1. Growth Factor 9 Overview
HGH has for quite a few years now been thought of by many as a sort of “fountain of youth”.
The media has done a really good job of glorifying it’s benefits, as is apparent in numerous reports like this one:
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2MRdHshj10]
Synthetic HGH in the form of injections was used by athletes to improve their performance.
It worked so well it was quickly banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
This doesn’t mean that it’s illegal for ANYONE to use it, just athletes competing at a high level.
With that said, real HGH injections aren’t cheap!
Enter HGH releasers, and in particular, Growth Factor 9.
But, is this too good to be true? Read on to find out whether Growth Factor 9 is the supplement you’ve been waiting for.
Update 1-7-2022

2. What is Growth Factor 9 (GF9)?
The idea behind supplements like Growth Factor 9 (GF9) is that they encourage your body’s own natural production process for HGH to kick into high gear.
How does it do this?
It’s all about improved sleep quality.
In men, approximately 70% of the days HGH release happens during sleep.
When you’re young, you have a huge amount of HGH being released.
Just like everything else with age, that amount starts to dwindle down as the years pass by.
Growth Factor 9 aims to change all of that by using a proprietary blend of ingredients that helps give you a GREAT nights sleep.
As a result, the reported benefits of Growth Factor 9 include:
- Greater endurance and stamina.
- Increased lean muscle mass.
- Faster recovery times after working out.
- Deeper, more restful sleep.
- Elevated mood
Has this been scientifically studied?
There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that Growth Factor 9 (GF9) and others like it can work, but until now, there has been no scientific evidence at all. Growth Factor 9 changes that by having undergone a clinical study that showed a 682% increase in HGH levels.
The Science Behind Growth Factor 9
3. What Do The GF9 Reviews Say?
Looking around on sites like Bodybuilding.com and Vitamin Shoppe, you get a sense that Growth Factor 9 REALLY does have some potential.
The average star rating on BodyBuilding.com is 7.2 out of 10 stars, which is NOT terrible.
Reading through some of these reviews makes me wonder if it’s right for everyone. Most say it does a pretty good job at helping speed up recovery, but some people are literally calling it a “complete waste of money”.
Others are calling it the best supplement that they’ve ever taken.
4. Growth Factor 9 (GF9) Ingredients
Growth Factor 9 is primarily made up of amino acids which when used in this combination are a precursor to HGH, thereby stimulating the pituitary gland to release more HGH than it would on its own. The actual ingredients are:
- L-Argnine HCI
- L-Lysine HCI
- N-Acetyl L-Cystein
- L-Glutamine
- Oxo-Proline
- Schizonepeta Powder
A double-blind placebo controlled test was performed on Growth Factor 9. The information given about the test is a little brief, but from what I can gather, it included adult participants of all ages and both sexes, and the results were that 120 minutes after taking Growth Factor 9
(GF9), HGH levels in blood had risen by 682%.
One thing that you do want to take into account however with this product is that you can purchase the first four ingredients all on your own as individual products. So for the higher price point that this product sells for, you are primarily paying for Oxo-Proline and Schizonepeta powder, both of which don’t hold extremely powerful scientific research behind them and don’t appear to provide worthwhile effects.
The other ingredients however, do hold some promise.
L-Arginine is an amino acid that will help to boost the level of nitric oxide production in the body, which can help to increase blood flow and boost your workout performance. It can also when the right conditions are provided, help to increase the HGH release by reducing the production of a substance called somatostatin, which inhibits growth hormone. Studies are mixed however on the HGH boosting abilities of this amino acid, with some saying it actually does the opposite. Still, you will find it in many products, such as HGH stacks, pre-workout products, as well as sold on its own.
L-Glutamine is another amino acid that’s quite well documented and can help assist with improving your immune function. This then means enhanced cell repair and recovery, allowing you to get back into the gym to train again.
With ongoing high intensity training, your L-glutamine levels will drop, so adding this supplement can prove of benefit. Once again however, you can purchase it all on its own for a very cost effective price.
Finally, N-Acetyl L-Cysteine is another ingredient to take note of as it does prove beneficial, but unfortunately not in terms of boosting HGH. Instead, it can help to reduce the level of oxidative damage that occurs during intense training, boosting your recovery ability. So consider it – but don’t think it’s going to work HGH boosting miracles.
So for those who are on a budget, you may be able to see similar results if you purchase the first four supplements individually and just stack them with each other. Unfortunately as no dosage information has been listed on Growth Factor-9, but rather, it’s listed as a proprietary blend, this makes it hard to know precisely how much of each of those ingredients to take.
5. Growth Factor 9 Pros and Cons
Advantages of GF9
- It’s been clinically tested.
- The retailer sites are loaded with favorable Growth Factor 9 reviews
- It doesn’t involve injections or synthetic anything.
- Some users who experience joint pain may find that subside while using Growth Factor 9
- Appears to work especially well for men over 50 to regain energy they previous had from reading through customer reviews
- Some users report their skin looks healthier and younger than it has in years.
- May assist with improving sleep quality and/or duration.
- Most individuals report no serious side effects from using this product.
Disadvantages of GF9
- It’s expensive (though not as expensive as injections).
- There are plenty of negative GF9 reviews from customers who state that it had no effect.
- Even for those who do see results, in some cases it can take quite a few months of consistently using the product to see results from it.
- Some users report it can make them feel more aggressive and angry
- If you take these pills in the morning, you are advised to not eat for two hours following that, which can be problematic for many who need a good breakfast meal.
- This product does not have a medical endorsement, so you cannot be 100% sure of its safety
6. Stacking Growth Factor 9 With Other Products
Because of the fact this product is quite unique in that it primarily targets only increased growth hormone levels, this allows you to stack it quite readily with any other product you wish.
Protein powder, pre workout products, post workout products, and most testosterone boosters will all be fine paired with Growth Factor-9.
The only other products you may wish to not pair with GF9 include others designed to also increase growth hormone. As this is a powerful product to start with, you should not have to worry about stacking it with any other product with the same goal.
7. Comparing Growth Factor 9 With Other HGH Supplements
Speaking of other HGH supplements, how does GF9 compare? Questions should be raised as to how much more powerful it is compared to more basic growth hormone booster products. Chances are it is more powerful due to the addition of Oxo-Proline and Schizonepeta powder, however you will have to decide whether it’s worth justifying the increased cost. It would seem this product is very powerful with the 682% increase it totes, however take note that that study is not actually referenced, so we aren’t quite sure if it really exists. This in itself is questionable.
One additional thing to note is that this product does have a relatively shorter ingredient line-up list compared to some other products on the market, but don’t let that fool you. Very often those with long ingredient lists simply contain more fillers and less active ingredients, so this often isn’t a good thing.
There’s definitely no question that this product has numerous positive reviews from those who have seen results with it, but with the price tag it comes with and the fact you may need to use it for multiple months to start seeing benefits, you’ll need to think hard about whether it’s an investment you’re willing to make.
8. Growth Factor 9 Compared To Other Testosterone Boosters
Another question you might be wondering about is are you better going with a growth hormone product like Growth Factor 9 or opting for a pure testosterone booster.
While both have the same objective – to help you gain lean muscle mass and boost your strength, keep in mind that Growth Factor 9 will cater more towards aging men who are also trying to slow down the process of aging and won’t have as strong libido boosting effects. You should still notice some benefits, but they won’t be quite as noticeable as what you’d experience using a testosterone booster.
9. How Should I Take Growth Factor 9?
Growth Factor 9 (GF9) is a daily supplement that you must take on an empty stomach. This most likely means that you both take the 4 capsule dose first thing in the morning and wait 2 hours before eating breakfast, or you take it before bed, making sure that you haven’t eaten in the 2 hours prior. It’s also important that you use Growth Factor 9 in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle for optimum results.
Why I Don’t Think This Is A Good Idea
First, this is problematic because you will have the greatest natural growth hormone release when you first go to bed, not first thing in the morning. So this product is not capitalizing on that. Second, waiting 2 hours to eat upon waking is a great way to potentially put your body in a catabolic state, moving you away from your goals, not closer.
Especially if you are planning a morning or lunch workout, skipping breakfast like this would be completely unadvised. Your body needs fuel upon waking, so by using this product, you’re robbing it of vital nutrients. All the potential ‘good’ this product does is then offset by the harm you do from not eating.
So for this reason, you may want to reconsider utilizing this product.
10. Where to Buy Growth Factor 9
You can purchase Growth Factor 9 at GNC or online. The 120-count bottle retails for $99.99 and will last 30 days if used as directed. You can find it a little cheaper, so make sure you look around.
Also note that some stores do state that it’s not available to Canadians, however if you live in Canada, you can find it on other websites to be shipped to your area.
11. Conclusion
It’s encouraging to see that the research is beginning to take place regarding how well HGH releasers do or do not work. However, I’m a little skeptical about this study because while they do give some information about it, they don’t cite the actual study, and I haven’t been able to find it referred to anywhere else. Something like this, if it were legitimate, would be big news, I would think.
In general, such bold claims can often point to a product that is more bark than it is bite.

Should I work out directly after taking my 4 pills?
Also, after taking my 4 pills can i drink my N.O. Xplode drink and then work out? -Clay
Since you work out in the morning, you'd be better off taking your pills before bed, which is the alternate dosing recommendation on the package. Just make sure to wait 2 hours after you eat so you're taking your pills on an empty stomach.- Rob

Growth Factor 90 male enhancement, is there ANY substance of truth to this supplement? It has a 3 year money back guarantee that has my curiosity? -Eric
I haven't used it myself, but the ingredient profile is decent and there are plenty of favorable customer reviews. I haven't seen anything about a 3 year guarantee. In fact, on the Novex Biotech website, they mention a 30 day guarantee.- Rob

As with any supplement, your friend will have to consult with their prescribing doctor to see if there are any contraindications. He or she will be able to tell you.- Rob

Don’t fall for these clever TV scams .
I take two in the morning when I wake up two hours before breakfast and two after my last meal before bed. I have also noticed a slight gain in strength and in stamina.
But yet again this isn’t a magic pill you can’t take it and sit around and wait for it to work. You’ll just waste your money.
Nothing is going to happen unless you put in the work. In the gym and on the diet.
Anyone can work out for an hour a day it’s what you put into your body the other 23 hours of the day.
I’m not sure. When you take prescription medication, you should check with your doctor about whether or not a supplement you’re thinking about taking will interfere or cause issues.
One more thing, Novex, Biotec should pay me for this comment…
Haven’t really tried / tested YOK3D yet, so I can’t comment on that one. However, as far as Growth Factor 9 yeah you should take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Or im retaining an attorney… All you gotta do is tell me who solicited this, and all will be ok….

As a night shift nurse, I am able to pull a 12 hour shift, followed by a 1.5 hour work out at the gym, and go to sleep without feeling wired or exhausted; my appetite is reasonable without craving carbs/sweets or excessive amounts; stress is manageable; after one month, I lost 2″ overall; I feel about 10-15 years younger. As a result of feeling this significantly better, I also started my husband on this stack (GF-9 and a 8 wk cycle on/off P6 Extreme) and he, too, experienced the same benefits.
I’m so happy with this product, I recommend it and can’t imagine going a day without it.
