oz too, among others. In fact, there’s probably an attempt there too, to make it seem like the post itself is hosted by Fox News.

It also has to be noted that some of these reviews are focused on the muscle-building characteristics of PriaMax, and not on the ED-angle. Such reviews don’t shy away from adding certain ingredients to the concoction not confirmed by the official site.

While the hype-system behind the product is indeed well organized and apparently efficient too, the explanations offered in regards to its ingredients and mechanism of action are less so.

PriaMax Ingredients

The list of PriaMax ingredients featured at the official site is a fairly run-of-the-mill one. It is essentially the same as that of every other similar product out there. We have Boron, Saw Palmetto, Horny Goat Weed extract, Tongkat Ail extract, Nettle extract and Orchic substance.

What do these components do though? Are they really likely to deliver any of the promised results? The problem with these allegedly natural compounds is that there is a lot of anecdotal evidence and pseudo-science around them, therefore one cannot summarily dismiss them. Several of the plant-based compounds claimed to be included in the PriaMax formula are indeed known as aphrodisiacs in popular culture, though it has to be pointed out that there are no guarantees the stated extracts are indeed included in the actual product.

Saw Palmetto is known as a more or less efficient inhibitor of 5-alpha-reductase, therefore capable of inhibiting the formation of Dihydrotestosterone, a very potent form of testosterone, held responsible for male pattern baldness. The theory is that by blocking the “burning” of testosterone into DHT, Saw Palmetto extract will increase one’s free testosterone levels. While there is anecdotal evidence concerning benefic effects of Saw Palmetto on benign prostate hyperplasia (another DHT-linked disorder), there is little to no solid scientific evidence concerning the mechanisms through which it acts, or its claimed effects.

Boron is a trace element which apparently impacts the way the body deals with magnesium and phosphorus. According to webmd, it is in fact a promoter of estrogen production in women as well as men.  As such, its presence would obviously be counterproductive in the PriaMax formula. There are other sources out there which claim that boron increases serum testosterone levels, so there’s at least a little confusion in this regard.

Horny Goat weed, scientifically known as Epidemium species, is very legit though. Apparently, Icariin, which is the main active compound in the plant-extract, has scientifically been proven to exert effects which may be useful for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction. Most studies, like this one, were done on rats though, so more work is needed in this regard too, although the outlook is indeed bright.

Stinging Nettle (Urtica Dioica), on the other hand, has been shown to adversely impact testosterone production. Like Saw Palmetto, it too seems to work through the inhibition of 5-alpha-reductase. It impedes the formation of DHT, and it is thus useful in the management of benign prostate hyperplasia.

Orchic substance has also been hyped as a testosterone booster, although there are apparently no proper studies supporting this proposition.

Where To Buy Priamax

If you want to buy PriaMax, you’d better hurry, because they’re nearly out of stock (no surprises there). You should really think twice about giving out your credit card information though, because – while the free trial will set you back around $3 – you will be enrolled in a monthly auto-shipping scheme, and you will be forced to pay up. As the sale-making point of this high-pressure marketing scheme, the checkout tops off what essentially amounts to a relatively well put-together scam.

Conclusion

While there might be some scientific substance in the claims regarding the alleged ingredients of this supplement, there are no guarantees whatsoever that the said components are indeed present. Mind you though, even if they are all there, PriaMax will most likely not have any kind of effect on ED.

The high pressure sales tactics and the bold promises cast aside, all you’re left with is a thinly disguised scheme to lift some money off your credit card, with your permission no less. Don’t fall for it.

Test Boost Elite Review

Test Boost Elite Overview

It’s no secret that most guys who watch sports envy certain athletes.

We marvel at their athletic ability, watch them perform seemingly “super hero” like feats with ease, and in general admire the way they play.

So when we see an article about one of them using a particular diet, exercise, or supplement, our eyes and ears perk up.

I saw the perfect example of this right after the Superbowl this year.

Lots of guys want to know what Tom Brady eats, but after he won MVP this past February, searches for “Tom Brady Diet” went through the freakin roof.

/wp content/files/2017/03/tom brady diet

So I was browsing through my Facebook feed today and came across an ad that says, “MJ puts LeBron on blast.”

test boost elite facebook ad

I am not usually one to click on ads, but for some reason this title got my attention.

So for research purposes and despite all objections to clicking ads on the Internet, boom, click.  Half expecting my computer to freeze up, I was pleasantly surprised when I was sent to the ESPN website.

Cool, let’s see what ESPN has to say.

test boost elite espn

Apparently, according to this article, LeBron James is under investigation by the NBA, as he may be consuming a banned nutritional supplement.  Well truthfully, James does look like he’s on something, that guy is ripped, so this wouldn’t be that huge of a surprise.  Now, I just want to know what he is taking so I can decide whether I might want to partake.

According to the website, LeBron James has been telling close friends and teammates about a product that significantly increases testosterone in only weeks.  In the middle of the article, the product that LeBron James apparently uses to burn fat and add a huge amount of muscle is revealed.

It’s Called Test Boost Elite

After that, this article goes on to say that this supplement is clinically proven to:

 • Increase strength by 145% and triple stamina, meaning that it offers an unfair advantage, likely falling under the definition of doping.  And,
 • You don’t have to go to the gym while you’re using these.

So now I can get ripped sitting in front of my TV eating Lays?

I am not a genius, but I am pretty sure that goes against the classic scientific understanding on how muscles undergo hypertrophy.

At that point, the article goes on to say that ESPN sponsors apparently sampled a month supply of Test Boost Elite in order to analyze the results and determine whether this product actually works.  As I scrolled further down the page, the apparent editor of this article (Ryan Hasman) used it for a period of one both and had INSANE results.

Here’s his before and after picture from using Test Boost Elite

test boost elite before and after

I quickly realized that this entire article is complete B.S.

Well, How Do I Know This?

Test Boost Elite Fake Marketing

Wee, for starters, if you got back to that same website right now, instead of them talking about Test Boost Elite they’re talking about a completely different supplement called Platinum XT Test Booster.

So, you have the before and after photo for Test Boost Elite above, and you have the EXACT same before and after for Platinum XT test booster below.

platinum xt test booster review

That before and after picture you’re seeing above is not REALLY some editor over at ESPN magazine.

In fact, it’s none other than Gert Lou, a professional body builder who participated in a Bodybuilding.com Body Transformation.

/wp content/files/2017/03/gert lou before and after

As I kept on reading, I quickly realized this definitely doesn’t seem like the typical ESPN article.  So I went up and checked the domain name again.

/wp content/files/2017/03/fake espn

Ah, now I understand how the webmaster of this site attempts to trick readers into believing that this article is really written by ESPN.  While the first section of the domain name says ESPN.com, after that is “live news . online”.

So in all reality, this is a .online website that is trying to make readers believe that it is ESPN.  In other words, this website is trying to capitalize on the credibility of ESPN to push a supplement, in this case Test Boost Elite.

Truthfully, this fake ESPN website looks pretty good, especially at first.

However, talk about shady marketing tactics that are clearly illegal.  Not only is it an insult to the reader, ESPN, and especially Gert Lou, as there is no way he gave his permission to use his photo, but, it is an insult to humanity as a whole.

How these websites are still legally online, trying to separate hard-working people from their money is a mystery to me.

Another question is, why does Facebook allow these scam ads on their website?

People who use Facebook often believe they are receiving credible information, but it obviously appears that this isn’t the case.  The webmaster of sites like this (there are a lot) should be publicly humiliated or at least get a real job, those ditches aren’t going to dig themselves.

Anyway, after the picture of Gert Lou, the results of using Test Boost Elite (or Platinum XT Test Booster) are listed week by week.

test boost elite results

Clearly, these results are completely fictitious, but as you can imagine, in one month, a net loss of 19 pounds was recorded.  This fake website even has the gall to say that, “everyone else at ESPN is kicking themselves for not volunteering to be the guinea pig in the Test Boost Elite trial.”  Right…

But wait, the conclusion below the article adds insult to injury by saying that “here at ESPN”, and now I paraphrase, “you might be doubtful about the effects of this product, but the results are real.”

It then goes on to encourage readers to click on the link to the product so they can get their hands on it…with a free trial of Test Boost Elite.

After that, there are a number of fake Facebook comments claiming that everyone is losing weight and gaining strength after using this product for only three weeks.

Blah, blah, I hate fake marketing websites.

Test Boost Elite Free Trial Isn’t So Free!

test boost elite reviewsI have nothing to lose right, as Test Boost Elite is allegedly offered through a free trial.  Oh wait, anyone who has seen any of these types of products realizes that the “free trial” is simply a gimmick in order to gain access to a user’s credit card information and then charge them an exorbitant amount of money month after month, while making it nearly impossible to cancel future orders.

Is Test Boost Elite more of the same?

Just based on the fake ESPN website ad, I would have to assume so.

As I clicked on the ‘Claim my Free Bottle’, I was led to a sales page that I’ve seen many times before.  Basically, the people that use this sales template have the same exact models, the same exact format, but simply change the name on the supplement bottle.

So, today it’s Test Boost Elite.

Tomorrow it’s Platinum XT test boost.

The day after that it’s Alpha Monster Advanced.

And round and round it goes…

Of course, a sales page like this is extremely vague and is based on targeting emotions, encouraging readers to sign up for the free trial as quickly as possible.

So while I already know that this free trial is simply a scam, based on everything I have seen so far, let me go ahead and fill in some fictitious information so I can get to the order page.

No surprises here, the goal of the order page is to encourage users to make an emotional decision, as they only have 5 minutes to put in their credit card information and click send.  Of course, this product is claimed to be nearly out of stock so people who don’t act quickly are led to believe that it may be gone before they sign up for the free trial.

The Truth About The Test Boost Elite Free Trial

Please don’t fall for these shady offers.  While it may seem good on the surface, as users only have to pay $4.95 for shipping and handling, the ultimate goal is to get the credit card information on file so the company can eventually charge people, generally, 10 to 15 days after they sign up for the free trial.

15 days?  There is no way that anyone can make a decision regarding the quality of a product in that short of time.  That is exactly the point!  In the end, users are left with bottles of a supplement that they don’t even know what to do with and numerous credit card charges that they have to fight.

At the bottom in small print and hardly noticeable, the gory details are revealed.

test boost elite terms and conditions

It states that 15 days after signing up for the free trial (don’t click send!), a participant will be billed for $89.47.  So that seems like a ridiculous amount of money for this supplement doesn’t it?  But it gets worse, every 30 days after that participants will be again charged $89.47, while receiving another bottle of Test Boost Elite for as long as they remain in the auto ship program.  At the very bottom, it says that users can call the phone number (888) 752-2911 to cancel at any time.

I wouldn’t be so sure.

In most cases, canceling an order is easier said than done, as these fly-by-night companies are difficult to get in contact with because they realize that the only way they are going to continue collecting money is if they continue charging people month after month.

In all reality, people who fall prey to this scam are likely going to have to call their credit card company to fight the charges and cancel any future billing.  Since this is going to take time, require unnecessary phone calls, and just be a giant headache, avoid taking part in the free trial or purchasing this product to begin with.

Test Boost Elite Conclusion

The number of generic testosterone boosting supplements, such as Test Boost Elite, on the market that simply slap a new label on  the bottle and use scandalous advertising techniques in order to peddle it are growing by the day.  Since you now know what the end game strategy is, getting users to sign up for a “free trial” and gaining access to credit card information, you can spot these scams from a mile away.

Free Trial Supplement Scams – The Ugly Truth

Years ago, we started talking about so-called free trial scams that seemed to be taking the internet by storm. At that time, I had no idea that today, five or six years later, these scams would not only still be around, but they’d be more prolific than ever.

If you’ve spent much time at all searching for great supplements, whether it’s for bodybuilding, male enhancement, or nootropic support, you know what I’m talking about. If you’re just starting out, no doubt you’ll find out soon enough.

Hopefully, you’re seeing this before you get screwed over, or at the very least, in time to stem the damage before it goes too far. Either way, read on to find out what these scams are all about, why they do it, how they work, and what you can do to protect yourself and your wallet against them.

Note:  If you’ve been the victim of a free trial scam, and are looking to cancel your trial, Click Here Now to see a list of phone numbers to call.

False Advertising

Exaggerated advertising is nothing new. Does anybody really think “Red Bull gives you wings?” Probably not, but that didn’t stop the company from using the slogan for over 20 years.

Free Trial Scam Red Bull Gives You Wings

In the end, Red Bull was sued and had to pay customers $10 each as part of the settlement. It might make you believe someone out there has your back, and is at least trying to keep companies honest. But false, exaggerated, and tricky advertising is still rampant, and the supplement industry is a perfect example.

Large Online Presence

For various reasons, supplements are one of the largest categories of products with a huge percentage of their sales occurring online. Since people take and use supplements continually month after month, the convenience of online ordering plays a significant role in this fact. In a lot of cases, customers can sign up for monthly orders so they never run out, and they have one less thing to worry about. This is no doubt a great option for people who are certain they’re getting what they need from a supplement. But in the case of some online supplement suppliers, they’ve taken this convenience factor several steps too far, to the point that they take advantage of the unique combination of despair and hopefulness with which many customers approach the industry.

The Pitch

It starts almost immediately after you first begin your search. Type “pre workout supplement” into Google, click on one or two of the top few results, and they’ve got you. Before you know it, targeted ads start showing up on all your social media feeds.

No supplement category is immune.

You’ll see ads for cognitive brain boosters, affectionately known as Nootropics…

cogniflex nbc

Ads for weight loss pills and fat burners…

fat burn x mel gibson

and everything in between.

It’s on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, you name it.

It’s genius really. They know you’re in the market for their products, so they put them right in front of you. Of course you’ll click the link. especially if you see the word “free” in it somewhere.

On top of the “free” angle, they also want you to believe the hottest, most trending celebrities and athletes are using this very same supplement (or supplement stack) to get their massively sculpted bodies ready for their next role or the upcoming season.

Take a look at this image of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It’s used in several supplement ads:

Free Trial Scam Rock Pic

Notice the wording: “Hollywood Elites LIKE Dwayne Johnson use muscle supplements LIKE X Ripped and T Complex…” They never actually say The Rock uses these supplements. They almost say it, they imply it, they come “this close” to saying it.

They certainly want you to think they said it. But if the law ever comes knocking, they can truthfully state they never “actually” said it.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how these supplement scammers operate. They start out with half-truths and false promises about how great their products are, and it just gets worse from there.

Oh, and did I mention they all use the same advertisement, nearly word for word? Sometimes exactly word for word. They switch out the products, but that’s about it. Everything else is just about the same. So for example, here’s that same image of the Rock, only this time, he supposedly uses supplements LIKE Alpha Cut HD and Alpha Fuel HD:

the rock alpha cut and alpha fuel image

Are you starting to see how this works?

It’s a simple plug and play job. They have the framework all set up. All they need to do is plug in the names of the different pills, and they’re ready to go.

This is how they get you interested. They know you want to get in better shape. That’s what targeted advertising does for them – it helps then narrow their market to people they know want the purported benefits. Next they play on your insecurities. They show you image after image of celebrities in great shape, making you believe (wrongly) that these products are what got them that way.

Guys, Dwayne Johnson has personal trainers, dietitians, nutritionists, personal chefs, and access to the best gyms and equipment. AND he gets paid to look like he does!

Or to put it another way, how his body looks is directly related to his making a crap-load of money. Talk about incentive! X Ripped and T Complex did NOT give him his body.

The Rock has never even heard of these products. But thousands of guys read an “article” like this and think they’re his new go-to solution for muscle and strength.

I’m positive some of you are reading this thinking,

“I don’t believe you, Rob. They can’t say The Rock uses something when he doesn’t. There are laws against that sort of thing”.

And you’re right on one point – there are laws about that sort of thing. That’s why they never come right out and say Dwayne Johnson uses these products. They very cleverly say that he uses products “like these”. Small difference in meaning, huge difference in legality. I promise you, Dwayne Johnson does not use X Ripped and T Complex, or any of the other stacks that use his likeness.

I know I know, “but how do you KNOW, Rob?”

That is a valid question. Very shortly, I will provide the answer.

For now, let’s get back to those ads for a second. If you scroll down past the celebrity hook, in most cases, you’ll get to the part where the author talks about his experience. The writer goes through a week by week breakdown of how he was feeling while he used the stack. Sometimes, the writer has a name. Sometimes he doesn’t. But here’s the thing. Dozens of different stacks use the EXACT SAME STATEMENTS, word for word. The only thing they change is, once again, the name of the product.

This guy, whether they use his name or not, hasn’t actually used all of these supplements and gotten the exact same results, and used the same exact words to describe them. To think he had would be ridiculous. Yet this doesn’t stop the scammers from putting these ads out there, pretending they’re independent articles.

Take a look at what I mean. Here are the WEEK TWO RESULTS of “Seth McGuire” who says he used X Ripped and T Complex:

X Ripped and T Complex Results Image

Now here are the WEEK TWO RESULTS of a writer talking about Muscle Boost X and Testoboost. They don’t use his name, but use an image instead:
Week two results muscle boost x and testoboost image

Notice in this one, they don’t even bother using the actual product names. This way it’s even easier to copy and paste the paragraphs and splice together the ad for the next hyped up stack.

You may ask again, “But Rob, how can he say he used it and got these results, when he really didn’t?” The answer to this one is very simple. If you look real hard at any of these scam articles, you’ll find a disclaimer. Some are brief, with only one vague statement that the article isn’t an article at all, but really an “Advertorial”. Gotta love the lingo, right? It’s a cross between “advertisement” and “editorial”. Others are more fleshed out, explaining away every possible misconception.

I came across one written by Men’s Health Life Publications that lists several. It starts with:

MENSHEALTHLIFE THIS IS ADVERTISEMENT IMAGE

Following that headline is a list of disclaimers that includes the following facts:

 • The content is sponsored by the supplement makers.
 • The featured celebrities do not endorse the products.
 • The company has no affiliation with the news media.
 • The webpage/article provides links that if you click them, provides the company with compensation.

And here’s the big kicker – the real evidence that these articles are completely fake. I’ve inserted a screen shot of it here because frankly, it’s so blatant a disclaimer, I’m not sure you’d believe me if I didn’t provide the proof:
Free Trial Big Disclaimer Image

Starting to believe there’s a problem here? We haven’t even scratched the surface. Sure, there’s the false advertising side of the equation, and that’s bad enough on its own. But if this makes you angry, just wait to you find out about how the the “Free Trial”scam itself works.

But If It’s Free, What’s the Harm in Trying?

Free trial supplement offers are all over the internet, not just with these “celebrity muscle stack” scams. In addition to workout supplements, the technique is popular with the diet pills, male sexual performance pills and brain boosting/nootropic supplements as well. They get a captive audience, people looking to improve their lives, and they offer them something that looks like it can really help… for free. What could be better than that?

The truth is it’s not free at all, and that’s the the harm in trying.

The Free Trial Scam Explained

The word “free” has long been known in the advertising world to be one of the most effective ways to get a potential customer’s attention. Of course, in most cases, free turns out to be anything but. You may get “something” free, but it’s probably not what you thought you’d be getting or not how you thought you’d be getting it.

When it comes to free trial online supplement scams, here’s the basic sketch of how it works:

 1. They hook you in with a promise of a “free trial”. Just pay a small shipping fee and the product is yours.
 2. But once you fork over your address and credit card number to pay that small shipping fee and they send you the product, they’ve got you right where they want you.
 3. A short time later, usually 14 days, they charge you full price for what you thought you were getting for free.
 4. AND they charge you that same full price every month, month after month, until you figure out that you have to call them and cancel your “subscription”.

Most customers are taken completely off guard by the additional charges. Like we mentioned above, they have no idea they’ve signed up for a subscription at all.

A lot of us consider ourselves savvy consumers. We’ve been around the block a few times, and as such, we don’t just jump at offers that look too good to be true. We look around the website, we read through the whole offer. And we try to find the catch. Some people – less experienced consumers perhaps – jump in with both feet without much forethought or concern, but most have at least an inkling that there must be a catch. So what are they missing?

Terms and Conditions

If you take anything away from this article at all, I hope it’s the fact that finding and reading the Terms and Conditions of any offer is extremely important, especially those that look too good to be true.

That’s one of the things that makes this scam so infuriating. A lot of customers look for the scam, they don’t see it, so they move forward for the price of shipping. This is why they are so incredibly angry when they finally do find out they’ve been scammed. Readers often write to me swearing that they were never informed of the terms. But TECHNICALLY, they were informed. The information is there. They just make it as difficult as possible to find.

Take the example of Alphadrox. Here’s what you’ll see if you click a link to the free trial offer:

Free Trial Alphadrox Trial Image

No mention at all of a subscription or of future commitments to pay. No mention that the trial has an expiration date at all, much less that it’s only 14 days from now.

Then if you enter your personal information and click “Rush Order”, you’ll get here:

Free trial billing page image
There several things to notice here, not the least of which is what you don’t see. You don’t see any mention of a subscription here, and it doesn’t say anything about the trial lasting only 14 days. In fact, the only mention of a time frame at all is where they say you’ll get a 30-day supply.

The only way you’ll know about any of this is if you actively click on the “Terms” link. If you do and you scroll down a bit, you’ll finally see what the free trial is really all about:

Alphadrox Terms Page Image

And there you have it. The existence of this page is what allows them to make charges to your credit card that you never knowingly authorized. You have every right to be pissed off, and a lot of people think there may be legal recourse against the scammers, but as scummy and deceitful as this setup is, it’s not illegal because they do publish the terms.

You Got Scammed! Now What?

I get emails every day from readers who are absolutely livid because they now understand that they’ve been scammed, and either they don’t know what to do about it or they are having a great deal of difficulty navigating their way out of it.

Here’s one I got just the other day from Chris:

You’re spot on. I was 1 day late in canceling and they stung me for $280AUD , but they didn’t really cancel the order so 2 weeks later – bam another $280AUD , I rang up screaming and ordered a confirmation email that the order had been canceled, and told them that as soon as the product arrived in the mail I’d be requesting a return and refund, they said that they would issue an RMA number to return the product, guess what, the first product arrives I call for an RMA and they say, oh sorry you have lodged a dispute through the bank you will have to go that way now, so I call the bank, no dispute had been lodged but now I have to, and the bank explains it will take 6 weeks and the company can lodge there reasons for not repaying, so good luck to me, and be warned, Hyper Tone Force is and very big SCAM.

Chris’ email points out the difficulty so many customers face once they figure out they’ve been scammed and they’re trying to figure out how to stop the bleeding. Any company that will hide the actual terms of their offer have NO INTEREST WHATSOVER and making sure their customers are well taken care of. Chances are when you figure out you’re being charged and you try to end the program or get a refund, they have no intention of making it easy for you. I have heard from a few customers that they had little or no trouble canceling, but many many more find themselves in a nightmare of long hold times and no real resolution for weeks, or even months.

What To Do

If you realize you’ve been “free trial scammed,” here’s what you need to do:

 1. The first thing to do is call the company to cancel any future shipments and payments. If you can find the product website again, there should be a contact number there. If you have no luck there, check our Free Trial Cancellation Number Page. It’s a list of contact numbers we’ve built over the years with the help of readers. If you can’t find the number there, look at the transaction on your credit card statement. There should be a phone number listed with it. If not, call your bank or credit card company. They should have a valid contact number. They may even be able to initiate a 3-way call with you and the company. When you cancel, be sure to ask for email confirmation, in case you need to prove later that you made the call.
 2. If you’re lucky, the first step will go smoothly and you’ll be all set. But for lots of our readers, that’s just not the case. Some will offer a discount if you continue your subscription, or they’ll tell you you need to pay a restocking fee for returns. Don’t take the bait. Continue to insist that they cancel everything and provide the information you need to return your product for a full refund. If they persist, tell them your next call is to your State Attorney General or the Better Business Bureau.
 3. Sometimes, now matter how hard you try, you cannot find a working phone number. This goes back to the issue of these companies packing it in so often. They take your money and disappear. They exist just enough to keep billing you month after month, but there’s no way to contact them. If this is the case, contact your credit card company and tell them you don’t authorize charges from this company any longer, and initiate a fraud dispute. Some guys prefer to just cancel their card altogether to be on the safe side, but generally your credit card company will work with you.
 4. If you want to spread the word about the scammer, contact the Better Business Bureau or other consumer protection agency in your jurisdiction.

How To Avoid Being Scammed

The most important thing is to know that these scams are out there, and they’re not the exception, they’re the rule. If you’re online and you see a supplement offered on a Free or Trial basis, you can be assured that this is most likely a scam.

I think most of us assume that if there’s a catch, they have to make us agree to it ACTIVELY before they can stick it to us. But they don’t. It’s called a “Negative Option” and as long as there’s a link to the Terms, they don’t have to make you actively agree. They can just refer you to the terms later, once it’s too late because you’ve already been screwed.

Before you order a supplement online, make sure you find the Terms and read them. Look for words like “Autoship” and “Subscription,” and look for prices. These are sure signs that a free trial scam is what you’re looking at.

What If You Still Want To Try It?

Even if you know the free trial is a scam, you might decide to go ahead with it, planning to cancel before the charges kick in. This is a perfectly fine option, but there are a few steps you need to take to make sure you don’t end up on the losing end.

 1.  Find, read, and fully understand the terms of the deal.
 2. Note the date of your order, mark it on the calendar, and make another mark 12 days ahead.
 3. Write down the phone number listed on the Terms page.
 4. Call 12 days after your order date. This ensures you’re calling in time. Tell them you wish to cancel your subscription.
 5. Stay firm. They will try to entice you with discounts and perhaps additional products. Don’t take the bait. Just cancel.
 6. Ask that they send you an email confirming your cancellation.

If you follow these steps to a T, you should come out unscathed.

Final Thoughts

The free trial scam is pervasive in the online supplement market. Chances are if you haven’t come across it already, you will sometime soon. Hopefully, after reading this article, you’re more prepared, and can protect yourself. The easiest, most hassle-free way to go is not to order these supplements at all. But if you do, make sure you’re prepared to cancel in time.

If you’re here because you’ve been scammed, check our Free Trial Cancellation page for the number to call to cancel your subscription, and follow the steps above.

As shady as this practice is, it’s not illegal and it’s not going away any time soon. The best we can do is prepare ourselves to come out unscathed.

When it is difficult to sustain a boner, our manhood comes into question, at least in our own mind.

While sex may not be everything, (wait, yes it is) it is certainly a cornerstone of an enjoyable life.

This is why so many men who aren’t able to get an erection and keep their woman satisfied search for a solution to the problem no matter what it costs, while accepting any side effects that may result.

From Viagra to herbal remedies, everyone wants a piece of the lucrative ED market.

However, as in most things in life, you should be cautious about what you’re reading on the internet.

There are plenty of scam artists out there that are willing to tell you practically ANYTHING to try and get you to buy their product.

It’s truly sad that this problem exists, likely due to the faults of society, lifestyle choices, and endocrine mimicking substances common in our environment.

When it comes down to it, there may not be much we can really do to prevent this large scale problem at this point, only treat the symptoms.

Today we are going to look at one of the herbal ED remedies, known as the Peruvian Brew.

The Peruvian Brew was spawned out of a digital product called the Erect on Demand system, that of which I have a full review of here.

Should you spend your hard earned money on this mysterious mix that claims to be the cure to ED?

Let’s find out.

What Is The Peruvian Brew?

We’ve all seen the ads at one point or another.

It usually starts off with a attention grabbing headline like “1 Weird Trick Destroys Erectile Dysfunction”

/wp content/files/2017/03/weird

Yeah, something like that…

When you click on the ad, it takes you to a website like “Health Tips Weekly” that talks about some miracle trick that helps to cure ED.

peruvian brew ad

Right, something like that…

Finally, you click through from that page at it takes you to the Peruvian Brew site, where you’re presented with a ridiculously long video:

peruvian brew video

Warning:  If you’re at work when you visit their site, you may want to turn off your speakers!

The very first thing that is blurted out is “If you suffer from embarrassing erectile dysfunction…”

Might be a bit embarrassing to have that blasting from your speakers with your co-workers nearby.

Another thing I noticed that was pretty annoying was every time I tried to leave the site, I was automatically forwarded to a last ditch effort to get me to buy it.

Watch below:

[vimeo 218185977 w=540 h=480]

Basically, there was no way to get out of it, short of closing the window and opening a new one.

Also, you can’t stop the video while it’s playing, rewind it, fast forward it, or pause it.

It just plays and plays and plays.

Annoying, right?

I’ll spare you the 35 minutes and give you a brief overview of the vid below.

According to the story from the company website, a man and his wife go on vacation to Peru and are introduced to a mysterious brew that allows him to finally sustain an erection.

Apparently, the indigenous people have been using this brew, a mix of five herbs and two plant stems, for centuries in order to treat ED.

After drinking it, the best sex of his life ensues and he finally satisfies his wife.

He then goes on a hunt to identify the ingredients that are in this formula.

Apparently, according to the video and website, these Peruvian herbs are widely available and can allegedly be found at local health food stores.

However, there is no mention of what they are, as that would ultimately give away the secret.

How Does It Work?

According to the vendor, the Peruvian Brew increases penile sensitivity, the number one cause of ED.

The company website goes on to say that men who are circumcised are four times more likely to be diagnosed with ED, due to fewer nerve endings in the penis.

So while you cannot go back in time to stop the scalpel that took your foreskin, you can apparently restore penile sensitivity by drinking the Peruvian Brew.

How Is It Marketed?

One word…Annoyingly

The website that is selling the Peruvian Brew uses classic marketing tactics designed to get people to purchase this product quickly, based on emotion.

First, there is an intro video about how great sex is now (which we discussed above), with the Peruvian Brew.

Then, there is a banner across the top of the page that says that this website may be taken down in 24 hours because the owner doesn’t want to be known as the “boner guy”.

/wp content/files/2017/03/peruvian brew marketing

However, I bet that if I come back to this website in a week it will still be there and the boner guy will now be a richer boner guy.

The next line states that I have been selected to try Erect On Demand risk-free.

If only I was this lucky when I played the Powerball.

Anything “free” on the Internet is always scary, as I always seem to end up paying for these types of programs or potions in the end.

Usually, this process involves trying to get a hold of the company that gave me the “free trial” to cancel it and when that fails, calling my credit card company to cancel the charge, all in all, just one gigantic headache.

According to the website, Peruvian Brew was seen on Men’s Health, Golf Digest, and even in Playboy magazine.

peruvian brew mens health, GQ, Golf Digest, and Playboy

Let’s look a little bit further into that and see if this is actually true.

So I went to the Men’s Health website and searched for Peruvian Brew, but zero results turned up.

peruvian brew mens health

That’s not a good sign, but certainly not surprising.

This appears to be just another one of those websites that are making up fictitious information in order to peddle their product.

Anyone who has to resort to these tactics in order to market their product aren’t worth doing business with.

Automatically Forwarded To The Order Page

Without even clicking on anything, the website redirected me to the order page.

Talk about making assumptions.

(During the course of reading through the marketing copy and trying to find what ingredients are in Peruvian Brew, I was automatically sent to the order page three times!)

Since I wanted to read the original marketing page, I went back and was greeted with a prompt asking me if I really want to leave, more black hat marketing techniques.

Going back to the original page, the rest of the ad copy is focused on instilling shame in men who are unable to satisfy their women because they suffer from “humiliating erectile dysfunction”.

Further down the page, the owner of this website again makes it clear that he doesn’t want to be known as the “boner guy”, as he is getting too many request for TV interviews.

Right…

What a modest guy, huh?

So Who Is Josh Harding?

Well, for starters, he is not Josh Harding.  Instead, the domain for the company website is owned by Alex Williams.

Alex Williams does business under Fairlight Scientific, LLC. (Source)  He owns a number of other websites too, like Edge Bioactives, and some others as seen below.

Wow, the Peruvian Brew company website is receiving almost 10,000 visitors a day.

Well, Alex Williams, I believe YOU are the boner guy!

Don’t let it get you down, there are worse things to be known as.

Back To The Website

At the middle of this enormously long marketing copy, the focus is on fear, the greatest known motivator to mankind.

This is emphasized by a quote that says, “4 out of 5 women would cheat on a man who can’t get an erection.”

What could be scarier than that?

The website goes on to say that your “flaccid erections” may give your wife or girlfriend a reason to cheat on you.

So now we enter fight mode.

Get out that credit card now!

After that, the website shifts to how the owner found the Peruvian Brew, deep in the jungle of Peru.

The way this website is talking up the Peruvian Brew, this better be nothing short of Ayahuasca.

Quit Leaving Me In The Dark, WTF Is It?

Well, this is where the website gets vague, apparently the Peruvian Brew has four different herbs, one amino acid, and two fruits.

peruvian brew ingredients

OK, but what herbs, amino acids, and fruits are contained in this formula so I can just make my own?

No, it’s just not that simple.

While this site is simply awful, third party sites selling the Peruvian Brew are even worse.

Be Wary Of Third Parties Selling The Peruvian Brew

Other websites aiming to sell the Peruvian Brew also make claims that this product was discussed on CNN, ABC News, and again, Men’s Health.

Let me assure you, it was not.

I am pretty sure that even Alex Jones didn’t talk about the Peruvian Brew.

Basically, these websites are simply trying to trick you into giving credibility and ultimately, clicking on any of their links that redirect to other offers.

Who Makes It?

According to the company, the Peruvian Brew is made in a GMP certified laboratory from a company known as Edge Bioactives, as discussed earlier, based out of New Jersey, that doesn’t have any customer ratings on the BBB.

Edge Bioactives actually sells another product called Spartagen XT, which I’ve personally tested.

The Ingredients In Peruvian Brew

The company doesn’t say and most other reputable websites don’t know either.  Any company that doesn’t list what is in its formula is a giant red flag to me.

Who do you think you are, Coca Cola?

Fortunately, I was able to track down the ingredients in this formula.

The Peruvian Brew contains Gingko biloba, Dong quai, Epimedium, Korean ginseng, Maca root, Yohimbe, L-Arginine, Black pepper, and Pineapple concentrate.

Here’s a quick snapshot of the label:

peruvian brew ingredients label

I have to admit, there’s really nothing “secret” about this formula.  There are literally HUNDREDS of other male enhancement supplements that contain nearly identical ingredients such as these, including Libido Max, Noxitril, and Zyrexin.

The one notable exception would be Bioperine.  Bioperine is essentially black pepper extract, and is used as an additional ingredient for it’s effectiveness at helping you absorb more of a nutrient or vitamin than you normally would.

There aren’t too many supplement companies that add this to their list of ingredients, mainly because it’s sort of pricey.

My Personal Results

peruvian brew real reviewI finally got a chance to try out the Peruvian Brew for a week, and I have to admit, it worked a lot better than I thought it would.

The directions on the label state that you should add 1 level scoop to 8 oz of cold water, and shake thoroughly.

You’re supposed to do this about 1 hour prior to sexual activity.

The taste is kind of hard to describe.

It’s like a mix of peach and coffee with a sugary aftertaste.

After doing a little bit of research, it looks like the reason why it tastes like coffee is that Maca has a mildly nutty and hint of butterscotch taste.

One thing is for sure, and that is it will hit you pretty quickly.

For me, I had only taken about 3 sips over the course of 15 minutes or so, and I could feel a tingle in my groin area.

Within 30 minutes I had one of the biggest boners I’ve had in recent memory.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have my girlfriend here to “test out its purity”, but I will say this, that boner did NOT want to go away for several hours.

I ended up rubbing one out and it was one of the most intense orgasms I think I’ve ever had.

How Much Does The Peruvian Brew Cost?

The Peruvian Brew is offered in a 1 month supply, 3 month supply, and 6 month supply.

One month of the Peruvian brew cost $69, three months worth is valued at $177, and six months of the Peruvian brew comes in at $294.

Since the website literally states that the four herbs in this product are valued at $0.30 and the amino acid is $10 for a month supply, $69 a month for the Peruvian brew is clearly excessive.

Not only that, but this seems like an awfully large amount of money for a product that doesn’t even say exactly what is in it.

You won’t find the Peruvian brew in stores like GNC, Walmart, Vitamin Shoppe, or Walgreens, so don’t even bother looking.

User Reviews On The Peruvian Brew

User reviews on the Peruvian Brew haven’t been overly optimistic.

While there aren’t many available, the only ones that I have seen are 1 star ratings that indicate that this product is not as viable as the vendors claim.

If you have used the Peruvian Brew system, I invite you to leave a review below.

It will REALLY help out guys who are on the fence about trying it.

Conclusion

After finally getting a chance to test it out, I personally think the Peruvian Brew is a GREAT ED remedy.

If you’ve been having trouble in the bedroom department, I can say with 99% confidence that this will probably bring your boners back to life.

However, I can’t stand the marketing.

If they would just shorten their video to like a 5 minute recap of everything, they may get their point across more efficiently.

The price is a little on the high side as well, and I have tested other products that work roughly about the same, at a fraction of the cost.

I give it 5 stars for the effectiveness, but 2 stars for the presentation and marketing.

Conclusion

In this review I’m going to be talking about a highly controversial, but highly effective, substance called Kratom.  Kratom is technically not a drug, and technically not a supplement.

It has garnered just as much controversy and negative attention as it has glowing reviews of it being a miracle cure for pain and other problems.

It fits in one of those gray areas I like to call “Supplement Purgatory”.

Specifically in this review I’m going to be talking about Happy Hippo Herbals, which is a medium sized company that sells a wide variety of Kratom strains.

With pharmaceutical companies trying to shove prescriptions like Xanax, down our throat, it is nice to know that we still have access to natural painkillers like kratom and anti-anxiety products like Phenibut.

Related article:  3 BEST Over The Counter Xanax Alternatives (UPDATED 2018)

However, with legislation pushing to make such products illegal, who knows when they will be universally blacklisted?  In fact, kratom has already been banned in Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Tennessee, Vermont, Wisconsin, and some parts of Florida.

Additionally, back in September of 2016, the DEA announced that it was placing the alkaloids in Kratom on the Schedule I drugs list, making it just as illegal as heroin.

Remember what we were taught in school?  We live in the Land of the Free!

No, apparently not.

If you live in an area of the country where kratom is still legal, great!  However, be aware that there are many vendors who sell low-quality products or even counterfeit products so it is imperative to buy from a trusted source.  When I buy kratom and Phenibut I go straight for the best, Happy Hippo Herbals, as they never let me down.  For me, having access to the highest quality herbals is at the top of my list.

What is Kratom?

Kratom review

For people who have never heard of kratom, I present to you a plant that could literally change your life.  Anyone who is dealing with constant pain may benefit by using this natural alternative to prescription pain relievers.

In fact, many people have been able to give up prescription drugs like OxyCodone and Vicodin by replacing them with kratom.

Here inherently lies the problem, as the pharmaceutical companies aim to completely monopolize the health industry and don’t like competition to some of their top selling drugs.

This has resulted in a government lobbying program in order to make plants like kratom illegal.  Anyone who has experienced the benefits of kratom or believes in freedom should write a letter to their congressperson so they can properly represent what the people really want.

Unfortunately, many people are having to go back to more dangerous and less natural alternatives that are federally legal because of it becoming illegal in their respective states.

How Does Kratom Work?

How Does Kratom Work

Kratom contains a number of alkaloids including Mitragynine and 7-Hydroxymitragynine. (Source)  Both of these phytochemicals are similar to opiate like compounds, but with far fewer user side effects.  This means that people who require pain relief can experience the positive benefits of kratom, without serious withdrawal, tolerance, and constipation issues.

There are a number of different types of kratom, so anyone who is first experimenting with this plant should take advantage of the beginner pack, offered by Happy Hippo Herbals, as it has a wide variety of options to choose from.  By experimenting with different versions of kratom, a beginner can choose from a smorgasbord and hone in on the strain or strains that are perfect for them.

Newbie Hippo Starter Pack

Newbie Hippo Starter Pack

People who want to experiment with a few varieties of kratom, from relaxed to active, should try out the Newbie Hippo Starter Pack.  This starter pack contains 1 ounce of high activity kratom like Hyper Hippo, 1 ounce of Happy Hippo, and 1 ounce of Sleepy Hippo.  With a total of 3 ounces, behold the spectrum of kratom.

Ideally, begin experimenting with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon kratom, as that should be a sufficient dose for most people.  If not, take a little bit more in 45 minutes and reevaluate the results.

Happy Hippo I

happy hippo 1 review

My personal favorite strain for helping to get things done and just feel good overall would be Happy Hippo I.  HHI is a moderate strain of Kratom that may help support energy levels, as well as pro social behavior.

For me, it seems to work very effectively at helping me get stuff done, whether it be physical or mental work.

Occasionally I will mix Happy Hippo I with other strains like Happy Hippo 2 (more on that one below) and Magic Hippo.

Happy Hippo 2

Happy Hippo 2 review

Happy Hippo 2 is another moderate strain that seems to help me get stuff done.  The interesting thing to note is that, while Happy Hippo 1 seems to help with both physical AND mental work, Happy Hippo 2 seems to only help me get physical work done.

When I take Happy Hippo 2 I don’t feel any sort of surge in concentration or focus, it just seems to help motivate me to do physical activities.

Everyone responds differently to different types of Kratom, so you may have a totally opposite effect.

Maeng Da Elite Green (Hyper Hippo)

Maeng Da Elite Green

Maeng Da is the most popular strain of kratom, as it offers a surge of energy.  The Maeng Da provided by Happy Hippo Herbals has been processed down to remove the stem and vein that is generally undesirable.  The final product is a vibrant, green powder that is the freshest available to people in the United States.  At a price of only $15 an ounce, this is the best way to experience high grade kratom.

I’ve personally used this, and I think it’s one of the best strains Happy Hippo has to offer.  Just be advised that it does have a tendency to cause anxiety, so try to use the lowest dose possible when using this strain.

Sumatra Red (Magic Hippo)

Sumatra Red Magic Hippo review

Sumatra Red, otherwise known as Magic Hippo, is an excellent strain of kratom that needs to be experienced in order to believe it.  There is a reason why it is called magic.

Many take this strain to experience both the euphoric and pain relieving properties of kratom.

Personally speaking, this is probably my favorite strain for relaxing, reducing anxiety, and helping with sleep.

Sumatra Yellow

Sumatra Yellow

On the complete opposite side of the spectrum is Sumatra Yellow, a version of kratom that results in drowsiness.  Taking this version of kratom before going to sleep should allow the dreams to set in quickly.

For me, I didn’t get this effect.

In fact, Sumatra Yellow is probably one of the only strains that Happy Hippo has to offer that I didn’t get much of an effect at all.

I’ve only used it a handful of times, though, so it may have just been a bad batch.

Smiley Horned Hippo

smiley horned hippo review

This strain is characterized as “very slow”, which means that it provides the most relaxing, anti anxiety, pain-free effects.

I can confirm this.

Magic Hippo used to be the slowest strain I’ve ever tested, but after testing Smiley Horned several times, I can confirm it is the slowest strain Happy Hippo carries (from my personal experience, at least).

For me, the effects of this version hit pretty swiftly.

Usually it can take as long as 45 – 60 min. to feel the full effects of ANY version of kratom.

Not so with this one.

Smiley horned seems to hit pretty hard, usually taking just a few minutes for the initial onset of effects, and topping out after about 30 – 40 minutes.

There are so many other versions of kratom to choose from and each have their unique effects so beginners should experiment until they find the strains that meets their needs.

I plan on updating this review with more strains as I test them.

Happy Hippo Phenibut

Happy Hippo Phenibut

Phenibut was created in Soviet Union in the 1960s and has since been used to treat anxiety, depression, insomnia, alcoholism, and a number of other conditions.  Currently, many are using Phenibut as a nootropic agent, as it has the ability to improve cerebral function.  Since Phenibut is similar to the neurotransmitter GABA, it mimics it in many respects.  The real advantage that Phenibut has over other anti-anxiety drugs is its ability to lower stress without making users drowsy or lowering performance.

I prefer the Hippo Phenibut powder because it is 99.5% pure.  Available in either powder or capsule form, the relaxing experience unique to Phenibut is great for high anxiety situations.  As stress decreases, while performance remains about the same or even a little bit better, it is nice to have this product on the shelf when I need it.

Ideally, only take Phenibut a couple times a week max, as consistent use will increase tolerance significantly.  When used only twice a week, 50 g, or about 100 servings, should last more than 3 months.

The reason I keep buying Phenibut from Happy Hippo Herbals is because anytime I buy from another supplier I generally end up disappointed.  $20 for 50 g is about as good as it gets for a high-quality Phenibut powder.

Happy Hippo Herbal Vs. Other Herbal Vendors

Happy Hippo Herbal vs Other Herbal Vendors

Happy Hippo Herbals stands out from other vendors around the Internet and head shops due to the consistent high-quality, fast shipping, payment options, like bitcoin, and reasonable prices.  People who want quality herbal powders often purchase from them because consistency is nearly guaranteed.

The kratom that Happy Hippo Herbals sells is not older than 2 months and is the freshest product available to people in North America.  This is a drastic difference from other kratom vendors, as some are selling products that were harvested over 2 years ago!  As Kratom sits on the shelf for a while, the alkaloids break down, and lower the overall potency.  This is why buying a fresh product results in a higher quality product.

Another reason why I purchase kratom from Happy Hippo Herbals is because they donate money to the American Kratom Association.  Someone has to provide a voice for this marvelous plant that has offered pain relief to many.  Consistent ongoing support for this organization is necessary in order to stand up to pharmaceutical companies and maintain kratom’s legal status in at least some parts of the United States.

Happy Hippo Vs. Top Extracts

top extracts kratom review
My personal favorite brand, Top Extracts. Click Here to read my review.

One recent vendor I’ve had a chance to test out is called Top Extracts.  Out of the half dozen vendors I’ve tested over the last 2 years, in my personal opinion Happy Hippo and Top Extracts go neck and neck.

All of their kratom strains are relatively similar in their effects, however, Happy Hippo does have a slight edge price wise.

When I say this, I mean typically you’ll see prices of 5-10% more with Top Extracts then with Happy Hippo.

With that said, you can’t beat Top Extracts quality!  Click Here to read my full review of Top Extracts.

Happy Hippo Reviews Around The Internet

Happy Hippo Reviews Around The Internet

One of the best places to find out what people are thinking is Reddit, as no one seems to be shy of offering their opinion here.  Some have stated that the prices of kratom are a bit higher at Happy Hippo Herbals, but they keep buying from them due to the quality and excellent customer service.

In addition, buying kratom with bitcoin AND getting 20% off the order or paying with Instant eCheck and getting 10% off lowers price considerably, while making the overall paying process simple for both parties.  As a side note, customers also have the option to use Visa or MasterCard to fulfill their order.

Many people have stated that Happy Hippo Herbals’ kratom is twice as strong as the competition.  In fact, some only consume 2 grams of kratom and compare it to 5 grams of kratom from another supplier.  In other words, beginners who buy the Newbie Hippo Starter Pack may want to start out at about 2 grams or roughly 1/2 teaspoon before experimenting with more.

Other comments from users focus on the freshness of kratom supplied by Happy Hippo Herbals, which may account for its high potency.  Either way, this company takes pride in its product and realizes that fresher is always better.

Happy Hippo Herbals often supplies more than the stated weight and includes free samples of other types of kratom that are currently available.  In the end, consumer satisfaction is what is most important to me and the company has always responded to emails I sent them without delay.  To me, this is one of the most important factors when doing business, as I prefer to work with companies that take pride in their professionalism.

Warnings and Contraindications

Since technically kratom is “not meant for human consumption” according to their labels, you should definitely approach it’s use with caution.

coastline kratom not for human consumption

When just starting out, it’s a good idea to limit your use to just 1 – 2 times per week, and keep your doses low.

A low dose would be considered as about 1 – 3 grams.

Typically low doses like this will still provide good benefits, without the potential adverse side effects.

Speaking of side effects, some potential ones with kratom include:

 • Nausea
 • Dry mouth
 • Sweating
 • Loss of appetite
 • Increased urination
 • Constipation
 • Sedation

(Source: Drugs.com)

Kratom has also been shown to cause low testosterone function in men, which has a whole host of other issues.

You should also avoid combining kratom and other drugs, like alcohol, as there could be negative consequences.

Fast Shipping

According to one YouTube video, shipping takes about 2 days, fast enough.  According to the company directly, the product is shipped out in 0 to 36 hours on weekdays.

The longest I’ve ever waited for an order was around 5 days, but that’s because it was a holiday weekend that particular time.

Conclusion

happy hippo herbals

Anyone who has been stuck in the rut of using pharmaceutical painkillers and would like to kick the habit with an herbal alternative should consider using kratom.  While no one knows how long kratom will remain legal throughout the United States, it is a good idea to get it now, while it is still widely available.  The same is true for Phenibut.  While it is still legal in the United States, it is undergoing regulation in the UK.  Since Phenibut is a great anti-anxiety supplement, many people can benefit from it throughout the world.

Keep in mind that both Kratom and Phenibut do have potential for withdrawal, so it’s best to limit their use to just a few times a week.

Professional athletes using supplements is nothing new.  Any athlete looking to perform at his or her peak usually uses supplements like Fish oil, Conjugated Lipoic Acid, and Multi Vitamins.

Some of them use pre workouts to fuel their workouts.

Most of them use post workout recovery options like Protein, Creatine, and BCAA’s.

One thing is for sure, the vast majority of them probably wont risk their multi million dollar careers by taking something that is against the rules.

It happens, but not very often.

Which leads me to the topic in question…

The Fake Marketing Behind TestX Core

I’m browsing through my Yahoo news feed this morning and came across an AD with the heading “Tom Brady Under Investigation Again”.

tom brady under investigation testx core

I say AD because Yahoo does a REALLY good job of disguising their ads as articles.

But you can see the little “sponsored” disclaimer right at the top.

tom brady fake supplements

When I clicked on the ad it took me to a page that looked like the ESPN website, but something about it was off.

I’ll get back to that in a little bit…

As I scroll through the article, apparently the NFL is investigating whether or not Tom Brady used a supposed banned supplement that goes by the name of TestX Core.

According to them, TestX Core is a pill taken by many pro athletes and bodybuilders, but the NFL is considering banning it for 2 reasons:

 1.  It makes athletes 150% stronger on average and gives you a 3X increase in stamina, and
 2.  You don’t have to diet or exercise while your using it.

tom brady doesn't use TestX core

That’s right, you can sit around on your fat ass all day, eat potato chips, and you’ll magically gain muscle and get shredded.

If alarm bells aren’t going off in your head right now they probably should be.

Not only are these claims completely absurd and impossible, but they serve to insult my intelligence and the intelligence of anyone who comes across it.

The article goes on to explain that they received a free bottle of Test Core X for experimentation, and the results were shocking.

The editor of this article, a guy by the name of “Ryan”, went from this:

testx core before and after

to this:

testx core results

in just one month…

And all he had to do was take 2 pills of TestX Core per day to achieve the body of his dreams.

Why This Article (and others like it) is Complete B.S.

The first thing that you may (or may NOT) have noticed is that, despite looking like it, this is NOT the real ESPN website.

How do I know this?

Well, look at the URL in the address bar…

//www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/files/2017/03/fake espn

Does it say ESPN.com?  Of course it doesn’t.

In fact, it says com-entertain.today.

You’ll also notice a little disclaimer at the top that says “Advertisement”, which of course blends in to the header easily.

//www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/files/2017/03/advert

Additionally, if you run a search on Google for something like “Tom Brady under investigation for using supplement”, you get these results returned to you:

tom brady using supplements under investigation

Notice how you don’t see any legit websites like Fox sports net, Yahoo sports, or the NY Times talking about this investigation?

Don’t you think that if the worlds most famous football player was under investigation for ANYTHING it would be plastered all over the web?

Well, it turns out another site recently called out the B.S. that the stories you’re seeing aren’t real.

In fact, the truth is there is no Ryan Hasman over at ESPN, and remember that before and after pic you saw earlier in the article?

This one…

ryan hasman espn testx core

Well, I did a reverse image search and it turns out that was completely stolen from a website called GotHairLLC.com.

//www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/files/2017/03/stolen before and after

Got Hair LLC is a medical office located in Bronx, NY, and that supposed TestX Core before and after pic you’re seeing was actually one of the clients who used their HCG weight loss program.

Additionally, if you look at the Facebook comments down at the bottom you’ll also see that they’re fake as well.

//www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/files/2017/03/fake facebook

I know this because if you try to leave a comment yourself, you’ll quickly realize that you can’t.

What’s Even Worse, Is…

When you go to order TestX Core, you’ll note that you have to put in your credit card information to help pay for the shipping for your supposed “free trial”.

It’s a modest fee of $4.95, which sounds great right?

testx core free trial

However, what you probably missed was the part about them charging you $89.41 15 days after you order the supplement.

It’s all right here in the terms and conditions, which is conveniently (for them) in fine print at the bottom of the page.

testx core terms and conditions

If you can’t read it, I’ll type it out for you here:

“By placing an order, you will pay S & H to receive a 30 day supply. You will also be automatically enrolled in our membership program. The program will charge you $89.41 on the 15th day of your order date for a monthly supply and every 30 days thereafter until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by calling +1-855-322-8780.

If you cancel before the 14th day of your order date, you pay the S&H of your 30 day supply. If you cancel after the 15th day of your order date, you shall pay for the 30 day supply plus any future supplies without refund.”

So not only will you be charged the full price for the product in 2 weeks, BUT, you’ll also be billed every 30 days thereafter and sent a new bottle.

What is Test Core X?

All B.S. aside, does the supplement even work?

Visiting their website, the claims about it’s benefits are a little vague.

For example, they say that TestX Core is “designed to stimulate your bodies ability to produce optimal levels of testosterone”, but they don’t really explain exactly how it does this.

They do go in to explaining the importance of:

It’s all detailed in the video below:

But they really fail to mention exactly how Test X Core, SPECIFICALLY, will help with any of this, other than stating that it will break through any plateaus with their exclusively formulated blend.

TestX Core Ingredients

Well I did a little digging and took a look at the ingredients label.

According to them, Test X Core contains ingredients such as Saw Palmetto, Magnesium, Panax Ginseng, Tongkat Ali, Zinc, Vitamin B6, Fenugreek extract, Lycopene, Tribulus Terrestris extract, L-Arginine, Taurine, and Boron.

Here’s a snapshot of the label:

test x core ingredients label

There’s nothing really “revolutionary” about this supplement, as these very same ingredients can be found in a multitude of other testosterone boosters, pre workout pills, and even male enhancers.

In fact, the combination of L-Arginine and Tribulus is very common in bodybuilding circles, as it’s been shown improve vascularity and results.  (Source)

L-Arginine is a non-essential amino acid that is actually found in a wide variety of foods we eat, specifically red meat, poultry, fish, and dairy products. (Source)

Specifically, it’s consumption causes a process called Vasodilation, which is a widening of the blood vessels and arteries.

This widening allows for improved blood flow, which in theory, helps to deliver nutrients more effectively throughout the body.

However, because of this widening it does have a tendency to lower blood pressure, so it’s important to make sure you check with your doctor first before taking it. (Source)

There’s also Magnesium, which is an essential chemical element that’s found in many of the foods you already eat.

One of the key ingredients in TestX Core, Fenugreek, is a widely used ingredient found in literally HUNDREDS of testosterone boosters, including many we’ve personally tested.

Used very heavily in India as a cooking additive, some of the reported benefits of Fenugreek include:

 • Improved digestion and lowers cholesterol (Source)
 • Reduces inflammation in the body, and in turn may be an effective natural arthritis treatment (Source)
 • Improves exercise performance when combined with creatine (Source)

Notice I didn’t mention anything about increased testosterone?

Well, that’s because the data on this claim is somewhat mixed.

In one study on a patented version of Fenugreek called Testofen (not in TestX Core), the results of the study concluded that there was significant support for free testosterone compared to a placebo group.  (Source)

However, subsequent studies have been unable to replicate these results.

On top of that, the claims made by Testofen have spawned a rash of lawsuits regarding their claims.  (Source)

TestX Core Reviews

Apart from the usual fake review websites, we did find some genuine feedback on TestX Core.  According to the reviews on Amazon, it’s not a very pretty picture.

testx core reviews on amazon

As you can see above, the vast majority of testimonials rate the product 2 stars or below, and reading through them seems to support that rating.

Phrases like:

 • Total crap
 • No benefit whatsoever
 • Not worth it

seem to be pretty prevalent.

There were 2 five star reviews, but one gentleman elaborated on his results, stating “no further comment”.

//www.supplementcritique.com/wp

Well, that’s not very helpful now, is it?

One video on Youtube reportedly shows successful TestX Core before and after photos, although there is absolutely no concrete evidence that these pics are indeed a result of using this particular supplement.

So what better way to find out if it works then to try it out yourself, right?

Well, that’s just what I did.

My Personal TestX Core Review

test x core review

At the behest of some of my visitors, who’ve been bugging me for weeks to try Test X Core out, I finally decided to give it a shot.

I ordered a 1 month supply off of Amazon for about $71, and received it within a few days.

The directions on the label state that you should take 2 capsules daily with a full glass of water with your pre-workout meal.

Since I don’t really eat a pre-workout meal, I just decided to take it on an empty stomach about 45 minutes prior to my workout.

In the first week, I have to admit I really didn’t feel anything apart from a mild headache which hit me right around day 3.

Was this a result of using Test X Core?

Probably not.

About mid-way through the second week I actually started to notice a little bit of a boost in libido.

It was subtle at first, but over the course of a few days I started waking up with a RAGING hard-on.

The kind of hard-on I’ve described in some of my other reviews like Nugenix and Noxitril, where it’s so difficult to take a piss because you have a boner pointing straight up.

Usually I end up pissing in the shower on days like that lol.

Apart from that, I didn’t notice any of the other benefits they list, like:

 • Heightened workouts:  No effect here.
 • Enhanced muscle mass:  Which would probably have been a result had my workouts improved.
 • Decreased body fat:  Same as above.

Who makes TestX Core?

According to the label and my research, Test X Core is distributed by a company called Phenom Health, a company I believe is headquartered in the UK.

They are behind several other products, including Bioslim Burn, NO Max Shred, Omega-3 IQ Elite, and Synagen IQ, a supplement we actually wrote about in the past.

If you run a search for Phenom Health complaints on Ripoffreport.com via google, you’re literally swarmed with numerous complaints about being overcharged for various products.

TestX Core FAQ

Was TestX Core featured on the TV show Shark Tank?

Unlikely.  I dug around on the official Shark Tank website, and found no mention of Test X Core whatsoever.

testx core shark tank

Surely if it were on the show you would have seen SOMETHING about it, but alas there’s nothing.

This is not the first time I’ve seen this claim.

For a brief period of time there was an ad floating around on the internet that claimed the investors on Shark Tank invested in some miracle testosterone booster.

Of course, that claim turned out to be FALSE.

Are There Any TestX Core Side Effects?

They don’t make any mention on their official site about TestX Core being side effect free, but literally ANY supplement has the potential to produce unwanted effects.

For example, using the primary ingredient Horny Goat Weed for an extended length of time has been shown to cause dizziness, vomiting, dry mouth, thirst, and nosebleed. (Source)

Another primary ingredient, Korean Ginseng, has been known to cause a host of adverse effects, including insomnia, headache, agitation, upset stomach, and dizziness. (Source)

As with any supplement, it’s always crucial that you speak with your doctor before consuming ANY supplement to reduce the risk of drug interactions.

This is especially important if you suffer from a medical condition like diabetes, high blood pressure, or insomnia, as your symptoms may be exacerbated.

Can I buy TestX Core in stores?

I called up my local GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, and Walmart, and none of them carry (much less ever heard of) Test X Core.  You can only buy it on their official site (www.TestXCore.com) or on Amazon, although as of this review it was currently unavailable there.

It’s unknown if they sell it in Canada or Australia, but my suspicion is that it’s not because it contains Tribulus Terrestris, which I believe is banned on those countries.

Should I take it with anything else?

According to a few sources I looked at, some of these fake articles say that you should take TestX Core with other supplements like NO max shred or NO2 Shred.

This is a scam.  They are only telling you to take it with these other supplements so they can make more money.

In general, if a supplement needs to be taken with other supplements, i.e. if it will only work if you spend more money, that means it would have never worked in the first place.

TestX Core Recommendation

I’ve seen these fake ads being sprinkled all over social media for years.

Products like Hypertone Force, Ripped Muscle X, and Anabolic RX 24 use cleverly crafted advertisements that “look” like the real Mens Health, ESPN, and Forbes websites.

It always starts off with some “revolutionary new supplement” breakthrough that athletes like Conor McGregor, celebrities like The Rock, and personal trainers are using.

And it almost ALWAYS turns out to be complete B.S., and most cases ALWAYS involves some sort of “free trial” that guys think is a sample, when in reality nothing could be further from the truth.

Don’t buy into the hype!

Does Test X Core REALLY work?

In my personal experience, it did, but not exactly the way they described.

If you’re looking for a potent libido booster, and don’t mind waiting for a week to allow it to kick in, then Test X Core may be right for you.

However, if you’re looking for something to help improve lean muscle mass, decrease body fat, and experience better workouts, there are better products on the market for that.

Alpha Prime Elite Review – 7 BIG Reasons It’s A Scam

We always keep a lookout for new free trial scam supplements popping up on our social media newsfeeds like Facebook and Twitter. It seems like there’s a new one every week or so, so it’s hard to keep up. We get to them eventually, so if you come across one you haven’t seen here, chances are you’ll it will be here soon. In any event, we’re looking at one called Alpha Prime Elite today.

Let’s see what this particular  supplement’s scam does to stand out and get into how and why you should know with a quick glance that things are not exactly what they seem.

What Is Alpha Prime Elite?

With a subheading like the “Testosterone Advantage,” it’s clear that Alpha Prime Elite is designed to be a natural testosterone boosting supplement. But here’s where we need to make an important distinction. Some testosterone boosters are directed at younger guys looking to get lean and fit, or wanting to pack on the muscle. In other words, guys with specific fitness goals. While others focus on the sexual benefits a boost in testosterone can provide.

Looking To REALLY Get Ripped?

Alpha Prime Elite belongs to that second category. It’s very squarely directed at middle aged and older men looking to put a little spice back into their sex lives.

Alpha Prime Elite Customer Image

Alpha Prime Elite Benefits

Taking a look at the listed benefits just solidifies this point:

 • Improved libido and sex drive.
 • Bigger, harder, longer erections.
 • Increased endurance and an end to premature ejaculation.
 • Bigger size.
 • Greater sexual confidence, which affects every aspect of your life.

The Alpha Prime Elite website goes on to explain that through scientific use of breakthrough herbal ingredients, they address the “3 S’s” of sexual performance.

That would be SIZE, STAMINA, and SATISFACTION.

And to add a little credibility to the claims, you’ll see this:

Alpha Prime Male GMP Image

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with a Good Manufacturing Procedures certification, but it’s important to know that it only refers to the quality and cleanliness of the facility, not the product.

This is a tactic often used by supplement makers like this one. They talk about science and studies, and certified manufacturing facilities. As we look further and further into Alpha Prime Elite, how it works, what it costs, and what people are saying, we’ll start to see more and more instances of little red flags like this.

Alpha Prime Elite Ingredients

Stated benefits are one thing, but what’s far more important is the formula. Knowing what’s in a supplement and in what quantities is what allows us to get a fairly accurate idea of whether or not it can work.

The Alpha Prime Elite website doesn’t show us a complete picture of the formula, but it does highlight several of the primary ingredients, which include:

 • L-Arginine which is a precursor to nitric oxide. When it converts, the nitric oxide acts as a vasodilator to open up blood vessels, allowing more blood to enter the corpus cavernosa, creating stronger, harder erections. The increase in blood flow also benefits workouts by delivering increased oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and creating more pump.
 • Ginkgo Biloba which is known to be an aphrodisiac that boosts libido. There is also some research indicating that it may also increase testosterone.
 • Horny Goat Weed (aka Epimedium Sagittatum) which is an aphrodisiac which also increases blood flow for better erections.
 • Asian Red Ginger which promotes relaxation and reduces stress.
 • Muira Puama which is a natural herbal aphrodisiac.
 • Saw Palmetto which helps with overall prostate health while also increasing stamina.
 • Bioperin which is a supporting ingredient that improves your body’s absorption of the other ingredients.

It’s not a terrible list of ingredients, but there are a few negatives I’d like to point out.

First of all…

It’s not the strongest formula I’ve seen, not even close. When it comes to testosterone boosting formulas, one of the most important ingredients in the arena is D-Aspartic Acid, which has shown real results when it comes to boosting testosterone.  The effects are short lived, but it DOES work, especially when cycled.

Also…

they don’t divulge what amounts are used in the formulas. This is unfortunate, though not at all uncommon. It happens all the time in fact, and it’s frustrating when you’re trying to figure out if something works.

Some ingredients have been clinically tested. Others have been widely used even without clinical studies. In either case, there are doses or dosing ranges that are known to be most effective. Without that information, it’s tough to know if the formula is using the correct amounts.

The Third Thing…

I want to mention might be a little picky, but it’s become a pet peeve for me. I see it a lot, it’s very unprofessional, and it can tell you something about the seriousness and commitment shown by the companies that make these supplements.

In the section of the website where they discuss ingredients, the word “Ginkgo” is spelled wrong. Again, maybe this is picky, but you’d think they would proofread their copy considering they’re presumably trying to build and maintain the trust of their potential customers.

If they can’t even take the time to proofread the information on their own product that they are trying to promote, it goes to show how little care they actually put into their scam and that they are doing some sloppy work.

Misspelled Ginkgo Image

And get ready because it just gets worse from here.

The Free Trial Scam

If you’re interested in buying Alpha Prime Elite at this point, the next bit of information should be very important to you. Like dozens and dozens of other nutritional supplements, Alpha Prime Elite is only available for purchase by signing up for their “free trial offer”. The problem is, the name is extremely misleading, as the offer is definitely not free. You might say payment is deferred, but it’s not free.

Here’s what you’ll see as you start to go through the ordering process. Everything they say indicates that you’ll be getting a 30 day supply of 60 capsules for FREE:

Alpha Prime Male FREE Bottle

But it’s not a free bottle.

In fact, if you don’t call and cancel a subscription you probably had no conscious knowledge of, they’ll charge you a hefty $85.95! And on top of that, they’ll send you a new bottle each month for that same full price because apparently, by signing up for the free trial, you are also signing up for their monthly auto-shipping program.

Autoship programs can be convenient for something you know you’re going to use each month, but Alpha Prime Elite has people signing up without knowing it, for the express purpose of getting them caught up in repeated billings that they know will be canceled once the customers become aware of what’s going on.

Here’s what it says in the fine print below the order:

Alpha Prime Male Terms Image

I can’t begin to tell you how many complaints I’ve gotten from my readers about scams like this one. Again, it wouldn’t be so bad if they made it clear what you were getting yourself into, but they don’t. In fact, they do the exact opposite.

They go out of their way to make you think you’re getting free bottle and that’ll be the end of it. But watch out because the truth is just the opposite.

Alpha Prime Elite Reviews

The Alpha Prime Elite proudly displays several customer testimonials from guys who’ve used it with great success. Check out this one from a 49 year old guy named Vincent Harper:

Alpha Prime Elite Testimonial Image

It tries to imply this guy Vince used to need a prescription to use Alpha Prime Elite, but that’s misleading at the very least. This stuff is not a drug, and it never required a prescription.

But while the website shows its list of glowing testimonials, there’s an entirely different story being told elsewhere on the internet. We did a quick check to see if Alpha Prime Elite had a showing yet on Ripoff Report, and indeed it does.

Ripoff Report is a website where pissed off customers who feel they’ve been taken advantage of can go to file public complaints about a company. Here’s the most recent complaint about Alpha Prime Elite:
Alpha Prime Elite Ripoff Report Image

This is just one example, but there are plenty more where that came from, and they’re all complaints about the free trial scam:

Alpha Prime Elite Ripoff List Image

At this point, it’s tough to imagine any real reason why anyone would even go near this product. I guess maybe if it were some miracle pill, it might be worth all the potential hassle, but judging by what we know of the formula, I doubt that’s the case.

Why Do People Fall for the Scam?

Technically, there is a statement saying that if you sign up, you’ll be enrolled in the monthly program, this is true. So “why does nobody see it?” is a valid question.

I don’t have the definitive answer, but I do have some educated guesses.

First of all, they don’t want you to see it. They have to put it on the website for legal reasons. If they really wanted you to see it, they’d place it where you couldn’t miss it, they’d present it in bold lettering, and they’d require you to check a box stating that you understood what was going to happen.

But in reality, they don’t want you to see it, so they don’t do any of those things.

Take a look at this next screen shot. This was taken from my laptop, and even though the window was opened to full screen, the terms of the offer are not visible. If you’re not careful, or more likely if you’re trusting or a bit naive, you can continue on, complete your purchase, and never know what you’re getting into.

Full Screen Order Page

But now check out what it looks like when we scroll down just a little bit:

Scrolled Down

So you will only see the real deal if you scroll down, which you could complete your without ever doing. So it’s completely conceivable that these guys who are complaining on Ripoff Report really never saw the terms of the deal.

Alpha Prime Elite Pros and Cons

Advantages of Alpha Prime Elite

 • The formula is all natural.
 • There are no known side effects.

Disadvantages of Alpha Prime Elite

 • The formula is fairly weak.
 • Ingredient amounts are not listed, making it difficult to know whether or not they use effective doses.
 • They spell Ginkgo Biloba wrong.
 • You can only purchase it through the free trial offer that’s nothing more than a scam.
 • It’s ridiculously expensive.
 • You will likely end up paying for months of this stuff when you thought you’d pay nothing at all.
 • There are no real customer reviews for the actual Alpha Prime Elite product, just negative feedback and complaints about the free trial scam.

The Bottom Line

Alpha Prime Elite may be a fairly decent testosterone booster, and you may notice some improvement in energy and sex drive. But the benefits are far outweighed by the drawbacks. At the end of the day, it costs far more than it has any right to, but it’s worse than just your average overpriced product. By deliberately hiding the terms of the deal, they are going out of their way to do everything they can to deceive their customers, forcing them into monthly payments of almost $100 a pop.

Don’t get me wrong. Alpha Prime Elite is not the only product or company to do this. It’s all too common. But that doesn’t make it any less painful when it happens to you. Hopefully you’re reading this before you ordered. If not, call the number listed above as soon as possible in the hope of preventing any further charges. You’ll be happy to be done with it.

Readers ask me all the time to check out new products they’ve just heard of. Usually, I do a quick preliminary search to determine if it’s worth taking a look at. If it is, I put it on my list and get to it within the next couple weeks. Sometimes, the product is pretty obscure and it takes a lot of digging to find anything out. Other times, it will keep showing up on my radar over and over, reminding me that I really need to get to this one. With D Bal Max , it was the latter case.

About 3 weeks ago, a reader asked me to check this one out.

Looking To REALLY Get Ripped?

Click Here to download my FREE "How To Get Ripped Quickly" eBook!!

Since then, I’ve had a handful of other readers ask the same thing. There are a few different things this could mean. It could mean D Bal Max is great stuff and word of mouth is spreading its popularity like wildfire. It could mean it sucks, and people are talking about what a rip off it is. Or it could just mean that the folks at D Bal Max have put together a great marketing plan. Whichever is the case, I finally had a chance to dive in and research this product, so by the end of this review, you’ll know.

D-Bal MAX Review 1What Is D Bal Max?

According to the official product website, D Bal Max is “Pure Bodybuilding Dynamite!” The idea that you can get steroid-like results without negative steroid issues and side effects is a popular one. It’s basically the holy grail of workout supplements. With a name like D Bal Max, clearly this product aims to achieve that goal.

If you’re not familiar with steroids, the name might not mean anything to you. But if you are, you’ll recognize immediately that D Bal Max is reminiscent of the popular steroid, Dianabol, known for getting you huge muscle gains in a very short period of time. Names like these are often confusing – leading to questions of whether or not the supplement is legal an if it will cause steroid side effects like testicle shrinkage. But no. D Bal Max is perfectly legal, it’s natural, and it leaves your boys intact.

What D Bal Max does claim to do, however, is give you Dianabol-like results. By taking this and sticking to a strict diet and workout program, you’ll get explosive workouts leading to mind-blowing strength and huge gains in muscle, and all this can happen in just a matter of weeks. And they want you to remember that all this can come without the expense, side effects, or legal worries that are a big part of actual steroid use. And that’s because D Bal Max is NOT A STEROID.

How D Bal Max Works

D-Bal MAX Image 6

The idea behind D Bal Max‘s success lies within 3 basic principles of creating the perfect anabolic environment for creating lean hard muscle. It increases protein synthesis, which of course is fundamental to building and repairing muscle fibers. It reduces serotonin levels and increases intra-muscular energy so you work out longer and harder and power through plateaus. And it naturally increases testosterone and growth hormone levels, so your entire body becomes the ideal environment for building muscle.

B-Bal MAX Ingredients ImageD Bal Max Ingredients

Okay, so if D Bal Max is not a steroid, what exactly is it and how does help you achieve your goals? The answers to these questions lie in the formula.

The website doesn’t reveal a label image and doesn’t provide a comprehensive list, but here are the three primary ingredients the makers have chosen to highlight:

 • Pro BCAA Complex. BCAA’s (Branched Chain Amino Acids) are the important building blocks for repairing and building muscle after your hardest workouts. They generally include leucine, iso-leucine, and valine in specific ratios designed for your best effect. In addition to improved muscle repair, BCAAs can lower serotonin levels in your brain, which can cause fatigue. This means you’ll have more energy and stamina for your workouts, leading to longer, more effective sessions. The science backing up this assertion is a little tricky. It’s true that valine can inhibit the conversion of tryptophan into serotonin, which would decrease workout fatigue. But this effect is more completely described by its relationship with dopamine, specifically, the higher the ration of serotonin to dopamine, the more fatigued you will be. But while valine lowers serotonin, leucine lowers dopamine, so the ratio effect is entirely lost. So while BCAAs in theory should help minimize workout fatigue, in reality, it doesn’t necessarily work that way.
 • 20-Hydroxyecdysterone. This is often referred to as a “plant steroid” because it’s plant based, but as the ability to mimic the effect of a steroid. Its three major workout benefits are that it increases muscle energy (aka ATP), it improves protein synthesis for effective muscle building, and it increases your muscles retention of nitrogen with helps provide your muscles with longer lasting energy. This class of plant steroids may also have the side benefit of lowering cholesterol and blood sugar levels..
 • Whey Protein. Most people are familiar with how a protein shake taken before or after a workout, or any time throughout the day, can help you stay lean and build muscle. Protein is the primary building block for muscle, and there’s no disputing you need it in order to bulk up and/or stay lean. D Bal Max doesn’t indicate on their website just how much whey protein is included in the formula, but given that this comes in capsule form, it can’t really be very much. This is why you generally find protein coming in the form of a powder you mix with water or another beverage to make a shake. In order to be effective, you want your protein supplement to contain about 15 grams. Like I said, D Bal Max doesn’t offer this information, but I did find what looks like an image of the D Bal Max label online. If this is real, it contains just 100 mg of the stuff in a 3 capsule serving, hardly enough to notice at all.

How To Use D Bal Max

The recommended dose is 3 capsules per day. The packaging is a unique tube-shaped container, each containing 45 capsules, or enough for 15 days. There is no indication of when you should take it, which indicates that it probably doesn’t matter, provided you take it at approximately the same time each day. They do, however, recommend that you take it with food.

Does D Bal Max Work Like Dianabol?

This is the million dollar question. It’s what they want you to believe, but is it true? Does it really? After looking at what we know about the ingredients, I’d have to say “probably not”. BCAAs are great, but they’re nothing new, unique, or revolutionary. Lots of supplements include them in their formulas. Don’t get me wrong, they’re good to have, they just don’t set D Bal Max apart from other supplements. Whey protein is great, but at 100 mg per serving, it may as well not even be there. That leaves the 20-hydroxyecdysterone. This is probably the most impressive part of the formula. The trouble is, however, that we don’t know how much is used. According to the limited research we have, 200 mg per day is a good dose. If D Bal Max contains this much, it will likely be effective. If there’s less than that, you probably won’t get much benefit.

The steroid Dianabol is one of the most commonly stacked bulking steroid in the business. Used with testosterone, it’s particularly good at increasing on the muscle and strength build. Judging from what we know of the formula, D Bal Max won’t be nearly as effective.

D Bal Max Side Effects

This is the real positive. You won’t get any of the side effects associated with anabolic steroids. In fact, it’s likely you won’t get any side effects at all.

D-Bal MAX Image 7

D Bal Max Customer Feedback

One of the things that drew us and our readers to D Bal Max is the buzz that seems to surround it. But upon closer inspection, that buzz does NOT seem to be coming from happy customers. There are plenty of affiliate reviews, and the product is very well marketed online through Facebook and other social media, but there are no independent reviews coming from customers who’ve actually used the stuff.

Who Makes D Bal Max?

The company behind D Bal Max is called Bauer Group DMCC, aka Bauer Nutrition. They’re a British company that makes other nutritional and workout supplements, most notably TestoGen. We weren’t able to find out much about the company, but it is good to know they are a muli-product company. It means they have to be more accountable to their customers’ concerns than a fly-by-night company that only puts out a single product.

D Bal Max is not available in stores, nor is it sold at big online retailers like Amazon.com or Bodybuilding.com. You can make your purchase through their official website. The most basic package comes with 2 tubes, which will get you through the month, and it costs $68.95. There are other money saving options, one of which is the 6 month supply for $279.85. This package includes a bonus supply of Muscle Repair Tea, with antioxidants and anti-inflammatories to help you recover post workout.

The company offers a 60-day money back guarantee. It is required that you return all bottles, both full and empty, but if you do, it looks like you can score yourself a complete refund.

D Bal Max Pros and Cons

Advantages of D Bal Max

 • The ingredients are all natural.
 • While no supplement can guarantee to be completely side effect-free, you won’t experience any of the side effects typically associated with steroids. These would include acne, “bacne”, aggression, hair loss, and testicle shrinkage. No worries of these side effects with D Bal Max.
 • There’s a 60-day money back guarantee.
 • The company that makes D Bal Max also makes several other supplements, so they are more accountable for maintaining good customer relations.
 • There is no free trial scam associated with this product.

Disadvantages of D Bal Max

 • The entire ingredient list is not provided. This is especially concerning because it means we don’t have reliable information on the amount of each ingredient included. In the case of Whey Protein – one of the featured ingredients – we are left to believe there is a measly 100 mg per serving. This is clearly not enough to have a positive effect.
 • They claim D Bal Max approaches the effectiveness of steroids, but it would appear this is not the case.
 • There are no customer reviews available online.

D-Bal MAX Review 2

The Bottom Line

We started off this review talking about how we keep hearing about this potentially great new supplement called D Bal Max. It was exciting to think there might be something out there helping guys make great gains, along the lines of steroids, but without the negative effects associated with actual anabolics. After researching the product, we have to admit to some disappointment. When the biggest positive is that it doesn’t cause side effects, that’s a big sign there’s not much to write home about.

There’s no official published ingredient list, and what we did find, shows it to be lacking. The 20-hydroxyecdysterone is good, but with 100 mg of whey protein being touted as some sort of big deal, we have to call foul. After that, consider the fact that we found not a single review from an actual customer, and our mind is pretty close to made up.

You can get much higher amounts of whey and other better ingredients in products that you can find both in stores and online and really there is no reason to spend so much on something that may not even work.

The one redeeming factor is that it comes with a lengthy 60-day money back guarantee. With that in your pocket, you can give D Bal Max a try knowing that with a little effort on your part, it’s virtually risk free.

But in the end, a money back guarantee doesn’t make a supplement effective, and judging from all we’ve found out about the product, D Bal Max won’t be nearly as effective as they want you to believe.

Save up your hard earned cash for another supplement that will actually work as it promises and not waste your time and money.

LeanFire XT Review – 1 BIG Reason It’s Worth Trying

Losing weight and reducing body fat is hard, and there’s a billion dollar weight loss supplement industry to prove it. The truth is a lot of what’s out there is junk, just preying on the millions of desperate people who’ll try anything, and feel like they already have.

But some fat burners work, and that’s why we do these reviews – to help you distinguish between the ones that work, and the ones that you should definitely steer clear of.

What is LeanFire XT?

LeanFire XT is part of the Force Factor line of products. Force Factor is a popular brand of nutritional supplements most notably sold at GNC.

We’ve reviewed and tested several of their other products, including the original Force Factor, Test X180 Original, Ignite, and Alpha, as well as Force Factor Volcano.

I’m generally a fan. They’re not at the very top of my list, but they’re not too far down either. And if you like picking your supplements up at an actual store, the brand can be a smart choice.

LeanFire XT Benefits

Because losing weight and getting in shape can be so difficult for a lot of people, you have to look for the right set of benefits to ensure success.

It’s not enough that a supplement contains caffeine.

It definitely helps – by suppressing appetite, burning fat, and increasing energy – but you need more.

A successful product will go beyond that with a list of ingredients providing a range of benefits.

That’s why LeanFire XT promises to add a “mind component” to the body component, improving focus, clarity, and mood, so you’re set up for success mentally and not just physically.

With LeanFire XT, the energy focus is on smooth energy, not the jittery kind that inevitably leads to a crash. This is what Force Factor is calling the concept of “thermovigilance,” and we’ll talk more about in a bit.

In a nutshell, however, the primary benefits of LeanFire XT are:

 • Melting of stubborn fat.
 • Improved endurance.
 • Increased focus and clarity.

It’s this mind/muscle connection that LeanFire XT considers its strong point.

How LeanFire XT Works

Force Factor knows that the best fat burners contain stimulants, but they believe most of them rely too heavily on them to the exclusion of other important factors.

The truth is, when you go too heavy on the stimulants, you end up jittery and unfocused.

LeanFire XT addresses this by balancing the stimulants with other ingredients, particularly those designed to improve focus and concentration.

There’s another problem with focusing too much on stimulants.

Using high doses regularly can create a tolerance in your body. Once this happens, you need to continually increase the amount of stimulants you use in order to achieve your desired effect.

In the end, this is just unsustainable.

So LeanFire XT professes to take a different approach called Thermovigilance.

What it basically means is that it uses energy producing, fat burning stimulants in correct doses, combines them with nootropic ingredients to bolster focus and clarity, and smooths it all out with a powerful amino acid that counterbalances the negative effects that often accompany stimulant ingredients.

Let’s break it down even more next.

LeanFire XT Review 2LeanFire XT Ingredients

As a fat burner, the LeanFire XT formula is no stranger to stimulants. The proprietary formula contains three blends for a total of 721mg, with each blend containing stimulants.

Here’s the breakdown:

The Fat Incineration Blend contains:

 • Green Tea Leaf Extract for its ECGCs which are the catechins in green tea that rev up the metabolism so your body uses more calories. Green Tea is popular in weight loss supplements, although it’s usefulness as a weight loss aid certainly has it’s skeptics. Not only does it contain fat burning ECGCs,but it’s loaded with antioxidants and contains a small amount of caffeine as well.
 • L-Carnitine, an amino acid that converts long chain fatty acids to energy. Basically, it moves the fat through your system so it can be burned for use, helping the body boost energy. (1)
 • Cayenne Pepper Fruit Extract which boosts body heat and metabolism, and has been proven in studies in mice.
 • Bioperine, a black pepper extract that increases the bio-availability of the rest of the formula.  Bioperine can be found in numerous other over the counter products, including Vigrx Plus.

The Metabolic Mind Matrix contains:

 • L-Theanine which counteracts the negative effects of caffeine and other stimulants without negating their value. It affects the movement of nerve impulses, giving you a calm relaxed feeling while not minimizing alertness. (2)
 • Caffeine (150mg). About the amount of 2 cups of coffee, enough to get you alert and focused. Caffeine is the most widely used ingredient in fat burning and weight loss supplements.
 • TeaCrine brand Theacrine which is similar to caffeine in that it’s found in tea and coffee and used to boost energy and focus.

The Pure Energy Complex contains:

 • DMAE which contributes to the brain’s production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, improving energy, focus, and athletic performance. (3)
 • Advantra Z Bitter Orange Extract which has been known as the ephedra alternative since ephedra was banned. It may boost metabolism, but the evidence for both its safety and effectiveness is minimal to non-existent.
 • Yohimbine Hcl which is a central nervous system stimulant commonly used in both weight loss and erectile dysfunction supplements, including Vydox and Libido Max. It can increase blood flow by opening up blood vessels, as well as provide energy and suppress appetite.

LeanFire XT Side Effects and Warnings

Even though LeanFire XT plays down the factor stimulants play in the formula as opposed to cognitive enhancers, this stuff is actually pretty stimulant-heavy, so we shouldn’t be so quick to embrace it as utterly safe. In fact, a couple of the stimulant ingredients in LeanFire XT ar possible causes for concern.

Bitter Orange (aka Citrus Aurantium, aka Synephrine) came out like gangbusters when Ephedra got banned. It was praised as “just like Ephedra, only safe”. But that’s not necessarily turning out to be true.

There is plenty of concern about the safety of Bitter Orange, especially when used in conjunction with other stimulants such as caffeine, which is the case with LeanFire XT. WebMD considers taking Bitter Orange as a weight loss supplement to be “possibly unsafe”, especially when taken in combination with caffeine and other stimulants. (4)

Combining the two could lead to such serious issues as high blood pressure, heart attack, fainting, or stroke. More mild side effects include headaches and increased sensitivity to the sun.

Yohimbine HCL has similar side effects concerns, though possibly more severe. There have been reports of effects including rapid heart beat, seizures, heart attack, kidney failure, and dangerous drops in blood pressure. Milder side effects include nausea, irritability, racing heart beat, and dizziness. (5)

Several countries have banned it altogether. The FDA has not gone this far, but does recommend against its use. (6)

The LeanFire XT label warns that you should not take it for more than 8 weeks without taking time off. It also warns that you shouldn’t use other sources of caffeine or bitter orange while you’re using LeanFire XT, recognizing that the stimulant content may be problematic, at least for some users.

How To Use LeanFire XT

Because of the heavy stimulant content, it’s recommended that you start off taking just one capsule on an empty stomach about half an hour before a meal or workout. If you tolerate it well, you can add an additional serving before another meal throughout the day.

If you find it upsets your stomach, the recommendation is that you take it with a small amount of food as a buffer.

 • Strength Training and Weight Lifting – What to do and when to do it.
 • The importance of supplements in all facets of your daily workout routines.

It then gets into the meat and potatoes by providing an easy to print chart to track your progress on a weekly basis.

My Personal Results

I ordered a free trial bottle of LeanFire XT about a month ago and finally got a chance to test it out.  I really only have a few pounds to shave off, but it’s the type of weight that proves to be VERY stubborn at coming off.

You know the kind I’m talking about.

It’s the kind where you push hard in your workouts, live on grilled chicken and rice, and STILL can’t seem to get the weight off.  The very stubborn kind of belly fat most guys deal with.

Did it help me realize that goal?

Well, sort of.

As I mentioned earlier, the directions on the LeanFire XT label state that you should start off with 1 capsule to assess your tolerance, which I did.

I tend to be VERY sensitive to stimulant-heavy supplements such as this, so I wanted to proceed with caution.

I took the recommended dose about 1 hour before heading to the gym on a totally empty stomach, first thing in the morning.

I skipped my usual 2 cups of coffee this morning, but after about 20 minutes I could feel the caffeine from the pills kicking in.

I ended up doing a pretty heavy leg session, and even finished it off with a 5K run (yes, I do HIIT after leg workouts…shoot me 😉

About 3 hours after I took that first dose I experienced a pretty significant crash, and decided to take a short 15 min. nap and then take another capsule about an hour after my post workout meal.

Once again, I could feel the effects kicking in after about 20 minutes.

One thing I definitely seemed to notice was that my appetite had virtually disappeared.

I was literally having to force myself to eat dinner that night, and I also noticed a bit of nausea (likely from the yohimbe).

Since I didn’t feel like I was overstimulated that first day, I decided to take 2 capsules on an empty stomach the following morning.

This time I REALLY seemed to feel the energy coursing through my veins.

My initial plan was to just get some work done, but I had the kind of energy that made it uncomfortable to be sitting for any length of time, so I decided to hit the gym earlier that day.

What followed was one of the most intense workouts I’ve had in recent memory, similar to the type of workout that I had after taking a different supplement called Xenadrine Ultimate weight loss.

I continued using LeanFire Xt for a total of 2 weeks, and finally decided to weigh myself in.

I started off at around 187, and ended up right around the 184 mark.

Did I lose the fat around my belly?

Maybe a little.

Realistically, no matter what the formula is that a supplement, dietary or otherwise, has to offer it is not going to be able to accurately target belly fat specifically as it isn’t quite as simple as that.

But one thing I definitely did notice was that I seemed to have lost a bit of muscle, especially in my arms and chest.

Don’t get me wrong, I looked much more defined and shredded.

By I could tell that I lost a bit of strength and muscle.

Customer Reviews

LeanFire XT has been on the market for less than a year, so customer feedback is just not out there yet. Lots of Force Factor products are sold on Amazon.com, and have received plenty of customer reviews. But LeanFire XT is not sold on Amazon, so that source of feedback just isn’t there at this time.

Where to Buy

As we mentioned earlier, Force Factor products, including LeanFire XT, are available for purchase at GNC stores, as well as online through their store website. The 60-count bottle, which could last as long as 60 days if you stick with the one serving per day dose, sells for $69.99.

If you buy it at the Force Factor website, you’ll pay a lot more – $99.99 for that same 60-count bottle.

LeanFire XT Review 4

LeanFire XT Pros and Cons

Advantages of LeanFire XT

 • The formula uses ingredients that foster the mind/body connection.
 • There are plenty of stimulants to provide energy, a metabolism boost, and appetite suppression.
 • You can pick some up at your local GNC store.

Disadvantages of LeanFire XT

 • It can be expensive if you don’t buy it through GNC.
 • The formula contains a heavy stimulant content, that could be problematic, especially if combined with other stimulant sources, such as coffee.
 • There is a real lack of customer feedback available. This makes it tough to know if it’s working for real people in the real world.
 • Not a big fan of the yohimbe, but I can’t hold it against them too much.

The Bottom Line

The LeanFire XT certainly looks powerful, and the marketing seems to say all the right things, especially when it comes to smooth energy and the notion that it ups your motivation with cognitive enhancers.

But with closer inspection of the ingredients within the formula, it becomes clear that LeanFire XT might go too heavy on the stimulants – to the point of discomfort for some.

Caffeine, synephrine, and yohimbe are all powerful central nervous system stimulants in their own right.

Yohimbe comes with warnings, as does the caffeine/synephrine combination.

So to have all three in one supplement could certainly be problematic.

Of course, because the formula uses proprietary blends, we don’t know how much of each ingredient is used. They do list the caffeine as 150 mg per pill. This is about as much as 1.5 to 2 cups of coffee.

But we don’t know how much of the other two are used.

This could be a potential cause for concern.

LeanFire XT could be an effective weight loss supplement. If you choose to try it, start with one pill, and take it fairly early in the day to make sure it doesn’t interfere with your sleep.

If you don’t experience nausea, a racing heartbeat, or any other negative effects, continue using it as it will probably provide a good amount of weight loss support.

And be sure that you lift heavy and increase your consumption of lean protein if you want to keep the muscle gains you have, or at least limit the amount that you lose.

As always, the right supplement with the right workout routine is the ultimate way to get desirable results that are going to last.

Conclusion

1. Ostarine: The Perfect S.A.R.M.

When it comes to the poster boy for S.A.R.M.s, it’s hard to think of a better choice than Ostarine.

chemyo ostarine
Ostarine sold by Chemyo.

Also referred to as MK-2866, Ostarine has been a hot topic in the medical field as well as the bodybuilding industry.

Due to its ability to promote the growth of healthy muscle tissue and bone in those with muscle deteriorating conditions, Ostarine has been the subject in several ground-breaking studies like this one, this one, and this one.

2. How Ostarine Works and Benefits

Just like other S.A.R.M.s, Ostarine works by targeting selective androgen receptors in the body.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2017/02/ostarine chemical
^Ostarine chemical makeup

Once ingested, the compound attaches itself to these selected androgen receptors. From here, this is when the compound works its magic, promoting the growth of lean muscle tissue and promoting proper bone development. (Source)

Some users have even reported shedding body fat with Ostarine (more on that later).

3. Potential Side Effects of Ostarine

As I mention above, Ostarine, as a SARM, is going to maximize the anabolic benefits while reducing androgenic side effects. Unfortunately, there’s just no way to eliminate side effects completely with a SARM like Ostarine.

However, the intensity of the side effects is heavily dose dependent. While user reports may vary wildly, here are some of the potential side effects for men and women when using Ostarine:

 • Potential mild testosterone suppression

For example, one user on the Steroidology forum suggested that he’s seen blood tests that have proven total testosterone drops from Ostarine alone.

does ostarine cause testosterone suppression

Of course this is anecdotal, and should only be taken with a grain of salt.

 • Mild acne

For example, this guy had been taking Ostarine for 8 weeks when he started identifying spots on the side of his arms, upper chest, and back.

does ostarine cause acne

Again, anecdotal and no way to confirm that this happens to a wide swath of guys.

 • Mild (if any at all) hair loss

While reports are relatively rare, Ostarine has been reported in some to cause minimal hair loss.

hair loss reported from taking ostarine

With that said, this particular individual actually had a history of hair loss since the age of 19.

Hardly a correlation = causation scenario.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2017/02/correlation does not imply

With that out of the way, in theory Ostarine should NOT cause hair loss.

This is because, by definition, a SARM like Ostarine is selective in which androgen receptors it stimulates by tissue.

There are androgen receptors in ALL tissue, including:

 • Brain
 • The skin
 • The scalp
 • Muscle

The only androgen receptors that Ostarine simulates is:

 • Bone
 • Muscle
 • Tendons
 • Ligaments

It does NOT stimulate the androgen receptors in the scalp, so in theory it should have NO effect on hair loss whatsoever.

4. How to avoid side effects altogether (or at least minimize the chances)

Assuming worst case scenario, the best way to combat the minimal side effects that you may have is to supplement with a PCT (Post Cycle Therapy).

clomid as a pct
^ Clomid – A common PCT

The most common ones are:

However, these 2 are really overkill in my opinion, especially if you’re only running a 4 week cycle.

You wouldn’t need a hardcore stacked PCT, a simple, mild PCT will do the trick.

These include:

5. Ostarine Cycle Logs

I haven’t had a chance to personally test out Ostarine yet, but I’ve read through COUNTLESS logs on a wide variety of sites and it looks legit.

Here’s an example of a typical 4 week cycle I found on a site called Evolutionary.org:

6. What the Research Says about Ostarine

So what exactly has science demonstrated about Ostarine?

Well, it’s important to note that no professional medical organization is going to fund a study that has the sole intention of proving Ostarine as a highly effective muscle mass enhancer for the purpose of bodybuilding.

Especially when S.A.R.M.s have been banned by the WADA.

ostarine is banned by WADA
^ WADA banned substances list

With that said, you can take a look at the medical research, its medical applications and apply those same benefits to what you can expect when you use a SARM.

In the past, anabolic steroids had been the go-to solution for many conditions that featured muscle and bone deterioration.

anabolics for muscle wasting

With the first study of a SARM showing so much potential, studies have focused on replacing anabolic steroids with SARMS like Ostarine.

In fact, the first study was performed back in 1998 and it involved guess which SARM.

ostarine clinical study

That’s right, Ostarine.

In one of the most famous studies, the use of Ostarine resulted in amazing gains. Subjects were not prescribed a specific diet or training program and yet, all subjects experienced a dose dependent gain of lean muscle tissue. Subjects took 3 mg per day of Ostarine and ended up gaining an average of 1.3 kg or nearly 3 pounds of muscle mass.

Looking To REALLY Get Ripped?

They gained almost 3 pounds of muscle and did NOT add in supplemental training or a new way of eating! You don’t need me to say it but imagine what kind of results you can achieve if you were to add in a hypertrophy focused training program and meal plan. (1-3)

7. Benefits of Ostarine

Here’s a quick rundown of the finer points of Ostarine:

 • Promotes anabolic properties
 • Androgenic side effects (if any) are minimal
 • Will not negatively impact the liver
 • Supports lean muscle tissue growth
 • Protects current levels of muscle and bone
 • Will not convert to estrogen or dihydrotestosterone
 • May promote higher levels of strength, power, and performance

8. Best Way to Use Ostarine

There are two ways to administer Ostarine:

 1. An oral supplement usually in tincture form
 2. An injectable dose.

Dosage:

 • How to choose the right dose:  Dosage will vary based on what your goals are. Also, remember that gains AND side effects are dose dependent. You may see more muscle mass with a higher dose but you’ll also see a greater risk of testosterone suppression. Any cycle that runs four or more weeks should be followed with a PCT, as mentioned above.
 • Lowest possible dose: 3 mg
 • Average dose (according to user reviews and brand recommendations): 12 to 15 mg
 • Highest dose (ideal for intense bulking): 25 mg (A PCT is absolutely required at this dose)

Cycle Length

 • This will vary by company. The general time frame is 4 to 6 weeks.

Cycle Support

 • Cycle support may be needed depending on the dosage. Again, the lower the dose, the less chance you’ll need a PCT.

9. Stacking Method

While you can stack Ostarine with different anabolic compounds, I’d argue against it. Ostarine has a specific function that involves targeting exact androgen receptors in order to maximize your results while minimizing your side effects.

What do you think will happen if you throw a wildcard like a prohormone on top of that?

Remember above how I mentioned that prohormones serve up some anabolic features but also come with the androgenic side effects?

Why ruin a good thing?

The only thing you may want to consider stacking Ostarine with is a quality intra-cycle support supplement if you are using it at a higher dose.

Something like Primeval Labs Mega Cycle support would be a good choice, here’s their site:  https://www.a1supplements.com/primeval-labs-mega-cycle-support

10. Where Should I Buy It?

I’ve used close to half a dozen brands of Ostarine over the years, and I personally recommend the Ostarine over at Chemyo.

chemyo brand ostarine
Chemyo brand Ostarine.

It’s made of great quality, it’s 3rd party tested, and it works…period.

Or if you prefer to learn more about Chemyo first, click here to read my full review.

11. Conclusion

When muscle mass and strength boosting is your fitness goal, it can be easy to reach a plateau where you just aren’t seeing the results you once were. Once you cycle through various diets and training methodologies, you may still want something more to help push your body past it genetic limitations.

Prohormones are tempting but the lack of results and the amount of side effects that you get will squash that temptation. Anabolic steroids are incredibly effective but also highly illegal and come with long term health complications. Then there’s a Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator.

While banned by the WADA, finding a quality S.A.R.M. is still very easy and the compound is highly effective.

One of the best S.A.R.M.s on the market is Ostarine. Backed by scientific research and studies, Ostarine has been shown to significantly increase lean muscle tissue and strength.

User reports claim that it promotes a higher level of fat burning. If you want a new way to smash your limitations, Ostarine may be what you are after.

From all appearances, it has a good track record for delivering on the many promises that Ostarine claims. Of course, as with anything, you will find good and bad reviews however.

Of course, you should always do your homework and make sure that it is in line with your own best overall health, and hopefully you get to enjoy the benefits that it has the potential to offer.

Conclusion

What Is Phalogenics?

Phalogenics is a program available to paying members. It’s a system of guides and exercises, provided in both PDF and Video formats, designed to provide you with length and girth increases, along with more control and better, more intense orgasms.

I originally stumbled upon it while browsing around an adult site (Porn Hub), and came across an ad that said something like “Throw Out Your Penis Pills Now“:

phalogenics ad throw out your pills
^ Look familiar?

When I clicked on the ad, it took me to a page that had a RIDICULOUSLY long video.

phalogenics video

Throughout this video, they talk about:

 • Porn stars and why they are so big
 • Why porn stars last longer than the average guy
 • The importance of penis size
 • How Phalogenics will work to get you bigger

I was provided an inside look by the folks over at Phalogenics, and I have to admit they have put together a pretty decent product.

I’ll explain more shortly.

Benefits of Phalogenics

There’s a very long list of benefits you get from using the Phalogenics system.

According to their website, these include:

 • Stronger erections without the need for pills or potions.
 • Increased girth. Ask around and you’ll find that women care far more about girth than they do about length.
 • Fuller head which is better able to reach a woman’s g-spot for the elusive vaginal orgasm.
 • Control over when you ejaculate, so no more premature ejaculation worries.
 • Increased pleasure for both you and your partner.
 • Curvature correction. If you are one of the many with a curved penis, the Phalogenics program can help correct for it.  Normally I would recommend an penile traction therapy device like Phallosan Forte, but your hands can get the job done too.
 • Increased semen production for more intense as well as impressive ejaculations.
 • Through the roof confidence. If you put together all these benefits and bring them to the table, the next time you have sex, you’ll be confident and in control. And nothing is sexier to your woman than that.

How Phalogenics Works

The Phalogenics website talks a lot about the male anatomy and the physiology of how a penis can grow, as well as supporting their claims with REAL customer before and after pictures.

Side Note:  What is it you’re looking for?

I want to get bigger…
I want to get it up AND keep it up…
I orgasm too fast / need help with premature ejac…

The penis is made up of smooth muscle, and is composed of the main parts:

 • The root
 • The Body
 • The Glans
the parts of the penis
Source: TeachMeAnatomy.info

Not skeletal muscle (like your biceps), or cardiac muscle (like in your heart).

types of muscle tissue explained

Skeletal muscle grows when you work out. It responds to the influx of blood, oxygen, and nutrients, along with the tearing down that occurs during a workout, by repairing and growing larger and stronger.

how muscles grow

The smooth muscle of the penis responds to the influx of blood a bit differently.

It’s the connective layers, the tendons and ligaments that adapt and adjust during exercise.

Instead of new cells forming, existing cells expand in size ever so slightly each time you exercise.

It’s similar to the ways extenders (like Phallosan Forte) work, creating micro fibre tears that create an elongation.

how penis enlargement works

When you perform the exercises each day, and rest in between, the cells repair and become larger over time.

The other contributing factor is the Corpus Cavernosa.

These are the 2 penile chambers that receive the blood that rushed in during an erection.

corpus cavernosum location

The tissue that makes up the Corpus Cavernosa is basically a sponge. As the sponge tissue gets stretched during exercise, the pores or holes of the sponge expand to hold more blood.

how phalogenics works

More blood means a bigger, harder, longer lasting erection.

What’s Included With Phalogenics?

The Phalogenics system is entirely online, and is available at Phalogenics.com.

When you sign up, you won’t get anything in the mail. Instead you’ll get an email message with instructions and codes to gain access to the members only portion of the website.

In that section you’ll find:

1.  The Quick Start Guide

This gets you up and running right away with an overview of what you’ll be doing and how it works.  The focus is on a method called Jelqing, or otherwise known as shrooming.

They provide a very detailed description of what it is, how it works, and how to do it, complete with video instructions.

phalogenics quick start guide

They also point out some of the potential dangers and side effects that can happen with Jelqing, so you know what to expect.  Suggested lubricants are also discussed.

The Exercise Guide which is the meat of the program, basically a manual for how to conduct the exercises in the program.  It’s broken down into 3 levels: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced.

phalogenics beginners, intermediate, and advanced sections

2.  Phalogenics Beginners Section – Weeks 1 – 4

Week 1

The first week is spent on teaching you how to properly warm up, jelq or wet milk for 10 minutes, and then cool down.

They actually do a really good job of describing the process of warming up, including a technique called the hot wrap.

Basically all this entails is taking a hot (not scalding, but hot enough to feel it) washcloth and wrapping it around your penis for about 2 – 3 minutes.

Click Here to see our free video demonstrations of many of these exercises.

This gets the blood flowing and warmed up for the routine ahead.

They then move on to an intro to jelqing, an exercise that is a staple of any penis enlargement routine.

phalogenics intro to jelqing

Total time each day:  10 minutes

Week 2

Week 2 involves a new exercise called the side to side stretch.

This basically works exactly as it sounds.

They provide a few helpful tips here, noting that you should perform the exercises for 1 day, and then take a day off.

Basically you are to repeat this everyday for the entire week.

They also provide relevant videos, including how to warm up / warm down, details on how to perform the side to side stretch, and jelqing.

phalogenics warm up - warm down video

Total time each day:  13 minutes

Week 3

Week 3 of the Phalogenics system is essentially exactly the same as Week 1.  There’s a warm up, side to side stretch, jelqing, and a warm down.

Total time each day:  13 minutes

Week 4

As they correctly point out in Week 4, you should start noticing some changes at this point.

The most obvious change is you’ll likely notice is your penis is starting to get bigger when erect.

Of course, this assumes that you’ve been following the program correctly.

This week, they throw a new exercise in the mix called a Kegal.

I’m not sure if they realized it, but it’s actually spelled “Kegel”, however they refer to at as a “Kegal” nonetheless.

In any event, Kegels essentially involve exercising the PC muscle, otherwise known as the pubococcygeus muscle.

This is basically the “muscle” that’s located just below your ball sack, and above the anus.

screenshot of the pc muscle

Exercising this muscle has many benefits, including:

 • Help you control your orgasms
 • Improve sexual function
 • May help relieve overactive bladder in men with prostate issues

It can be kind of difficult to explain exactly how to do a Kegel, luckily Phalogenics provides us with a very detailed video explaining the process.

phalogenics kegel video

3.  Phalogenics Intermediate Section – Weeks 5 – 8

Week 5

This week follows the same protocol of Week 4, but you’re instructed to increase your reps by 20%.

You’re also told that you should listen to your body, and to take 1 – 2 days off if something doesn’t feel right.

Good advice, wish I would have had that advice when I was first starting out.

Total Time each day:  20 min.

Week 6

Week 6 is similar to the same format as Week 5, with the addition of a new exercise called the Erect Stretch.

Basically the erect stretch is an exercise that’s similar to the side to side stretch, except instead of just going side to side you’ll actually be going up and down AND side to side.

Once again, they provide a video explaining the process.

phalogenics erect stretch video

Total Time each day:  22 min.

Week 7

This week follows the exact same routine as Week 6, with an emphasis on nailing down the erect stretch.

Total Time each day:  22 minutes

Week 8

At this point, you should DEFINITELY be noticing some changes in size, performance, and confidence.

Week 8 follows everything in Week 7, but this time they emphasize Kegels a bit more.

Total Time each day:  22 minutes

4.  Phalogenics Advanced Section – Weeks 9 – 12

Week 9

Here’s where things seem to get ramped up a bit.

If you’ve made it this far, you should have a pretty good grasp on what your body can handle.

You’ll follow all the same exercises in Weeks 7 – 8, but now Phalogenics introduces a new exercise called the Jai Stretch, of which you are supposed to perform 10 reps.

jai stretch video phalogenics

Basically what this involves is forming an OK symbol with your thumb, index, and middle finger, gripping the end of your penis, pull out at a 90 degree angle , and hold it there for 2 seconds or so.

If it sounds painful, it’s because it kind of is.

I’ve never actually done a Jai stretch before coming across Phalogenics, but I tried it out a few times and it gave me a little bit of tender / sore feeling after I got done completing my reps.

Of course, it’s always a good idea to start off VERY slowly with this to avoid any injury.

They also provide a video for the Jai stretch, which is fairly informative.

Total Time each day:  23 min.

Week 10

Week 10 is nearly identical to that of Week 9, with the addition of 6 more reps of the Jai stretch, for a total of 16 reps.

Total Time each day:  23 min.

Week 11

This week is similar to weeks 9 and 10 as far as being a continuation of the side to side stretch, Jelwing and Wet Milking, Kegals or PC Squeeze, but includes their final new exercise called the Compressor exercise.

It goes like this:

 1. The penis should be anywhere between 80 – 90 % erect
 2.  The recommended number of reps is 4 – 6
 3.  Grip the base of your penis with your right hand, with your open hand side facing upwards.
 4.  Grip the head of your penis with your left hand, with you open hand side facing downwards.
 5.  While still holding both grips, slight force the hands toward each other.
 6.  While still holding the force of both hands toward each other, slightly move the penis back and forth with your left hand.  This will cause small bends along the shaft.
 7.  Release, and repeat the process until the desired number of reps have been met.

It’s actually not as complicated as it seems, and will make more sense when you watch the video (should you decide to buy Phalogenics).

phalogenics compressor exercise explained

Total Time each day:  24 min.

Week 12

This is the final week, and culminates with basically the same routine as Week 11.

Total Time each day:  24 min.

Phalogenics Reviews

If you’re searching for reviews of Phalogenics (REAL ones at least), unfortunately you’ll likely come up short.

One site that I won’t mention here claims to have a review.

chd phalogenics user reviews

However, when you go to that page you won’t see any “review” of it.

It’s more or less just an overview of what the system is, and not very informative to say the least.

Then there’s the Youtube videos like this one:

phalogenics review on youtube

The title of the video clearly says “Phalogenics review“, but if you actually watch the video the kid is actually talking about a completely different product called Penis Enlargement remedy.

Just listen to it for 10 seconds and you’ll see what I mean.

Then there’s this video:

another phalogenics review on youtube

It’s kind of the same story (sort of) with this video review.

If you skip ahead to the 15 second mark, she’s talking about a completely different product called Paleogenics.

Who Created Phalogenics?

There’s very little information about the Phalogenics company online. The story they offer on the website is that it started as a few guys sharing their scribbled notes on how to get a bigger penis on a laptop and shared them by passing around a thumb drive.

about phalogenics

Then, apparently, one of these guys put the notes together in a members only package that could be sold to like minded guys desperate for some increased size.

How Much Does Phalogenics Cost?

$69 will get you access to the members only section of the Phalogenics website which is where you’ll find the entire system.

Return Policy

Phalogenics does offer a money back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied within 60 days, you should delete anything you’ve downloaded from the website and contact them for a full refund, which they will honor.

Their contact information is as follows:

Customer support phone number:  1-800-503-0591

Email:  support (at) phalogenics.com

A 60 day money back guarantee is more than most penis enlargement and sexual enhancement remedies that you are going to find online and speaks to the manufacturer’s integrity.

Phalogenics Pros and Cons

Advantages of Phalogenics

 • You don’t have to take any pills or use any devices. It’s completely exercise based.
 • There’s a money back guarantee.

Disadvantages of Phalogenics

 • Manual exercises can work for penis enlargement, but they require strict continuity. You need to do them every day in order to see even small increases.
 • Most of what you’ll find in the members only section of the Phalogenics website is the same information you can get for free. In fact, we offer a free Enhancement Exercises ebook that you can simply ask for and receive with no cost or obligation.
 • We found no independent Phalogenics reviews from customers who’ve used it with any success.

Conclusion

Is Phalogenics a scam?  Personally speaking, I don’t think so.  You can indeed use manual exercises for small increases in penis size.

I’ve done them personally, with great results.

(FYI, if you’re interested in signing up for my free “Enlargement Exercises” ebook, click here)

The nice thing about Phalogenics is the videos.

They provide a very detailed (and somewhat graphic) explanation of how to do these exercises, which for the beginner can be quite challenging.

They also do a decent job of structuring your weekly workouts to keep you fully aware of what you should be doing next.

The only downside I see is the way that the weekly workouts are updated.

When I originally started using the Phalogenics system, I followed about 2 weeks of their program.

I then hadn’t logged in for about 2 months, and when I decided to freshen up this review, I logged in and it said that I had completed every week when I know I didn’t.

phalogenics weekly training program

This could make it kind of confusing for someone who forgot where they left off, assuming they took a couple of weeks (or months in my case) off.

Another slightly annoying thing is that some of the videos seem to load a bit slow.

I’m not sure if it was my internet connection or what, but there were several videos that took a min. or so to load (which is a lifetime in 2017), and then would buffer several times throughout the video.

The mobile site is easy to use, and very well laid out as far as I’m concerned.

It’s also nice to see a company not pushing any supplements on the backend, something that is VERY common in the industry.

I would say that if you are confident that you can keep up with the program and give it your all if you want the results bad enough, it is a good solution.

If you’ve been on the fence about buy Phalogenics, I would say give it a shot!

NatureThin Review – Does This Supplement Make It Easy To Burn Fat?

Note:  This is just a review.  Click Here to visit the official NatureThin website.

With an estimated obesity rate of 36.5%, United States adults are the fattest people in the world.  Obviously, we are collectively doing something wrong with both our food and lifestyle choices.  While something clearly needs to be done in the near future in order to reverse this trend, in the meantime, there are plenty of different companies that are capitalizing on supplements that are designed to help people burn fat.

Truthfully though, the greater majority of these supplements don’t have much science behind them and have biased clinical trials to show their effectiveness.  This is why almost all of these fat loss supplements don’t provide the results they promise.  However, many people are still looking for the fat loss supplement that will aid them in their physique goals.  Does it really exist?

Today we will look at a product called NatureThin and determine if it allows people to lose fat by looking at the company that makes it and the science behind the ingredients in this formula.

What Is NatureThin?

naturethin reviewNatureThin is a weight loss product developed by AlternaScript, a company based out of Austin, Texas.  With a team of 10 members, AlternaScript makes the products OptiMind, RestUp, NuCulture and now, NatureThin.  Anyone who is familiar with these other products can likely expect this to be a high-quality addition to their product lineup.

Why Is AlternaScript Such A Desirable Company?

AlternaScript points the finger at the elephant in the room and emphasizes that sugar is the “culinary catastrophe” that is ruining our health.  They realize that a drastic lifestyle change is required in order to really lose body fat.  However, people who are willing to help themselves when it comes to diet and exercise can use NatureThin as a tool to assist them achieve their goals.

High-quality products and excellent customer service separates AlternaScript from other supplement companies.  Unlike many nutritional supplement companies, AlternaScript focuses on the best ingredients that have proven scientific benefits when developing their formulas.

All in all, AlternaScript is focused on building their brand, rather than looking for instantaneous profits.  At the end of the day, AlternaScript is proud of the products they market and want to be known as a legit supplement company.

In addition, NatureThin is manufactured in a southern California facility that uses solar energy, an environmentally conscious choice, while donating 5% of their profits to help people who suffer from drug addiction.

How Does NatureThin Work?

NatureThin works by providing the body with the basic building blocks it needs to burn fat in the form of vitamins and a proprietary formula.  This proprietary formula, known as SLIMVANCE, has been shown to help people lose 3 times more weight than the control group in clinical studies.

NatureThin works in tangent with exercise, proper eating habits, and sufficient water intake.  In other words, this is not a magic bullet, but rather, a supplement that can make it easier for people to get over the “8-week plateau”.  The 8-week plateau is defined as the phenomenon where people stop losing weight after working out and eating right for 8 weeks straight.  Anyone who is looking for that extra push in order to continue burning fat may want to supplement with NatureThin.

Of course, that does not mean that it negates the need to continue working out and hitting the gym, nor does it mean that you can give up on your healthy diet, but it definitely seems to help in getting out of that plateau slump.

The Scientific Approach To Making And Studying NatureThin?

In order to develop NatureThin, AlternaScript put 200 different botanicals that have been claimed to assist in fat loss to the test.  In order to determine their worth, these botanicals were injected individually into human fat cells and any losses in lipids were noted.

At the end of the study, SLIMVANCE showed the greatest weight loss results so NatureThin was developed around it.

In a 16-week clinical study, participants ate 2,000 calories along with walking for 30 minutes, 5 days a week, while taking SLIMVANCE or a placebo.  At the end of the study, the experimental group that consumed SLIMVANCE lost 3 times more weight than the placebo group.

Those are some pretty encouraging numbers, and quite honestly, the fact that NatureThin even underwent clinical trials at all is pretty encouraging as they are harder and harder to come by these days.

Ingredients In NatureThin

NatureThin consists of essential vitamins and SLIMVANCE, a proprietary formula.

The vitamins contained in this formula include vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, niacin, vitamin B12, biotin, pantothenic acid, and potassium.

The 900 mg SLIMVANCE proprietary formula contains Moringa oleifera, Murraya koenigii, and Curcuma longa.

Let’s break down each ingredient and determine why it is used in this formula.

Vitamin A – 2500 IU

Adequate vitamin A levels have been shown to improve overall health.  While anyone who eats a healthy diet should receive plenty of vitamin A, it may be important to supplement with this vitamin in some cases.

Vitamin A has been shown to reduce wrinkles, and add moisture to the skin, as it is important in collagen formation.

Vitamin C – 30 mg

Vitamin C is one of the most popular vitamins and for good reason.  Vitamin C has been shown to reduce the symptoms of the common cold and plays a wide range of roles within the body.

Vitamin C has been shown to increase blood flow, reduce oxidation, reduce the heart rate, reduce muscle damage, and has been shown to help burn fat.

Vitamin D – 2,000 IU

Vitamin D is an extremely important vitamin that facilitates the transport of calcium across the intestinal lining, therefore increasing calcium absorption.  Sufficient vitamin D levels improve bone health, improve mood, improve the function of the immune system, and improve cognitive performance.

While the most efficient way to receive adequate vitamin D is through sun exposure, people who are located far from the equator don’t have access to the sun all year long.

Vitamin D is found in fish, eggs, lard, and fortified in commercial dairy products.

Since optimal levels of vitamin D are essential for proper bodily function, supplementing with it is generally a good idea.

The research on vitamin D has shown that it reduces the risk of falling in elderly people, reduces cardiovascular disease, reduces parathyroid hormone production, reduces cancer risk, reduces blood pressure, and reduces fat mass.

Vitamin E – 15 IU

Vitamin E increases antioxidant protection and is most effective when paired with vitamin C.

Vitamin E has been shown to improve immunity, reduce oxidation, and increase liver enzymes, while reducing the risk of heart failure.

People who eat nuts and seeds should be getting plenty of vitamin E, however, supplementing with it may still be a good idea, if a small enough dose is administered.  With only 15 IU of vitamin E in this formula, it is likely to be effective without resulting in side effects.

Niacin (Vitamin B3) – 7 mg

Niacin is an essential B vitamin that has been shown to improve cholesterol levels and reduce triglyceride levels.

Oftentimes, niacin is prescribed in order to normalize blood lipid levels.  In cases where people suffer from low HDL-C levels, supplementation has been shown to offer benefit.

In addition, supplementing with niacin has been shown to improve cognition and increase longevity.

However, excessive niacin supplementation has been shown to increase insulin resistance, making this something that shouldn’t be consumed in large doses.  With only 7 mg of niacin in this formula, potential side effects should be of no concern.

When used for fat loss, niacin has been shown to increase the amount of circulating leptin, a fat burning hormone.  In other words, people with more leptin circulating in their bloodstream are able to burn fat more efficiently.

Vitamin B12 – 15 µg

Vitamin B12 plays a role in creating the mylein sheath that surround and insulates nervous tissue.  Oftentimes, people who are low in vitamin B12 experience a significant increase in energy when they begin supplementing with it.

Biotin – 300 µg

Biotin is an essential B vitamin that has been shown to assist people who have diabetes.  The reason for this is because a higher level of biotin in the blood increases the amount of insulin released when glucose is present.  A crucial component of the skin, nails, and hair, biotin has been touted to be the beauty supplement.

Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) – 10 mg

Vitamin B5 is required for Co-enzyme A formation.  Since CoA has a wide range of responsibilities throughout the body, mainly based around energy production, it is important to have a satisfactory level of it.

However, most people receive enough vitamin B5 from their food and shouldn’t require more, unless they are extremely deficient.

Potassium Citrate – 7mg

Potassium is an essential mineral that many people don’t receive enough of.  However, supplementation of potassium can be dangerous in high doses.  Fortunately, the 7 mg contained in this formula isn’t considered high by any means.  In fact, 7 mg of potassium is unlikely to make a difference one way or the other.

SLIMVANCE Proprietary Formula – 900 mg

Moringa oleifera

Moringa, often called the tree of life or miracle tree, is an amazing tree that has an impressive mineral and vitamin profile.  Oftentimes, people who have inflammation issues resort to Moringa in order to relieve their symptoms.  Moringa has been shown to be anti-cancer, as it contains sulforaphane, also found in broccoli.

In addition, Moringa has been shown to reduce blood glucose levels and can be an effective anti-diabetic supplement.

Murraya koenigii

Murraya koenigii, otherwise known as the curry plant has been used in traditional Indian medicine for centuries.  Murraya koenigii has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory qualities, in addition to being able to reduce blood sugar.  Oftentimes, this plant is used to treat diabetes.

Murraya koenigii also has strong antibiotic and anti-fungal properties, as well as anti-cancer properties.

All in all, more scientific research needs to be performed on Murraya koenigii, as it has so many different health improving benefits.

Curcuma longa

Curcuma or curcumin, is the active ingredient in Turmeric.  It reduces inflammation and has been shown to prevent cancer.  People who are suffering from metabolic syndrome often benefit from consuming curcumin.

Overall, the number of antioxidants contained in curcuma are significant and people suffering from arthritis like conditions or any other conditions that stem from inflammation often find relief by supplementing with it.  In addition, many people experience a reduction in anxiety and a reduction in fatigue when consuming curcuma.

Overall, curcuma increases insulin secretion and nitric oxide production, making it an all-around health promoting phytochemical.

User Reviews Of NatureThin

This is an entirely new product so there aren’t any user reviews on it yet.  However, the company AlternaScript makes a number of other desirable products that have received excellent reviews.  According to the BBB, AlternaScript is rated at an A+.

According to the company website, people that use this product, like Kathy Ireland, state that, “AlternaScript is committed to offering consumers truth and transparency.”  That is certainly a breath of fresh air, as many unscrupulous supplement companies hide behind a veil of secrecy.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, anyone who is looking to purchase a weight loss supplement or any supplement for that matter should do so from a reputable company that is transparent about its business.

With AlternaScript as the mastermind behind NatureThin, people who are looking for assistance with losing weight have every reason to try this product.

Intelleral Review

So many people struggle with focus and concentration in today’s world, likely because our attention is being drawn in every single direction.  While many believe that a chemical imbalance is to blame, chances are, we are just a product of our fast paced environment.  Overall, we have collectively seen our attentiveness decline due to the advent of technological advancements, especially smart phones.  So truthfully, a short attention span is likely just an adaptation to what we are exposed to.

However, many still believe that focus and attention can be improved by certain nootropic drugs and natural supplements.  While this is true to some degree, there are many unscrupulous vendors who are simply trying to separate people from their money with the promise of products that improve focus.

One of the newest natural supplements that has been claimed to improve focus is Intelleral, made up of green coffee bean powder.  This supplement allegedly assists users by improving concentration, maintaining attention, and helping people stay on task, all without a crash or side effects.  Let’s see if these claims live up to reality and look at what others are saying about this supplement.

What Is Intelleral?

intelleral reviewIntelleral is a natural supplement that is based around the energy boosting effect of green coffee beans, most notably, the drug caffeine.  Since there really isn’t much to the formula used in this supplement, is it likely to offer any benefit?

According to the company, “Intelleral increases energy, provides laser focus, offers a clear mental vision, and assists in memory recall.”

How Does Intelleral Work?

Looking at the proposed benefits of Intelleral, it is relatively disappointing to know that this is simply a coffee bean pill and not much more.  Of course, we all know that caffeine increases energy, assists with mental recall, and is one of the most amazing drugs on the planet.  That is why the greater majority of us drink coffee, consume energy drinks, or take some other caffeine containing products.

Intelleral claims that their patent pending process is able to allow users to experience a steady stream of caffeine from their green coffee bean powder (GCBP).  With a steady stream of caffeine, the manufacturer claims that this product doesn’t stress the heart or tax the adrenal glands.

With green coffee bean powder as the main ingredient, why don’t people just purchase green coffee bean powder on its own and use that instead?  Apparently, according to the company, their patent pending green coffee bean powder allows users to utilize all the acids, fiber, and caffeine of this product.  However, this seems to be a marketing ploy more than anything else.

To be clear, underneath the flashy website design and graphics, this product seems unimpressive to say the least.  Caffeine is caffeine, I can get that anywhere, right?

Clinical Study On Intelleral?

According to the company, Intelleral increases attention by 87% and working memory by 32% in one study.

In this study, young adults were subject to WGCP or a placebo, while responding favorably to WGCP.  The study talks about the benefits of caffeine, but the side effects as well.  It goes on to say that WGCP has all the benefits of caffeine without the side effects, like jitteriness, because the caffeine is slowly released through their patented formula.

Ingredients In Intelleral

As stated before, this product contains a patent pending version of Whole Green Coffee Powder (WGCP).
In studies on fat loss, green coffee extract has been shown to offer benefit, often believed to inhibit the intake of carbohydrates into the intestines.  This is why people generally take green coffee extract before eating a meal.

However, in this case, WGCP focuses more on the energy side of the coin, through the slow released caffeine content.

Dosage And Instructions

According to the company, take one pill just before breakfast and one before dinner.  Avoid taking Intelleral at least one hour before going to sleep.

Side Effects Of Intelleral

Excessive caffeine consumption has been shown to cause side effects like jitteriness, anxiety, and insomnia.  Anyone who is sensitive to caffeine should avoid taking this product.

While this product contains slow released caffeine, many have reported to feel the same jitteriness associated with consuming an excessive amount of caffeine.

Where To Buy Intelleral

Intelleral can be purchased directly on the company website through an exclusive trial offer.  However, any trial offer should immediately register concern, as this generally signifies that individuals who want to sample this product will eventually be charged after the trial period and often end up on an auto ship list.  This means that charges will add up on a monthly basis and lead to undesirable surprises on one’s credit card statement.

On the official website, a pop-up window reveals that one qualifies for an exclusive trial offer of 60% off with the coupon.  Upon clicking on the coupon, users are re-directed to an order form where one is prompted to fill in personal information and click the “rush my trial” button.

Upon submit, people are led to believe that this product is free and that a 30-day supply is available by only paying $4.95 for shipping.  The marketing tactics used here include revealing that this product is almost sold out, that 13 other people are viewing this offer right now, and that one must purchase this product within 5 minutes in order to ensure that they receive it.

intelleral free trial

There is a link to the terms and conditions, however, that would take more than 5 minutes to read.  People who read it anyway will realize that they are subscribing to auto ship, and will be charged $89.95 a month starting 14 days after signing up for the free trial.

According to the terms and conditions, people who purchase this product without the free trial will be charged $65.95 a month, every month until canceled.

intelleral auto ship

In other words, people who “take advantage” of the “free trial” are actually being charged $25 more every single month!

Customers who are looking for a refund can contact the company by phone at, 888-298-0291.  Realize however, that most people who requested a refund weren’t able to recover the entire amount.

So, say no to the “free trial” and realize that the greater majority of people who wrote reviews consider this to be a “scam company”.

In the end, many people who bought this product have to call up their credit card company directly in order to reverse the charges back to them, as the company apparently isn’t willing to entirely refund these unscrupulous charges.

Realize that anyone who cancels their order and returns the product can expect to be hit with a $20 restocking fee.

Why these auto ship billing tactics are still legal is beyond me, as most of the companies that use them don’t have a decent product to begin with.

User Reviews Of Intelleral

Since this product is relatively new, there aren’t many user reviews online.  However, there was one site with honest user reviews that should give anyone a reason to avoid purchasing this product.

According to this website, Intelleral received a 1.3 star rating out of 5 star rating.  To make matters even worse, 14 of the 15 reviewers gave Intelleral a 1 star rating, while only one reviewer gave it 5 stars.

Of the reviewers who gave Intelleral a 1 star rating, the overall consensus was, “do not buy this crap.”

Overall, the majority of negative reviews were based around the automatic billing and auto ship program.  Many people seemed surprised that they were billed multiple times, but anyone who has dealt with a company like this should expect this, as their goal is to extract the maximum amount of money from patrons.  Then again, anyone who has been the victim of auto ship and free trial periods likely learned their lesson the first time.

Other people who purchased this product weren’t satisfied with it due to the jittery feeling they experienced.  In fact, many say that the effects of this supplement are like drinking 5 cups of coffee.  Whoo, sounds like fun!  Since green coffee beans, or more specifically, caffeine, is the main ingredients in this product, why not just drink coffee in order to experience similar effects?

Conclusion

Stay away from this product, as almost everyone seems to be disappointed with the results and the shady free trial.  While this product may not stress the adrenal glands and heart, trying to get your money back and making calls to your credit card company may cause your stress levels to redline.

Since this product is simply green coffee beans that are ground up, any effects that people experience will be from the caffeine contained in them.  Charging people almost $90 a month for caffeine is insanely expensive.

Companies that make the greater majority of their money by getting a user’s credit card number and then charging them an excessive amount on a monthly basis are generally not businesses that anyone wants to deal with.

Since green coffee beans have been shown to burn fat and increase energy in certain studies, anyone who wants to experiment with the effects of this substance should purchase it directly and avoid expensive formulas that don’t offer much in terms of value.

On the other hand, people who simply want time release caffeine pills can purchase plenty of them without breaking the bank or having to sign up for auto ship programs.

Shannon Clark Interview: Fitness Model From Canada

Quick Stats:

Age:  33
Height:  5′ 6″ – 165 cm
Weight:  124 lbs. – 56 kg
shannon clark fitness

Intro

Shannon Clark is a fitness model, part time writer, and certified personal trainer from Alberta, Canada.  She is a contributor for Bodybuilding.com, AskMen.com, and SupplementCritique.com.

How did you get started with bodybuilding?

I got started into bodybuilding after quitting competitive figure skating and wanting something else to ‘fill the void’ so to speak. I had started working out while training for skating so it was a natural transition to become more involved. I haven’t looked back since!

Where does your motivation come from?

Generally, because I find working out so enjoyable and love the feeling I get after a session is done, that’s pretty much all the motivation I need. I’ve never regretted doing a workout. Beyond that, staying healthy and the physique benefits that come from working out also inspire me to keep pushing the barrier. I love how one can transform themselves with the right diet and workout plan.

What is your training philosophy?

Lift heavy and eat a balanced diet. I firmly believe that you can sum up a great routine with these two things. All the main compound lifts – squats, deadlifts, rows, shoulder press, and bench press are a must for any workout program. Progressive overload needs to be there and after that, add what you find enjoyable and what will keep you coming back to the gym for more.

What is your philosophy on nutrition?

I believe in a balanced, clean approach 90% of the time. I’ve learned to prepare healthy foods in a way that taste great and I don’t ever tire of, so it’s natural for me to reach for the right things when hungry. I do believe though that there’s a time and place for any food you love.

I think that keeping protein slightly higher is a smart move for hard training athletes and keeping carbs as high as possible is a must. While you can’t shun fats, you do need to eat good carbs regularly to have the energy to workout with intensity. I’m not a fan of very low carb diets unless for very short periods of time.

What workout routine has worked best for you?

An upper/lower split workout routine emphasizing compound lifts. No lift has changed my physique like heavy squats have. It’s remarkable what this exercise can do for you.

If you had to pick only 3 exercises what would they be and why?

 • Squats – for all the reasons I noted above and because there is no feeling like hitting a squat PR you’ve been struggling to reach for weeks.
 • Shoulder Press – I feel like shoulders are key to a great looking physique. They help give that V taper and will create the illusion of a slimmer waist.
 • Deadlifts – everyone should focus on back health as this will really pay off in 10, 20, or 30 years. Those who deadlift will be far more functional, in my opinion, than those who don’t.

When trying to cut down do you prefer to use HIIT or just normal cardio?

It depends. Sometimes HIIT can be good but you need to eat to support that. If dieting pretty intensely, I think moderate amounts of normal cardio is best. Generally I prefer to rely more on diet to do the work than cardio though. That said, I do believe that one should always keep 2-3, 20 minute sessions of cardio in their workout for heart health.
shannon clark

What is your diet like?

I generally eat a fairly balanced diet of around 35% protein, 40% carbs, and 25% fats. My food choices include things like chicken breast, eggs and egg whites, steak, and Greek yogurt. For carbs, I love sweet potatoes, oatmeal, fruits and LOTS of vegetables. I can pack away vegetables like no one’s business. 🙂 For fat sources, I love peanut butter, nuts, and try and consume salmon every so often for healthy omega-3’s.

Favorite Quote?

“The only thing worse than failing is the feeling of regret for not trying.”

What has been your biggest accomplishment in the fitness field?

Hitting 150 lbs on my back squat. I’ve only just started seriously squatting about a year ago so this was a pretty big moment for me.

Top 3 Nootropic Supplements

If you’ve been researching Nootropics supplements for any length of time, you’ve probably run across a lot of lofty promises.  Claims like:

 • Controversial Limitless pill used by the 1%
 • Viagra for the brain
 • Miracle Brain Pill Stuns Hollywood

are not too uncommon, and can make it difficult to decide what to believe.

Well, you’re not alone.  In fact, that’s one of the main reasons why I started SupplementCritique.com. (Read more about that in this blog post)

Over the past couple of years, I’ve personally tested 30+ Nootropics supplements.

nootropics weve tested

Some worked great, some worked so-so, and some didn’t work at all.

Below are the very best of what I’ve tested.

Keep in mind that while I label these 1 – 3, they’re not neccessarily ranked in that order.  Each supplement (or stack) I recommend below has it’s own unique features and benefits, which I’ve broken down accordingly.

if you want increased focus, concentration, and improved mood. Click Here
if you want to improve memory and slow cognitive decline. Click Here
if you want an improved mood, cognition, attention, and memory.

Increase Focus, Concentration, and Mood – Optimind and Phenibut

This particular stack is one of the first one’s I recommended to help not only boost focus and mental energy, but also to help improve mood.  Optimind is a nootropics based supplement that contains key ingredients and nutrients to help:

 • Boost productivity
 • Enhance Cognitive Function
 • Increase Energy Levels

There also seems to be some effect on influencing short and long term memory, however not as much so as with Mind Lab Pro (more on that one below).

Optimind is made up of high quality ingredients that include choline, DMAE, GABA, Vinpocetine, Phosphatidylserine, Caffeine, L-Tyrosine, and Vitamins B6, B-12, and D-3.

In short, it’s used to help stimulate your mental faculties and make you smarter.

The Combo Of Optimind and Phenibut

I write about this combo pretty extensively in my complete Optimind review here, but I’ll touch on it briefly here to give you an idea of what to expect.

optimind review     absorb your health phenibut

Optimind on it’s own is a pretty powerful stimulant.  It’s not the most powerful I’ve ever tried, but it’s in my top 5.

Now, what makes Optimind so effective is the combo of Caffeine, GABA, and Bacopa Leaf Extract.  The Caffeine and Bacopa are the stimulatory agents in Optimind, and the GABA is the molecule responsible for providing feelings of calm and a reduction in anxiety.

GABA is actually produced and released in the brain, and is essentially your brains “speed brakes”.

HOWEVER, GABA in the supplement variety is NOT very effective at crossing the blood brain barrier.

It will cross over into the brain to a small extent, but not in any real noticeable way.

This is where Phenibut comes in.

Phenibut is a central depressant and analog of GABA.  In plain speak, it’s a derivative of GABA.

Unlike GABA in supplement form, Phenibut has the amazing ability to lessen stress and anxiety, WITHOUT AFFECTING PERFORMANCE.

It does this because it crosses the blood brain barrier in sufficient enough quantities to have an impact.

I’ve personally tested Phenibut from well over a dozen vendors, and my personal favorite is the AbsorbYourHealth.com brand.

Not only is it relatively inexpensive compared to most of the other vendors out there, but they also offer free shipping and handling and a 100% money back guarantee at any time.

NOT a 2 week guarantee.

NOT a 30 day guarantee.

A LIFETIME guarantee.

That means if at any time in your life you don’t feel like this does anything for you, you can simply return the unused portion and they will give you a refund.

NO other vendor I know of does this.

Improve Memory – Slow Cognitive Decline – Mind Lab Pro

mind lab pro reviewDo you forget things easily?

Notice that you can’t solve problems as rapidly as you used to?

Do you find it hard to remember names, dates, or events?

For those that are looking for something to help improve short and long term memory, as well as slow cognitive decline, Mind Lab Pro is the right choice for you.

I highly recommend this supplement to older individuals who are suffering from age related diseases like Alzheimer’s disease, and even to victims of stroke or traumatic brain injury.

Mind Lab Pro is made up of ingredients like:

 • Citicoline – Which has been shown in studies to help with neural regeneration, mental energy, and attention span.
 • Phosphatidylserine – Proven in studies to help improve cognitive function in aging subjects.
 • Vinpocetine – Which is an effective nootropic that increases cerebral circulation.
 • Bacopa Monnier – Supports retention of new knowledge, and enhances brain chemicals and circulation.

I’ve also tested Mind Lab Pro with pretty surprising results.  Surprising in the way that I don’t suffer from an age related illness, so I’m not neccessarily the best test subject for the job.

It was even recently endorsed by chess grand master Nigel Short, watch his video review below:

as well as Dr. Paul Nussbaum, a clinical neuropsychologist and adjunct professor in Neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

 • Adrafinil

over the counter adderall alternative

I’m not going to go into a deep, complicated discussion of exactly how this stack works in this post.

HOWEVER, I talk about it extensively in my review which you can read here.

I have used many of the products that Absorb Your Health sells, and I can tell you that not only do they provide the best value, but also the highest quality supplements I’ve used.

Out of all of the nootropics stacks that I’ve tested over the years, this one was by FAR the best in terms of all around effectiveness.
