MasXtreme Overview

MasXtreme was the “natural” male enhancement supplement that could do it all.  It supported better, thicker, harder, longer erections, increased your sex drive, eliminated premature ejaculation, and provided you with explosively intense orgasms.  And it accomplished all this naturally… or so they said.

It turned out that MasXtreme wasn’t all natural after all.  Back in 2010, the company, Natural Wellness Inc., issued a voluntary recall after the FDA discovered two undisclosed ingredients that require a doctor’s prescription.  At this point in time, MasXtreme should be off the shelves entirely, but in this age we live in, nothing ever goes away completely.  So in case you come across MasXtreme, we want you to be prepared with the information you need.

MasXtreme ReviewMasXtreme Ingredients and How They Work

In the case of MasXtreme, this section requires two lists – the disclosed ingredients and the undisclosed ones.

Disclosed Ingredients

Maca Root, Tongkat Ali, Catuaba Bark, and a few we’ve never heard of.  Basically the purpose of these ingredients is to increase your libido and boost your free testosterone levels.  Both of these actions will lead to a better sexual experience.  But there is notably nothing there for increasing the flow of blood to the penis for those better erections.  Perhaps they left that job to the undisclosed ingredients.

Undisclosed Ingredients

In a random test, the FDA found MasXtreme to contain Aminotadalafil.  This is a derivative of Sildenafil, which is the active ingredient in Viagra.  It’s a PDE-5 Inhibitor, which prevents blood from flowing back out of the penis, so you can have thick, full, lasting erections.  This ingredient requires a prescription because of its potential interactions with other medications, particularly nitrates.  Men who take both can experience dangerous complications such as severely low blood pressure.

The other undisclosed ingredient found in MasXtreme was Aildenafil, which is similar to phentolamine, an alpha-adrenergic blocker that also requires a prescription.

MasXtreme Pros and Cons

Advantages of MasXtreme

  • None.

Disadvantages of MasXtreme

  • It contained undisclosed ingredients.
  • It’s no longer available.

Where to Buy

We looked and found no source for buying MasXtreme.  It used to be sold in single blister packs, so I wouldn’t be surprised if some were out there.  I also wouldn’t be surprised if the price is very very high.

Conclusion

MasXtreme is not the first male enhancement supplement to try to get an edge by using ingredients they shouldn’t.  The biggest problem with the whole scenario, in my view, is that it leaves you not knowing who you can trust.  If they did it, who else is doing it?  I guess the lesson we can learn from MasXtreme is that you should do your homework, research the companies that make these products, and try to choose a product that’s been clinically tested.
