Best Supplements for Muscle Growth
Fact Checked On: 4-5-2018 By: Rob MillerLooking to pack on more lean muscle mass? If so, you may be wondering what the best supplements for muscle growth are.
While there’s no denying the fact that for the absolute best results the number one thing that you’ll need to be doing is getting yourself on a solid workout and diet plan, if you already have that in place, adding some smart supplements to the mix can definitely help you take your progress one step further.
That said, not all supplements are created equally, so it’s helpful to know which will get you to that end goal as you hope. Don’t think that muscle building supplements are just for men either – there are plenty that are designed for females that will also help you move one step closer to your goals.
Let’s go over the main ones that you might consider.
Creatine Monohydrate
The first good supplement to consider is creatine. Creatine is great because it’s going to help to replenish the high energy substrate, creatine phosphate in the muscle cells, which is used to make ATP, which then fuels each and every muscular contraction taking place.
Creatine will help you work harder while you’re in the gym, performing more work total without suffering from high rates of fatigue. As soon as you ATP stores run out, performance will sharply decline, so creatine helps you avoid this.
Muscle Advance creatine is one particular brand to consider as it tends to be well tolerated by almost everyone.
Whey Protein Powder
Next, another great supplement to consider is whey protein powder. Getting sufficient protein into your diet will be a must when you’re aiming to build muscle and whey protein does this nicely.
Whey protein powder is fast and easy and perfect for right before the workout period when you need a fast digesting protein to re-fuel your muscle cells.
Women in particular should strongly consider a high quality protein such as Gold Standard whey as they generally don’t consume enough meat in their diet to meet their daily protein requirements.
Supplement Stacks
I often recommend stacking supplements on here, because often one supplement alone will not give you the best results. All aspects of before, during, and after your workout are important, and most of the supplements we review / recommend on here only intended to help with one approach (i.e. a pre workout supplement, a post workout supplement, etc.)
One such supplement that we recently got a chance to test out that helps with ALL aspects of your routine is called the Crazy Mass Bulking Stack. This stack was specifically designed for “hard gainers”, or guys who have a hard time packing on muscle mass and definition. It is intended to produce the same results that steroids would, but it’s not actually a steroid. It will literally help you BLAST through your plateaus, and make gains that you never thought you could before.
The Crazy Mass Cutting stack is made up of one bottle of Dianobal, Testosterone-Max, Deckadrolone, and T-Bal 75, and we have a full review written about it here.
Pre-Workout
Finally, the last supplement that you should consider getting in a properly formulated pre-workout supplement. The main purpose of these will be to provide you with a high level of energy as you move into that session so you’re fully prepared to work as hard as possible with every rep that you complete.
A pre-workout supplement can also enhance your energy and focus while you’re in the gym as well, helping you push through a few more reps than you normally would.
Look into using NitroCut, which is one of the more recognized pre-workout products that will help you get leaner and more muscular with regular use.
Testosterone Boosters
Once you hit age 30, your testosterone declines at a rate of 1% per year on average. This may not seem like a lot at first, but it quickly adds up.
So whats the problem with that? Well, a lack of testosterone has been directly correlated with a reduction in muscle mass, density, and strength.
There’s plenty of natural ways to help boost your bodies own natural testosterone production, including:
- Performing High Intensity Interval Training
- Eating certain foods
- Getting adequate sleep
- Refraining from smoking and drinking
- Keeping your weight in check
Sometimes, however, all of this is not enough.
Testosterone supplements are nothing new. Ive personally tested dozens of them, often with less-than-stellar results.
One very effective testosterone booster I’ve tested in the past is called Testofuel.
Testofuel contains 9 high quality ingredients that, when combined with a healthy lifestyle, can give you extraordinary results.
There are literally HUNDREDS of all natural testosterone boosters on the market, and I’ve tested many of them.
Testofuel was BY FAR the best one. Learn more about it in my review here.
So there you have a few of the top muscle building supplements that you should strongly consider adding to your diet protocol. If you’re serious about results, make sure that your diet, workout, and supplement regime are all in order.

I was just wondering if there are any harmful side effects of using muscle advance creatine?
Thanks,
Tanner
The only side effects from using creatine are bloating and stomach upset, and they are actually pretty rare. Creatine is made in the body naturally, and is the most tested bodybuilding supplement we have. It’s very safe.

For putting on muscle and size, you’ll want a three pronged approach to your supplements. First of all, you’ll need protein. You can’t build muscle without protein. Next, add a pre workout supplement so your muscles respond better to your workout routine, getting the nutrients they need. Finally, creatine will give your muscles the endurance they need to push further and build faster. Your stack includes 100% Whey Gold Standard by Optimum Nutrition, Nitrocut, and Muscle Advance Creatine.
