Muscletech Push10 Review – Does It Work?
By: Rob MillerMuscletech Push10 Overview
Muscletech Push10 is a non stimulant pre workout, which makes it part of a very elite group. Most preworkouts are all about the stimulants. They give you jacked up energy and get you wired so you’re chomping at the bit to get to those weights, and you push and push for hours, garnering those impressive results you want. But Muscletech Push10 is different. Instead of pushing stimulant energy, it pushes pumps and pump energy. You can always stack it with a stimulant based fat burner if that’s what appeals to you, but the real focus of Muscletech Push10 is the pumps and the performance.
According to the product webpage, Muscletech Push10 provides a 10.5% increase in muscle strength and a 21% increase in endurance. With that kind of real performance improvement, who needs stimulants?
Muscletech Push10 Ingredients and How They Work
The ingredient profile for Muscletech Push10 is rather brief. The formula contains:
- GAKIC which is a patented compound made primarily of L-Arginine. L-Arginine is a pre cursor to nitric oxide which is a powerful vasodilator. It opens up blood vessels, allowing more blood to flow to muscles during workouts. This means more oxygen and nutrients, which means more strength and increased endurance. Studies at the University of Florida have shown that it’s more effective than a placebo.
- Wazy Maize which improves absorption so the ingredients are most efficiently used.
- Beta-Alanine which reduces lactic acid buildup in your muscles so they don’t get fatigued as quickly. Longer workouts mean better gains.
The recommended dose is a little confusing. The label says that a serving size is 1 scoop and that there are 16 servings in a tub. But the instructions say to use ½ a scoop. That would mean the tub would lst about a month. In either case, you should mix it with water and take about 45 minutes before hitting the gym.
Muscletech Push10 Pros and Cons
Advantages of Muscletech Push10
- There are some really favorable Muscletech Push10 reviews from people who wanted the benefits of a non-stimulant pre workout but didn’t want to give up the energy.
- Because there are no stimulants, you can stack it with other pre workouts or fat burners if you want.
Disadvantages of Muscletech Push10
- According to the vast majority of reviews, this stuff tastes horrible.
Where to Buy
Muscletech doesn’t sell their supplements directly, but you can get them online through Bodybuilding.com or in stores like GNC. The 16 scoop tub cost between $35 and $40.
Conclusion
Non-stimulant pre workouts are great. The focus is on muscle pumps and muscle energy, not jitters and hyperness. But between the cost and the awful taste, my feeling is that you can do much better than Muscletech Push10.
