There are a lotof hgh supplements on the market that claim to help boost lean muscle, and help you lose weight at the same time. Hgh Factor is one of those supplements, so we decided to take a hard and fast look at this product to see if it really does what it claims. Ever since the publishing of a study conducted by the “New England Journal of Medicine” talking about the effects of HGH on the nervous system, many companies have been coming out with these products in an effort to capture the market.
Quick Facts About HGH
Human Growth Hormone has been studied and used for the past few years as a way to treat children with growth dysfunctions, and is typically taken in inject able form. True GH is applied subcutaneously under the skin, and takes a period of up to 12 months to actually work. It can only be prescribed and administered by a doctor, and often can cost upwards of $15,000 for a years worth of therapy.
Over the years, doctors have discovered that using HGH injection on adults can act like a kind of “Fountain of Youth” by rejuvenating and regenerating cells, basically taking the fight to aging. But there are other benefits besides rejuvenation.
HGH can help increase lean muscle growth, decrease fat stores, provide energy and vitality, improve athletic performance.
No wonder doctor and patients decided to use this stuff off-label.
There’s a lot of good it can do.
But again, HGH injections are expensive, invasive, and they’re just not an available option to most people.
So What is HGH Factor?
Since HGH injections are out of reach for most people, HGH Factor claims to step in and provide the same benefits, only safely, legally, and affordably.
HGH Factor is not actually growth hormone. It can’t be, because it is illegal to sell it without a prescription and doctor supervision. What it is, however, is a so called “hgh releaser”, which somehow encourages the pituitary gland to help produce more of its own hgh. This particular product uses amino acids and peptides in an effort to do this, but there has been no research or clinical studies to back up these claims.
HGH Factor ispromoted all over the internet, but you can only buy it on their official website. Moreover, reputable online retailers such as Amazon and Ebay do not carry very many of these types of supplements, probably because of the nature of how they are promoted.
HGH Factor Ingredients
The ingredient list provided by the HGH Factor website is divided into two parts.
The HGH Stimulators include:
L-Ornithine which reduces post workout fatigue as it increases HGH levels.
L-Glutamine which maintains the proper nitrogen balance for efficient circulation.
L-Lysine which is in conjunction with calcium to strengthen bones, cartilage, and collagen.
L-Valine which improves post workout recovery by helping muscles to both repair and grow.
L-Isoleucine which increases energy and endurance while promoting muscle repair.
L-Arginine which directly increases human growth hormone levels and speeds up tissue repair for better post workout recovery.
L-Glycine which strengthens both bone and muscle tissue, and helps in the formation of creatine for added muscle power.
The HGH Releasers include:
Astragin which is a combination of Astragalus and Panax Notoginseng.
It boosts the effectiveness of the other ingredients in the formula, and may have anti-aging effects of its own, based on how Astragalus is thought to protect DNA strands from the damage of aging.
How To Use HGH Factor
The recommended dose is 2 HGH Factor capsules taken in the morning with breakfast.
This is actually a little unusual for an HGH supplement.
It’s generally customary to take these at night so they can work on your body while you sleep, which is when most HGH activity takes place in your body.
We’ll mention here that often, you’ll see HGH Factor promoted along with another supplement, called Xanogen – a male enhancement/enlargement supplement.
According to the very hard sell marketing they do, taking HGH Factor and Xanogen together will net you 4 inches of growth “down there” in just 4 weeks.
There are numerous websites and blogs sharing the stories of average guys who became WELL ABOVE AVERAGE by using this combination.
As you can see, the claims are way over the top, especially when you consider that you’re just not going to get real or permanent manhood growth by taking a pill.
If you’re still curious about it though, head on over to my full review of the HGH Factor and Xanogen stack. I actually tried it myself, and can tell you first hand, there was no 4-inch growth.
User Feedback
While it is talked about a lot through various discussion boards, especially on body building type sites, there haven’t been many guys that have come forward to say they have tried the product out.
We found this review on an external site:
“I used HGH Factor for about a month and saw absolutely no results from it, I’m not saying it doesn’t work, because it might works for someone else, but it definitely had no impact on me, They said that it was supposed to grow your penis like 2 inches in a month or something, but i didn’t even get hard off of it, Waste of money if you ask me”.
Jeff, Tenn.
This is clearly a reference to the HGH Factor and Xanogen stack, so this guy pretty much had the same impression we did.
We also found plenty of positive customer testimonials posted on the HGH Factor website, but we want to caution you to take those with a grain of salt, since companies have been known to embellish or even flat out fabricate customer reviews.
That said, here are a couple:
“I would like to let you know that I am having great results with HGH Factor!
After one month’s use I have had better pumps, better strength and I have about five pounds more muscle”.
-David S., Austin, TX
“HGH Factor is so awesome I don’t know where to start. I feel a rush of clean, pure energy.
I have razor sharp focus and clarity, so much so that it makes everything seem easy. I feel calm and peaceful.
I know it isn’t a fat burner but I can literally feel my body burning fat — I can see it, too.
I highly recommend this product to all the stim junkies, gym rats and everyone else who needs a kick in the pants.
Once you get your hands on some HGH Factor you’ll never go back”.
– Jeremiah P., Biloxi, MS
Where to Buy
Hgh Factor does not appear to be sold in any brick and mortar stores such as GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, or local stores.
If you want to buy it, you’ll have to order it online, but there are two ways you can go.
All the promotional websites that you’ll find online lead to the the “free trial” offer, which turns out not to be free at all.
They charge your credit card $4.95 for shipping, and send you a full one month supply bottle. The day you order is the first day of your 18 day trial.
If you don’t take action by the 18th day, they will charge you $89.95 for the “free” bottle you already received, and they’ll start sending you a new bottle each month for that same $89.95 price plus shipping.
Lots of companies use an autopay program and lots of customers like it because it means they don’t have to remember to order each month. The problem with this one is that it’s misleading.
Customers usually have no idea their signing up for autopay when they order the trial.
HGH Factor puts the information in the fine print of the Terms and Conditions.
Most people miss it.
If you’d rather just avoid that whole mess altogether, you can order a straight up sale at the HGH Factor website.
A single bottle costs $99.95, but you can save a bit by buying more than one bottle at once.
There’s a 30 day money back guarantee, but you need to make sure to get an RMA number and return all boxes unopened, except for the one you used to test out the product. And your return request needs to come within 30 days.
HGH Factor Pros

Overall
The use of HGH Releasers is somewhat controversial, with one side arguing that the body simply cannot produce any more hgh after age 20 regardless of what you eat, and the other side saying it can. Until further proof can be obtained in the form of medical research and hard facts, we are going to say that more needs to be learned before approving or dissaproving hgh factor. The company’s site is very informative, and they make a good case for their product, but there is simply not enough known about whether or not it truly works effectively for muscle growth and sexual enhancement.
I have been reviewing dozens of products for the past few weeks now, and have tried lots of different products. Every once in awhile, I review a product without actually testing it, simply because I don’t have the time to take all of these supplements. Power pump is a product that I came across from a blog that says it can get you jacked and ripped in like 4 weeks. So I decided, instead of personally trying it, I would read a little bit about it first, then present my findings to you.
To start, this supposed “blog” that I came across talking about this product I feel is a fake. Actually, I know it is a fake, because it says “Advertorial” at the top of the page. It also has a similar fake “like” feature, similar to that of Facebook, and the comments at the bottom are also fabricated. How this particular blog owner gets away with it, one may never know.
Power Pump Facts
So anyway, I went to their official site to learn more about it and review their ingredients. Apparently, power pump works by increasing the levels of nitric oxide using an ingredient called L-Arginine. L-Arginine is a precursor to Nitric Oxide, which is something that is naturally produced in the body. When these levels are increased, it is supposed help nutrients get delivered through your system quicker, and also enhance your muscle building performance.
The ingredients are as follows: L-Arginine, L-Alpha Ketoglutarate, and L-Citrulline. All of these ingredients are apparently safe to take, and are recommended by leading researchers.
I decided to take a ride down to my local GNC to ask around if they know of anyone that has used power pump, and they said they haven’t even heard of it. After researching throughout the internet, there appears to be absolutely no one who has physically tried this product out, and talked about it online. I searched through discussion boards, blogs, third party sites, and came up completely short.
Medical Proof
The claims made by the maker of this supplement are that it is medically backed and doctor approved, but we could not find any info on their website that suggested they had conducted any clinical trials or anything. They do reference a number of publications that back up the fact that L-Arginine does act as a vasodilator, which expands the blood vessels.
As a matter of fact, we researched it a bit and found that l-arginine, when used in a recent study on 50 males, actually did contain male enhancement qualities similar to that of Viagra. It opens up the arterys and blood vessels that fill the cell wall of the penis, which allows for more blood to flow to the penis during an erection.
So Does Power Pump Actually Work?
It’s hard to say as of this review as to whether or not power pump actually does work to promote strength gains. There are customer testimonials on the site itself, but no indication from any other sites like bodybuilding.com or menshealth.com that other guys have used it. If you are that concerned about whether or not it works, we recommend that you order a one months supply and test it out yourself. Once you are done, you can send us your results and we will publish them here.
Reviews We Have Received
“i ordered a months supply for powerpump no formula about 6-7 months ago and i did not see any results at all. all it did was block my ears. fail of a product do not recommend it at all! haha” – Nathan

Dietary supplements come in all shapes and sizes, and some are effective, while others are just crap in a capsule. I came across Bigralis maximum strength male enhancer while reviewing products on amazon, and ordered a small sample to test out for myself. According to the label, this particular product is supposed to be ultra long lasting and a very fast acting formula, so i decided to test out these claims in this experiment.
As with most male enhancement products, this one came shipped discreetly in an over sized envelope. The dosage is one pill, which contains 400 mg of a unique blend of aphrodisiacs and extracts. The ingredients in Bigralis are not too uncommon for most enhancement pills, and includes Ginseng, L-Arginine, Horny Goat Weed (5 mg), Xanthroparmelia, GABA, Epimedium extract, and Fenugreek seed extract. I don’t particularly know how any of these ingredients actually work, but i do know that this is not the first product i have tried that contains them
My results
The product packaging says to consult a physician prior to use, but I consider myself a healthy 29 year old male, so i didn’t bother. Well specifically, the packaging says that you should consult a physician if you have a pre existing medical condition such as hypotention, hypertension, heart, liver, or kidney disease, depression, anxiety, psychiatric disorder, stroke, or if you are on any MAO inhibitors. I do not suffer from any of these things, hence I did not consult my doctor.
The packaging also says to take 1 to 2 capsules 1 hour prior to sexual intimacy, but the package only came with one pill. The pill itself was very fragile, and actually broke apart when i went to take it out of the packaging. I didn’t lose any of the ingredients, but i don’t know if it compromised the effectiveness of it.
Results and Side Effects of Bigralis
So i took it about about 11 am, and noticed a distinct feeling of euphoria, almost like i was high or something. I don’t do drugs at all, but Bigralis made me feel great. When i became sexually aroused, it felt as though every ounce of blood in my body was rushing to my penis, which actually made me feel kind of cold, like i had a fever or something. My erection was stable, and lasted until, well, I was done. I did not attempt to have sex again any other time during the day.
Another side effect I will note is the distinct feeling of nervousness, like i had drank 4 red bulls and a cup of coffee. I suspect this was due to the Ginseng and L-Arginine, but can’t be sure. It also made me feel a little irritated, but that could have been because my paycheck was a day late. 🙂
Overall
All in all, Bigralis did give me quite the erection, and made me feel pretty good. As far as my side effects, I would recommend that you speak with a doctor before taking this, because you never know how you will respond to these pills. The good thing is that this supplement is manufactured in the US, so you can pretty much bank on the fact that its safe to take. Check out their official site at bigralis.com.
The guinea pig is back at it again, this time I decided to try Zyrexin all natural sexual stimulant.
This particular supplement calls itself the “worlds strongest sexual enhancer”, but does it really work in under one hour?
Many of these pills, like zyrexin, contain harmful side effects and ingredients that would make you think twice about trying it more than once, but that’s not going to stop us.
I ordered this product last month and finally got around to trying it out personally.
Here is my personal zyrexin review, in it’s truest form.
Update! 1-3-2022
If you’re looking for a REAL solution to your ED issues, check out the guys over at Hims.
They sell a highly effective erectile dysfunction tablet that is by FAR the best ED remedy on the market.
This product, when compared to many others, is actually pretty cheap. I ordered a 30 capsule bottle on February 24, 2011 off of amazon, for the low low price of $29.35.
I usually don’t finish off the bottle, simply because I am too busy trying out other supplements, and this is the case with this one.
It took about a week to get my order, and I got it from a company called Superbalife International LLC, which according to Bloomberg is located in Los Anegels, CA.
In a discreet, plain marked envelope, I stepped away from my mailbox with a bit of confidence, thinking this might be the answer to my sexual dysfunction problems.
According to the label, Zyrexin contains yohimbe, which for those of you who don’t know, can actually be quite dangerous.
Apparently, yohimbe has been used for hundreds of years to treat erectile dysfunction issues, but has run into a couple of problems lately. There have actually been men that have DIED from taking it!
One was in Maricopa County, Arizona:
And the other happened in Los Angeles County:
While there were other substances involved, Yohimbe wasn’t completed ruled out as a primary factor.
Not good.
However, since I originally learned of yohimbe, I’ve actually taken several dozen pills that contain it, including:
Just to name a few…While I may have received some side effects, I never died.
In fact, in my journey through reviewing dozens and dozens of male sexual enhancment supplements, yohimbe has remained one of the most common ingredients that makes up almost every formula.
Zyrexin also contains several other well-known ingredients that are found in other sexual enhancers, including:
Epimedium extract
Xanthoparmelia Scarbosa
Ginkgo Exract
Velvet bean
Butea Superba
L-Arginine
The combo of L-Arginine and yohimbe has actually been clinically studied and proven effective for it’s use in ED. [1, 2]
L-Arginine, which is an amino acid, works by causing a process called vasodilation.Vasodilation is actually the process that happens when you take Viagra. [3]
It works by relaxing the muscle tissue surround the blood vessels, which allows for increased blood flow during erections. [4]
Butea Superba, another key ingredient in Zyrexin, works well when combined with L-Arginine as well. [5]
In fact, one study showed that Butea Superba was actually MORE effective than Viagra in the first part of the study. [6]
Zyrexin has potential drug and medical condition interactions.Click Here to readsome frequently asked questions we get regarding this, as well as a full list of prescription drug interactions.Reviewed byDr. Brian Straub, Pharm.D.
I popped my first pill in the morning, and started to feel the effects right around lunchtime. For those of you who just joined this blog, note that I only take these pills on a full stomach, and often only take half the dosage so i know what I am getting myself into. So lunchtime rolls around and I decide to run a little experiment with my “oh so gracious” girlfriend, who happily obliges. We decide to get nitty and gritty, and before you know it, I havea hard on.
Now, let me explain the difference of this hard on. I have tried alot of male enhancement products recently.
Not only that, but my stamina was through the roof!
My hard on was probably one of the biggest erections I have ever experienced, which may be the understatement of the century.

With little time to spare (girlfriends lunch is only 1 hour, “tick tock doc”), we got downright nasty, and it was a great, fun loving experience. We spent a little time afterwards talking about it, and she said she could actually feel my penis throbbing inside of her.
If you’re looking for an effective boner pill, this is it.
Yes. Because this supplement contains yohimbe, there is definitely the potential for side effects. This includes increased blood pressure and heart rate, dizziness, headaches, nausea / vomiting, and fever like symptoms to name a few. (Source: WebMD)
Your best bet to counter this is to take it on a full stomach and never take it late in the day, as yohimbe can also cause insomnia.
It should be noted though that if you don’t take it on an empty stomach, it will likely produce significantly less results.
5. Stacking Zyrexin With Phenibut
Once thing I’ve found that works REALLY well with supplements that contain high amounts of yohimbe (like Zyrexin) is a substance called Phenibut.
Phenibut is an anti anxiety drug (no shit, it’s actually a drug in Russia and other countries), that will COMPLETELY eliminate all feelings of anxiety and jitters that you would otherwise receive from yohimbe.
Yes. As a matter of fact, it’s one of the most popular boner pills sold in stores. I checked with all the major retailers like CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, GNC, Target, and Rite Aid, and practically all of them carry Zyrexin.
The average price for a 10 count bottle is around $18, so it also makes it one of the cheaper supplements available in this category.
7. How do I take Zyrexin?
The instructions on the label say that you should take 1 to 2 tablets one hour prior to sex, and to not exceed 4 capsules per day.
Of course, I always recommend that you start with a low dose (1 capsule) on a full stomach to assess your tolerance.
Side effects tend to be more pronounced when you take things, like Zyrexin, on an empty stomach, so it’s best to start small.
8. Is it available in Canada, Australia, and the UK?
Because it contains yohimbe (which is banned in those countries), unfortunately you cannot buy it there.
9. Does Zyrexin make you bigger?
I’ve had a TON of guys ask me this question over the years, and the simple answer to this is NO.
Zyrexin will NOT increase your size substantially, at least not permanently.
It will, of course, give you the best possible erection.
But there is no pill on EARTH that will give you permanent size gains.
While it seems to primarily help men, Zyrexin does have the potential to increase female sexual arousal.
How so?
Well, according to one source, yohimbe has been used by women as an aphrodisiac in Africa for 100’s of years.
Just like it does in men, yohimbe allows for increased blood flow to those “sensitive spots”, which ultimately allows for increased pleasure and even the ability to achieve an orgasm.
However, the side effects remain the same, so use Zyrexin with caution.
Zyrexin could potentially interact with certain medications or medical conditions.
Use caution and speak to a doctor before using it.

When I was doing some research I came across a new product that they’ve come out with called Zyrexin Ultra.
Apparently this new formula works 487% better, and because it’s so strong it’s not available in stores.
So what’s the difference between Zyrexin Ultra and the original?
Well according to them it contains the worlds only natural PDE-5 inhibitor.
If you’re not familiar with what a PDE-5 inhibitor is, I’ll give you a brief lesson.
PDE-5 (Phosphodiesterases) inhibitors were discovered and purified in 1980 from of all things a rats lung.
They work by converting intracellular cGMP to the nucleotide GMP.
What does this mean?
Basically what it does is relaxes the smooth muscle tissue surrounding artery walls, allowing for increased blood flow.
Here’s some scientific stuff to blow your mind:
Originally, PDE-5 inhibitors were meant to work in the treatment of coronary heart disease, but during initial clinical trials an interesting side effect was noticed.
Guys were getting GREAT boners…
That’s right, because of the mechanism of action of PDE-5 inhibitors, it seemed that PDE-5 inhibitors were helping with erectile dysfunction issues.
As a result of extensive clinical studies, we now have Viagra, Tadalifil, and Vardenafil, all of which are PDE-5 inhibitors which help with ED.
Now that you have a little bit of a background on what PDE-5 inhibitors are, what natural ingredient in Zyrexin Ultra causes this?
It’s called L-Arginine.
L-Arginine causes a process called vasodilation, which is EXACTLY the same thing that happens when you take a PDE-5 inhibitor.
It’s actually been called “natural viagra” by some, and I can attest to it’s effectiveness.
In fact, one study on the efficacy and safety of the combination of yohimbe and L-Arginine noted HUGE benefits after just 4 weeks.
Other then that, there’s not much else we know about the product. Price wise, a 1 month supply will cost you about $44.95, which is about $20 more than their original formula.
Both the original and Zyrexin Ultra have a 60 day money back guarantee, which you can exercise up to 60 days past the date of purchase.
No side effects, great orgasm, hard as a rock, would definitely recommend to anyone.Be careful of the whole yohimbe thing though, it can really be a pain in the butt if you have heart problems, as noted by several Zyrexin reviews. Check with your doctor if your not sure.
But, if you’re looking for a quick fix, I would certainly recommend popping a zyrexin pill.
After reading about several different types of muscle building supplements, I came across a product called Nitro Force Max. It’s a nitric oxide supplement that is supposed to give you insane energy for the gym, and help boost overall strength and endurance.
If you have tried other workout supplements that are nitric oxide based, you are probably familiar with the vasodilation blood flow to the extremities that helps to take your sets to the next level.
I wanted to put it to the test, so I decided to order a bottle and take a 30 day challenge. The following review are my results from taking this supplement, as well as detailed information regarding its potency and effectiveness.
I first learned about this supplement after browsing through some guys blog that said if you take it with another product called megamagnum, you are supposed to get an insane increase in the size of your penis. Of course, I didn’t believe this claim outright because I don’t think anything works that fast at all.
I ordered the free trial, which was actually not so free.
It turns out that Nitro Force Max originally costs only $4.95 for the shipping, but after 14 days they charge your credit card $70 every 30 days to keep receiving the product. Unfortunately, the “trial” period starts the day you order, and I didn’t receive my package until 9 days after I ordered.
So that gives me 5 days to try the product out, hardly enough time for anyone to see if it actually works or not.
Important side note:I will say this, I did call to cancel my order and they (the folks at Nitro Force Max), accepted my cancellation with no questions asked. I was only charged the shipping and handling fee, and nothing else.
My Results From Taking Nitro Force Max
Well, I did notice a small change in my workout intensity, albeit a very small change. When I would go to the gym, I felt as though I had a little bit more energy than before, and while I can’t directly attribute it to the supplement, I think it may have helped. Here are a couple of before and after photos after a 30 day period.
This shot was taken in mid February, about a week before I got it:
And This Photo was shot in late March, almost exactly 30 days after starting the supplement:
So did It Work?
I don’t know, you tell me. My arms maybe got a little bit more shredded, my chest felt like it may have grown a little bit, and maybe I lost 4 or 5 pounds, but I did not see the results I was expecting to get from Nitro Force Max. Maybe if I was to take it for a little bit longer I might have lost some more weight or gained some more lean muscle mass, but the blog that I saw promised the world and it certainly did not deliver.
My Recommendation
You can try it out yourself to see if you get anything different from it, but i think overall a healthy diet and exercise might have given me the same effects. If you do decide to order it, be sure you read their terms and conditions very carefully, and don’t get scammed out of your money because you didn’t read the fine print.
You shouldn’t have to read the fine print to protect yourself from being scammed out of your hard earned money when all that you are looking for is a supplement that will help elevate your workouts and muscle building to the kind of gains that you have wanted for a long time.
Doctor Aguilar’s original Magna Rx Plus is a dietary supplement that is advertised heavily through various websites, and can be found on the likes of Amazon, Ebay, and several other online stores.
It is also avaible in some stores. I decided to try this supplement out to test it for its effectiveness, and am publishing this review as my results. To start, it should be noted that this particular supplement is available over the counter, and does not require a doctors prescription.
My Experience – From Start To Finish
I received my package in the mail a couple of days after ordering, and the company we ordered it from (CheaperThenThem) sent us 2 bottles instead of one. They did this deliberately, and it was not a mistake, but I think they are just trying to get rid of the product. After doing more research, it seems like these Buy-One-Get-One deals are pretty standard for this products, regardless of where you get it.
Anyway, it only cost $10 for the bottle, and I figured what the heck. As always, it comes in a plain marked envelope, so there is nothing saying “male enhancement” or anything like that so your postman doesn’t know what it is.
Taking The Pill
The first thing I want to say is that when I opened the bottle was the smell.Honestly, this product stunk like horse manure. I don’t know if it is the muira puama or the catuaba, but it really stunk! Bad! Well, anyway I took 1 pill – the bottle says to take 2, but I never start with the recommended dose.About 2 minutes after taking this initial test dose, I got a slight burning sensation on my tongue.
“Oh this can’t be good,” I started thinking, getting a little worried. About an hour and a half passed before the sensation went away, and I felt, well, normal. No sexual boosting effects, no crazy energy, nothing!
Just that strange burning tongue feeling.
Now, I know you are supposed to take 2 pills a day for like 1 month, but I don’t have the time for that. Plus.
I like to test a wide variety of these supplements every week, so it’s not really possible. After reading several of the reviews about Magna Rx Plus on some other websites, however, it doesn’t really look like you ever get a good effect from it. I mean, almost every reviewer on Amazon says that it does not work, and that it is a complete waste of money. I would not go so far as to say that, but in all reality – based on my brief experience – I can’t see how this product can make any real difference in performance.
All that being said, however, it’s worth taking a close look at the ingredients to see if these product even has the potential to work.
Ingredients in Magna RX Plus
Pygeum Africanum (bark) – Extract from this African tree bark has been shown to promote healthy prostate function and may even have benefits in treating Benign Prostate Hyperplasmia, but more research is needed.
As far as its sexual benefits, there’s really no reason for it to be in this supplement.
In fact, some studies have shown that pygeum can even work against testosterone.
Maca (Lepidium meyenii) – This root has been used in traditional medicine for years, always with the purpose of improving male sexual performance.
And, unlike many substances in this category, actually appears to work.
Unfortunately, the doses used in promising studies are about 3-times larger than those present in Magna Rx Plus.
It’s also worth noting that, although maca seems to increase sex drive, it has no effects on testosterone levels and is not a stimulant.
Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium grandiflorum) – Another age-old remedy, Horny Goat Weed has been shown by modern research to live up to its reputation as a male enhancing herb.
In fact, some research even suggests that Horny Goat Weed can have a modest effect on testosterone levels – which is unusual.
The dosages found here are on the low side, but not the point of being totally ineffective.
The truth is that there is not enough research to really nail down a definite dose.
Oat Straw– Various parts of the common oat – the same stuff that we turn into oat meal – have been used to support male health by various traditional medicine systems.
Unfortunately, there’s little research to back this up.
Catauba – It worries me when there are typos in ingredient listings; This herbal preparation is actually spelled “catuaba” and was an important part of the cultural of several native Brazilian tribes.
And several animal studies have shown that catuaba can improve erections and increase the brain’s sensitivity to endorphines like dopamine.
What is concerning about it’s inclusion here is that authentic catuaba is actually a mixture of the bark from several different trees but Magna Rx Plus doesn’t describe their formula on the label.
Oriental Ginseng (root) – True ginseng (Panax ginseng) has given credit for a wide range of benefits, including increased testosterone and energy, as well as improved erections.
Unfortunately, those claims have not stood up to scientific scrutiny.
Ginseng does have decent benefits for mood and brain function, however. So that’s something.
Unfortunately, the dosage here is incredibly low.
L-Arginine – This popular supplement is a precursor to a gas called Nitric Oxide which widens the blood vessels and increases blood flow.
In theory, this should improve erections.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t necessarily work in practice.
Especially since the dose in Magna RX is about 13-times less than the lowest dose used in studies.
Stinging Nettle Leaf – Similar to pygeum, stinging nettle does seems to help with prostate health but has no effective on testosterone levels or sex drive.
Cayenne (fruit) – I’m guessing that cayenne is included to give Magna Rx a jolt of capsaicin – stuff that makes hot peppers hot.
Unfortunately, despite claims that say otherwise, capsaicin has no impact on sexual performance or enjoyment.
Muira Puama (leaf) – Despite having years of use in traditional medicine, there are very few studies backing up claims regarding this South American herb.
It does, however show promise as a mood enhancer and brain booster.
Unfortunately, the doses used in studies are much higher than those in Magna Rx.
Marketers have tried to promote orchic as a good source of testosterone, but there’s no proof of that.
Smilax Officinalis (leaf) – More commonly called Sarsaparilla, it’s typically the root that is used for a variety of reasons.
I’m not sure what the different between the leaf and root is, or why the leaf is used here but there is research into the root’s ability to increase testosterone level.
As of right now, nothing conclusive has shown up.
Astragalus (root) – Used as a sort of cure-all tonic in traditional Chinese medicine, there is no research to show that astragalus (which could actually refer to several different plants but the label doesn’t specify) has any benefits when it comes to sexual health.
Licorice root – The only effect that licorice root has on testosterone is to decrease it.
So I have no idea what it’s doing here.
Pumpkin (seed) – Pumpkin seeds have a long reputation for improving male health, and it may deserve it.
The seeds contain several vitamins and minerals – including zinc and magnesium – that increase sperm production and could improve prostate health. But that doesn’t mean that it has any effect on sex drive or performance.
Pro’s
Very Cheap (only $10 a bottle)
Quick shipping from Amazon
Has a healthy dose of L-Arginine and other beneficial ingredients
Made in the US
Con’s
Bottle stinks like manure
Really no effect on performance
Potential food allergy (contains wheat)
The few ingredients that might actually improve sexual health are in ridiculously low doses.
Recommendation
It may be worth giving Magna Rx a shot, simply because of how cheap it is and – in theory – the ingredients should have some sort of effect.Unfortunately, the few ingredients that might actually do anything for you are included in extremely low doses, greatly reducing their ability to actually work.
There are a lot of products that get bashed on sites like Amazon and Ebay, but you have to remember that most of the time people that do have success with the product generally don’t say anything, and the ones that had a negative experience with it are going to complain a lot louder. It does contain L-Arginine, which is supposed to increase blood flow and help with your stamina, so there is a plus.Even there, though, arginine is not the best choice for increasing NO levels and needs to be taken at a much higher dose – one that would require you taking most of the bottle at once.
It is also made in the USA, so I think it is generally safe to take, unlike a lot of other supplements that are manufactured in “who-knows-where” Southeast Asia. This isn’t intended to sound prejudice, it’s just that supplements from other countries have a reputation for blatantly lying on their ingredient labels.
Perhaps if you are willing to take something for a very long time to wait and see if it will be more effective for you than it is for me or others then Magna Rx Plus will be good for you, but I don’t know if it is worth putting the time into.
As far as using Magna Rx Plus as a male enhancement, I would skip it and move onto to something more potent.
Interesting Side Note: I recently found out that this Dr. Aguilar, who supposedly was the “brains” behind Magna Rx Plus, is actually not a licensed physician in the US.Aquilar may not have even had a major role in its production. He is a paid spokesman for the product however, and practices medicine in Mexico.

is a male enhancement supplement I came across that is supposed to give you rock hard erections in a matter of minutes.Since everybody wants a fast acting supplement that actually works,I decided to give this product a try and see if the claims could meet the hype, and I ordered a sample pill off of Amazon. After about 4 days, I received my over sized package in the mail, and it was placed in a plain marked envelope. Thankfully, this particular product does not contain yohimbe, a substance I have not had too many great experiences with. But, in the name of scientific research, I decided to ingest the pill anyway and report my results to you. We’ll get to those a little later in the review.
A Couple of Quick Facts About Libigrow
Libigrow is made by a company called True 2 Beauty which also manufactures a wide variety of supplements in the sexual health market.
They sell numbing sprays, energy shots, and even a pill aimed at women who are experiencing sexual difficulty.
It’s aptly named Libigirl, and it promises to deliver a sustained sexual arousal and heightened orgasms.
You can find all their available products for sale on their website, but today the one we’re focusing on is their flagship product for men – Libigrow.
As a fast acting supplement, you take just one capsule about half an hour to 45 minutes before you want to be ready for sex.
It doesn’t produce an instant hard on or anything like that, but it gets you primed and ready so when you are stimulated – mentally, physically, or both – your body will respond with appropriate attention.
Your erection promises to be bigger, harder, stiffer, and to last longer than it would without the help, and they say the stuff can last up to 3 days.
It’s actually made up of a number of ingredients, many of which are found in other leading “male enhancement” products.
The ingredients I have listed on my package are as follows:
Cordyceps Sinensis which is actually a mushroom used to increase sexual desire as well as boost blood flow and testosterone levels.
It’s a triple wammy when it comes to sexual enhancement.
Cnidium Monnieri which is also a libido booster and has been used for centuries to combat erectile dysfunction.
ChineseGinseng which appears in studies to improve conditions related to erectile dysfunction.
Dodder seed which is believed to increase sexual thoughts.
Vitamin A which improves overall health and possibly energy.
Niacin which opens up blood vessels which helps in a number of ways.
More oxygen and nutrients being delivered throughout your body gives you energy and vitality, while more blood flow to the genitals improves erections and increases sensitivity.
Zinc which has shown to be in direct correlation to testosterone.
Men with zinc deficiencies tend to also have testosterone deficiencies, which is why it’s commonly included in testosterone boosters like Nugenix.
Astragalus root which is an ancient Chinese herb used to promote energy and boost sexual function especially when used in conjunction with Cordyceps Sinensis.
The formula looks decent, but I don’t see anything that would knock it out of the park, especially for a fast acting supplement.
For those, you usually need something like the dreaded Yohimbine to really get things going.
As a side note, the particular pill I took felt like it caved in when i pressed on it, so there seem to be less of a filler in it.
Like always, I ingested the pill early in the day to reduce any side effects I would potentially get from it, and after about an hour, I did feel a succinct difference. I felt almost euphoric, kind of like I was smoking weed or something, but less of an effect. I decided to try it out for it’s potency, and decided to pleasure myself. Wow, what an erection! I didn’t really notice how good it was until some gentle touching, but it definitely gave me a boost I was looking for.
My side effects, unlike a lot of the other pills I have tried, were generally mild. There was a slight feeling of anxiety, similar to drinking too many energy drinks. I looked online for other men that had tried libigrow to see if they had the same effects, but came up short.
I listed for you the ingredients listed on my package of Libigrow, but if you search online for information on this stuff, you’ll see at least one other list, with a whole different set of ingredients.
This happens probably more than you think in this business.
Often companies will simply change the formulas used in their products.
When they do, it isn’t really big news.
You just end up with some conflicting information on the internet for a while, maybe forever.
I gave you my results above, but it helps to know the experiences of some other users as well.
Libigrow used to be sold through Amazon.com, so there were lots of available reviews, but that’s not the case anymore. Amazon doesn’t carry the stuff.
Unfortunately, the reviews went away when the product did.
From what I remember though, there was a pretty fair mix of guys who love it because it worked, guys who hated it because it didn’t, and guys on the fence because it worked, but caused uncomfortable side effects.
Basially, they had injected the active ingredient in Viagra (Sildenafil) into the Libigrow pills.
This is not by any means the first viagra alternative to be found in this situation.
In fact, the FDA issues recalls for dozens of products every year for the same violation.
A lot of fast acting supplements prove to be ineffective, and this is the way companies choose to deal with it.
Clearly, this is against the law.
In the US, the active ingredient in Viagra requires a prescription so hiding it in over-the-counter supplements isn’t allowed.
Truthfully, a lot of guys welcome the deception because they can get something that works without having to go to their doctor.
But its really an uncool move on the company’s part because Viagra can be dangerous for people with high blood pressure and especially for people taking nitrates for their heart condition.
Taking Sildenafil unknowingly could put this people at serious risk.
That recall was back in 2012, but I see the Australian equivalent of the FDA issued a recall for the same reason in 2014. That, together with the fact that they’re “out of stock” on the official website, leads us to believe they may have pulled the stuff again for another undisclosed ingredients offence.
Libigrow has an official website that offers its products for sale.
At this time, they do list Libigrow male enhancement pills, but they list it as “out of stock”.
When in stock, a bottle of 30 pills costs $89.99. It used to be available at Amazon at a cost of about $5 per pill, but it looks like they pulled it because of the recall. Most people, however, pick some up in the single or 3 packs at a convenience store, gas station, or sex shop.
There was talk of selling it at 7-Eleven stores, but I’m not sure if that ever got off the ground.
Libigrow Pros
Easy To Swallow
Came in discreet box
Decent enhancement result
You only have to take it when needed, not every day.
Libigrow Con’s
Kind of Expensive for one pill ($5 on Amazon)
Not available in stores
It’s been known to contain undisclosed ingredients at least twice.
Q.Where can I order the Libigrow pills or the Libigrow max?
Thanks…(czeal, email received March 24, 2014)
A.It looks like Libigrow is unavailable at this time until further notice. What sort of problem are you looking to solve? Are you looking to gain some size or enhance sexual performance? Let me know, maybe I can help to recommend something that works.
Q.What would u recommend for growth and enhancement Rob?
A.As far as enhancement goes, I would recommend you order a supplement called Vigrx Plus, and combine it with either an extender device like Size Genetics, or a water based pump like the Bathmate. Check out my reviews below:
Have they made any difference especially the enlargement tool.
Thanks for your input.
A.Actually I have. I’ve yet to update my reviews of them, but both the extender and the Bathmate work very well for enlargement gains. I plan on updating them soon.
I experienced some very mild side effects, but on the whole, my experience was good, and it definitely “worked”.
But having found out later that the stuff turned out to have undisclosed prescription drugs in it taints those results.
There is no doubt some people out there that may think that the potential presence of a prescription drug in it is a good thing, but the fact is that those drugs have the potential for bad side effects, interacting with other medications and supplements and even the potential to be fatal for some.
Even for seemingly healthy guys, I don’t want to recommend taking something that could potentially be harmful, especially if it’s something that’s supposed to be prescribed by your doctor.
There are a few internet retailers selling Libigrow still, but at this point, I’d say steer clear.
A company that’s willing to put their customers’ health at risk isn’t a company you want making products you put into your body.
You have no doubt seen about a couple of hundred ads about Extenze and probably didn’t even notice. This product is marketed through various means, and the most popular is through a wide variety of often comical tv commercials. Recently, I had a chance to try extenze all natural male enhancement, and wanted to share with you my experience. I ordered a “trial” package of it, which consisted of only 4 pills. According to the directions, it says to take 1 – 2 pills about an hour before sex, so as i pondered whether to just take one or not, low and behold an extenze commercial came on. Talk about consistency!
Well, I decided to just take one pill because I had bad experiences with some other products by taking the maximum recommended dosage, namely anything that contains yohimbe. Like always, I took the pill after a decent size breakfast, and started to feel the effects within the hour. Just like practically every other pill I have taken that contains yohimbe, I started to feel a little queasy, and felt like I was going to faint! So, I decided to lay down and wait it out.
Well after about an hour or two of bouts of nausea coming and going, my stomach started to settle down a little. But then, I started to get this flushed feeling in my face, as if all of the blood in my body was rushing towards it. I don’t know about you, but the last thing I was expecting was a rush of blood to the head, I was expecting it to go “down there”! I took a look at the extenze package, and it said if you experience any feelings of fainting or flushing you should contact a physician. Being a healthy 29 year old male, I really didn’t think I would have any serious problem avoiding the doctor, so i didn’t bother.
After a couple of more hours, the fainting, flushing, and cold feeling (like I had a fever) started to subside, and I just felt like my body went through a nightmare I would not ever want to go through again. In all of this, I did score a hummer from my girlfriend, and It was by far one of the best BJ’s I have ever gotten. It turned out to be a very intense orgasm, which led to a massive dose of you-know-what that I will not go into detail here.
The Bottom Line
Some guys don’t mind the side effects of extenze, but i certainly would not want to experience them again. I think that the best alternative to these pills may be Vigrx Plus, which i have used before and got the same pleasurable feelings, but without the side effects. I have read from other guys that said they use extenze and they had no problems with it. As far as the idiots who say you can gain 4 inches in your penis from taking it they are simply selling you a lie. Every guy responds differently to supplements like these, but I will never take extenze again.
I have been somewhat of a guinea pig for male enhancement products recently, partially because im not so sure they work, and partially because they are fairly cheap. I decided to try Rock Hard Weekend after browsing some of the hundreds of male supplements listed on amazon. My order arrived in about 3 business days, and it cost me about $6 for one pill, plus the shipping. Below is my review of this supplement, including my results, how it made me feel, a couple of bad side effects, and Rock Hard Weekend reviews from other guys.
The Test and The Results
So i woke up at around 7:30 this morning and decided I was going to take a male enhancement supplement today. Part of my daily routine revolves around trying one different type of supplement each day, and I have just gotten a barrage of these types of pills daily, so i decided to get to taking them. I started off trying out Stamina RX just last week, and my results were awesome to say the least. So, I kind of expected great results from taking Rock Hard Weekend.
Just like always, I take my supplements about an hour after breakfast, so I’m not taking them on an empty stomach. I usually start off with the lowest dosage possible, but for this particular product its not possible because there is only one pill in the sample. According to the directions, I am supposed to take 1 pill up to 45 minutes before engaging in sexual activity, so with my girlfriend not being home for another hour, I should be good to go.
I pop the pill, and just like the ad promised, I was rock hard in about an hour (with a little physical stimulation of course). Well, about 5 minutes into sex with my girlfriend, I get this ridiculous knot in my stomach like I ate one too many hot peppers. What was worse is it didn’t go away for about 2 hours, and that was after a couple doses of tums.
Now, keep in mind that Rock Hard Weekend did live up to it’s claim of “Rock hard” erections, and it was certainly fast and effective. I don’t know if i just got a bad batch or what, but my experience with it was not so great. Looking at the label, I found out that it does contain Niacin, which can cause nausea, diarrhea, and gas.
Overall Conclusion
I think thatrock hard weekendreally does work as advertised, but my side effects were not worth taking it again. I could have been an exception, and may have had just a bad allergic reaction to it, but i wouldn’t wish that feeling on my worst enemy.
Everyone responds to different supplements differently, but for me it was enough to know that it was not my choice for my daily male health.
My recommendation: try it our yourself, but make sure you take it with plenty of water and on a full stomach. If you experience any side effects, keep an eye on them and if they escalate do what you need to get medical help.

When it comes to male enhancement supplements, most of the effective options are daily pills you take regularly to build up your performance over time.
They work best after you’ve been taken them regularly for weeks, or even months.
That’s fine when you’re looking for a long term solution, but if you want improved libido and better erections now, you want a fast acting supplement.
Stamina RX has been a popular choice for a several years now, so I thought it was time we took a closer look to figure out why that is, and whether or not it lives up to the hype.
What is Stamina Rx
Stamina RX is a fast acting male enhancement supplement you can find both online and in stores.
You take it about half an hour to an hour before sexual activity, to boost libido, improve your erection, and increase your stamina to increase pleasure for you both.
A lot of fast acting supplements make exactly these promises, so we started our investigation with a look into the formula.
A lot of fast acting male enhancement supplements simply don’t work.
It’s a nice idea, and it makes sense to want an herbal product that works the same way the prescription pills do, but making something effective has proved pretty challenging.
So challenging in fact, that they often secretly inject prescription medications similar to what’s in Viagra into these pills to make them work.
The result is that they do indeed work, but they come with unexpected side effects, and potential danger for people with heart and/or blood pressure conditions and anyone who takes nitrates.
Stamina RX was actually involved in a 2009 FDA recallfor containing an undisclosed prescription ingredient called benzamidenafil, a derivative of Sildenafil – the ingredient in Viagra.
Since then, however, they’ve come back with a new formula that includes the one ingredient that seems to work best in fast acting supplements – Yohimbine.
Epimedium Sagittatum, which is an aphrodisiac that also increases improves blood flow to the genitals for better erections.
Cnidium Extract which is an aphrodisiac that may also affect erections.
Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa Extract which is still another aphrodisiac with blood flow enhancement properties.
Gamma Amino Butyric Acid which decreases stress, which leads to an increase in desire.
L-Arginine which acts as a precursor to nitric oxide.
Nitric Oxide is a vasodilator which opens up blood vessels allowing more blood to flow through for better erections.
Yohimbewhich is likely to be where most of the fast acting effectiveness comes from.
It works as an aphrodisiac, but its main function is to increase blood flow and improve nerve impulses, increasing your tactile pleasure. But it doesn’t come without risk.
It may cause headache, racing heartbeat, dizziness, and potentially an extreme drop in blood pressure.
Stamina RX has been around a long time, and it’s available through lots of different retailers.
That means there’s no shortage of customer feedback online. It’s great when the majority of opinions all lean in one direction, but unfortunately that’s not the case here. In fact, opinion is extremely varied.
The following two reviews are a pretty good representation of both sides:
Todd says: “This stuff really works, I have been a fan of Stamina Rx for several years and I know they changed the formula to comply with FDA guidelines, This stuff used to work 100% before they changed it, with no nausea or headache, Now there are some of those symptoms that you have to deal with especially if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, Now everybody is different so just know that, If you can deal with possible headache and light nausea that doesn’t last long you should get the result that you are looking for”.
While Joan says it: “made my husband very sick, with nausea headaches dizzy spells, lost two days of work because of trying this,” with no mention at all of its purported benefits.
I had the pleasure of trying out stamina rx today, and what follows should be short but thorough review of my results. First off, I want to apologize for not updating this earlier, as presidents day weekend proved to be longer than expected. After severaldozen beers and cheeseburgers, its back to the daily grind in south florida. Anyway, i ordered my trial package of stamina rx last Thursday off of Amazon and it was literally shipped that day. I received it in the mail yesterday ina plain, discreet envelope that was addressed from MOD Life Supplies out of Sarasota, FL.
Hours 1 – 4
To cut right to the chase, I decided to take the pillslate this morning after a fairly large breakfast. The plan was to take them about an hour before my girlfriend got home so we could participate in some “experimental treatment” options. The packagecomes with 2, but i decided to only take one because of alot of testimonials i readfrom other guys complaining about side effects. Well, after about an hour later, she was home, but he (you know who) wasn’t. I figured “ok, the box says 1 – 2 tablets prior to sexual activity”,but it doesn’t say how long.
So my girlfriend comes home for an hour, and we spend the latter half of her lunch break laying around on the couch. Now I’m starting to feel just a slight bit of nausea, and frankly, i was starting to get the jitters. So she (girlfriend) leaves to go back to work, unimpressed by the results of Stamina Rx.
But Wait, There’s More!
About 20 minutes into a not-so-restful nap, i get this massive hard-on out of nowhere. I started to think maybe it was just one of those erections you get when you have to pee really bad, but this was a full on rod of steel. I tried to actually shrug it off but believe it or not i ACTUALLY started to get horny. I couldn’t hold it anymore, and decided enough was enough, i’m going to pleasure myself.
What Followed Was One of the Most Intense Orgasms I Experienced in A LONG time! It only took me about 4 minutes to climax, but when i did it was like an eruption of a major volcano. I only wish my girlfriend was there too see it. 🙂 (Well have to experiment again later)
I felt SUPER horny, but was drooling, really nauseous, and felt like I was coming down with the flu!
Overall
Right now I am on my fourth hour into the effects of the stamina rx, but i gotta say i am impressed. I still feel kind of hard, and there is that small but of queasiness, but it seems to be going away. I actually started getting random chills as well, so i dont know if it is the pill or if i am coming down with something. All in all, I think it is a great product and really does work for male enhancement, but i would be very wary of the side effects if you have heart problems.
Where to Buy Stamina RX
You’ll find Stamina RX at gas station and convenience store counters as well as online. You can pick up a bottle of 30 pills online for anywhere between $29.95 and $34.95. At convenience stores, they sell 2-tablet packages for around $3 a pop.
Stamina RX is a good option if you’re looking for a fast acting performance enhancement supplement, but it does come with the potential to cause side effects, serious ones for some.
Mine were fairly mild – I was able to handle them pretty easily, but others might not be so lucky.
In the end, Stamina RX is worth giving a try.
Just start with one pill, so if you’re hit with side effects, they’ll be on the mild side.
Hey guys, thanks for visiting our review of twinlab daily one caps without iron review. I have personally been using this supplement on and offfor about1 monthnow, and wanted to share with you my results. According to the label, this product helps to promote healthy eyes, and contains extra folic acid for a healthy heart. As a dietary supplement, you are supposed to take one capsule daily after a meal. It is manufactured by a company called IdeaSphere, Inc, which is located in American Fork, UT.
The specific bottle I have is a 180 count bottle, which my dad actually bought for me from vitamin shoppe i believe. It contains all of the usual ingredients you find in a multi-vitamin, such as vitamin a, c, d, e, zinc, folic acid, b6, b12, calcium, magnese, copper, selenium, and iodine.
So How Does it Make Me Feel?
Well in all honesty I get a little nausea when i take these. It’s almost like when I swallow the pill the capsule bursts in my stomach and I get like an instant nauseous feeling. I have also gotten some sort of a small rash on my chest. Now I don’t know if this can be directly attributed to the Twinlab daily one capsules, but i started getting this like 2 weeks ago.
I definitely get alot of energy after I take these pills. As a matter of fact, my girlfriend accused me of taking steroids because I have been so intense for the past couple of weeks. And by intense I mean I get a little agitated/irritated at stupid little things. Again, I don’t know if this can be directly attributed to the capsules, but it just started recently.
Also, these pills are Huge! Huge is actually an understatement, they are freakin enormous. I have always had a hard time swallowing large pills, and these are actually a little easier to swallow than some of the multi vitamins i was taking prior. It must be because they are in plastic capsule form, so when they are wet they slide down easier.
Other Important Facts:
– Says it promotes healthy eyes, but i see no difference in my eye sight 🙂
– Healthy heart? I guess so.
– Definitely have more energy in general.
– Bottle smells funny
Conclusion
Overall, this multi vitamin is like most of the ones I have taken. The only bad side effects to report are the nausea, upset stomach, and occasionally “roid rage” as my girlfriend likes to coin it. I guess I’ll keep taking it though because my dad bought about a 10 year supply of the pills from vitamin shoppe. What can I say, the guy likes a good bargain!
